“Welcome to the family” says our gracious host, Bill. We recently spent two nights at Meadow Croft and it was wonderful. The vision behind the quaint country inn and joining several old log homes together was unbelievable. CLEAN, very clean. Plated breakfast is delicious and served in a central dining “hall”. I can’t say enough about the charm, warmth and hospitality. The pictures on any travel app do not do justice and simply can not convey the warmth of the experience I hope you will have. Staunton is 15 minutes away for nightlife if you need it. Rocking chairs, porch swings and patios are available to relax on if need be. If you are considering a visit I do not believe you will be disappointed.

This is just such a beautiful place off the beaten path. We stayed in the cabin and it was so nice. Our host Bill gave us a call the day of our reservation to confirm. He was a wonderful host with lots of history about the area to share with us. The cabin was immaculate there wasn’t a speck of dust to be found. It is just beautiful inside and out. We set up a table in front of the fireplace and enjoyed some board games and the coziness of it all. The massive copper tub was large enough for 2… and the shower door was so clean I almost walked into it. Beautifully decorated and very welcoming. I just wanted to pick the whole place up and put it on my property. We had a nice breakfast each morning and the service was great. Super friendly people in a very gorgeous setting 5+stars highly recommend Very convenient to Staunton, Afton for the wineries or if your riding the Virgina Scenic Railroad you will have a wonderful get away weekend.

We loved our 3 night stay here! Bill and the other staff treated us warmly. The atmosphere is elegantly rustic. The room was clean and spacious. We absolutely loved the porch swings and chairs. Our kids liked rolling down the hill immediately behind the inn. Highly recommended!

Great bed and breakfast with phenomenal views of the country. Bill was so accommodating. The modest home-style breakfast was served with great attention. We had a lovely 3 night stay. The front porch swing offers a wonderful little place to watch fireflies or the rain.

Just lovely. The hospitality was wonderful, the rooms clean and well appointed, the location excellent, peaceful and close enough to Staunton. Shame we couldn’t stay longer

We found The Inn at Meadowcroft at the last minute while trying to find a stopping point on our long road trip. Bill & Judy were so so sweet from the moment we called and started asking questions. They even so graciously accommodated our early check-in (as we were driving through the night) and allowed us to bring our 2 year old since we were only staying 1 night. The room was immaculate, the tub/shower experience in the suite was amazing, and the bed was very comfortable! Our little family of 3 loved being so close to the city, but also the opportunity to explore the farmland and see the animals. This place has quickly became a favorite and we will definitely be back in the near future!

We had our wedding here. We were looking for something rustic and still elegant and this was a perfect fit. It was a small wedding (<20) - ceremony followed by a sit-down dinner. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! When I arrived that morning to prepare, they were already beginning to set up tables etc. They were able to provide everything that I asked them to, the way I asked them to. The decorations they provided were lovely and when I added my own details, everything blended well. It was indoors and there was sufficient space for the number we had. There is also ample outdoor space for that option. The menu was as agreed upon and the details were attended to. The food was terrific and the portions were generous. We stayed the night in their honeymoon suite, which was very nice, spacious, and private. A very tasty breakfast was served the next morning, which was every bit as good as our dinner had been. I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue, particularly if you do not want to have to coordinate catering on top of everything else. The Inn has a rustic elegance and it is warm and has flexible indoor and outdoor spaces. It is situated in the countryside; a lovely bucolic setting. We were thoroughly pleased and highly recommend it!!
