Consistently awful shopping experience. Seems prerequisite to get a job here is: Be a grumpy, menopausal female with no customer service skills. Price stickers very often incorrect and the staff are not trained in the scanning code of conduct rule.

Usually any other time I would give this place 5 stars as the staff are really nice and accommodating. Today around 2pm +/- a few minutes in the fruit and veggies section, my mum was browsing the veggies section, and incidentally was SLIGHTLY in the way of some incoming trolleys wheeled by a Woolworths employee - light/medium brown complexion, tall, glasses and wearing a black sweater. My mum had apologized briefly and had moved aside to let the employee through, however, her apologies were met by a nasty unprofessional attitude who told her to watch where she was going and move out of the way. I'm appalled at this behavior and treatment of customers. He did not even to bother apologizing on the way back and speedily walked past us on his phone.

Horrible self-service experience; I've read other one star reviews here and it seems to be the same old lady at the self checkout. She was aggressive and extremely rude to me and my partner- asking if we were planning to pay for other items (after paying for our LARGE shop so I don't know why we'd steal chocolate) for our other items. I said no, we bought them from Big W for Fathers Day and pointed to the shirt with the BIG W label, but if she was so worried she could check the camera as we walked in with them. I understand she was doing her job to ask for a receipt, but we did not have one since we went paperless with the rewards card. She made me leave my partner to go to Big W to get a receipt to show her and in that time let other people (old) without receipts were allowed to go. When I got to Big W they told me that she couldve checked the receipt on the rewards card her self instead of sending me away. I believe it was discriminatory since we are a young couple and am truly outraged that she didn't care about others but was so rude to us. Old lady, with a bob haircut and glasses; 5pm on 30/8/23

Today was the third time in woollies rockdale that I need to deal with an aggressive and rude old lady. She suspected me not paying for a bag of nappy last time and ask me to show her receipt, fine, I understand that was her job so I showed her step by step patiently with the digital receipt on the app and the item was there. She doesn't seem to understand how the digital receipt works on the app, and kept asking where is it, where is it A FEW TIMES while I was reaching the page. And today, I was doing self checkout. I have 6 tins of formula and some of other products in my cart. Then she stepped in and questioned me, how many tins do you have. I said 6. She says you can't buy 6. And I said, that's okay, how many can I get? 4? She didn't reply and kept saying you can't get this much. And then she scanned for me, the system showing 6 tins with no issue. And she seemed not happy with the system allow me buying, then she says, 'ARE YOU SENDING THEM OVERSEAS?' I said to her firmly, 'I HAVE A BABY' I was very angry at the moment. I would like to cope with the policy if there is a limit of buying furmula, even there is no signs or post inside of the shop stating so. However, this lady's unprofessional and discrimatory behavior made me very upset.

Absolutely appalling service. i will never waste another cent in that store after asking for assistance on one of there many machines that dont work then having one of the rudest women speak down to me when i disturbed her from doing nothing..Shame on you Woolworths for emloying people with no manners and not teaching your staff the right way to talk to customer's. If i could have given no stars i would have as this store doesn't deserve them at all SHAME ON YOU ROCKDALE WOOLWORTHS... SHAME ON YOU...

Well I'm not a huge fan of Coles or Woolworths possibly their both doing me a favour!! I need to loose weight in the new year so if I just patronise my local fruit shop then that will happen!! I'm going fruit and veg in the new year coles & Woolworths always overpriced

I was so pleased with the service I received from this woolies. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect item. Azay who serve us in deli was really amazing.

Busy at certain times but convenient layout. Main issue is there is no cellphone reception so can't make or receive calls whilst in the store. Friendly staff.
