Over priced with strange smell of kebabs. The kobideh is salty. The rice is not a chelo and it is a kateh, which is not suitable for a fancy restaurant. The staff were accommodating and professional. The ambience is somehow fancy and classy. The only positive is the service and friendly staff.

Will definitely be back !! What a nice tucked away restaurant in top ryde. I live close by in Eastwood and always come past thinking I need To go there one day and try it . And I'm definitely glad I did ! Food was amazing . So much flavour and i almost ate my fingers multiple times I enjoyed it that much . I ordered a masto khiar and a Kase kebab . They also give a complimentary starter of two little cheese circles . I'm not exactly sure what they are but I could just eat them on there own for dinner . Will be coming back for sure . And I will be telling everyone to come to this beautiful little place. Thank you

Great ambience, wonderful staff and good variety of Persian food. Parking is available opposite the restaurant. The lamb neck is a must order. Stay away from the kebabs - order the more unique items as the kebabs are middle of the road. The persian ice cream was good and the eggplant appetizer unique. Appreciated the free bread and cheese. Reckon you can get better kebabs at much lower prices - 4 stars from me

Just popped up without booking. But we were treated very well. We tried the chicken (joojeh) kebab and koonideh kebab and they were very good, great portions and reasonable price. Mast moosir was very fresh and yum. Free cheese and bread is also served for every table. Will visit there again for sure.

Kinda like Persian Hobbit Hall as you enter the arch wooden door. Nice atmosphere and good service. Had Fesenjan, Farsi special BBQ platter (chicken, beef and lamb) and Zereshk Polo Ba Morgh (saffron rice mixedwith barberries, pistachios and almonds with slow cooked chicken). For the BBQ platter, we opted for salad instead of rice (it was nice to have the option). Overall food quality was good and will definitely return for trying out other dishes.

We walked in and the lady advised us that the restaurant was closing at 9.30pm but she was kind enough to extend an extra 15mins for us to enjoy our meal so we had an hour. The food came and the dips were really nice. It went well with the bread. When the "Farsi Special" dish came, it was nicely presented. However, the chicken was a tad dry so we mixed it with the dips that we ordered. The rice wasn't what we expected. There's not that many Persian restaurants in Sydney so it's not hard to tell. Wasn't sure whether they were rushing the dish because they were closing or if this was how they cooked it. The rice at "Surena Persian restaurant" (at Hornsby) had more saffron in it and literally just melted in your mouth. The rice here wasn't as good which was a disappointment. The grains were larger and needed more saffron and butter.

The greatest persian food I tasted so far. I love the Barley Ash soup. The serving is like a feast for me. Price is just right. Definitely will come back for the food.

Visiting from Italy, we went there to have lunch with family. Everything was good apart from my main dish which was Koobideh. Surprisingly it tasted like nothing!!! I kept adding salt and pepper and sumac but no luck!!! I think the meat they use is not the best!!! The staff was friendly and the service was fast! The portions were huge!!!

What a delicious place. Highly recommend! Everything was really good, tasty and memorable. I would like to try different kebabs next time so we would definitely go back. This balance is getting busy in the evening so make sure to book a table in advance.

Food was so delicious!! We went for Iftaari and enjoyed their $15pp platter very much. We also had the eggplant entree and meatballs. Service was very friendly and we will be back again!

Soft Persian music in background, cosy interior and tasty food. Overall great ambience. While the alley-entrance seems dark and obscure (Take care when the path is wet), it also serves as a mysterious gateway to a wholesome Persian dining experience. Love the yellow rice dish with three different kind of meats and the tea with spices that comes with a rock sugar stick stirrer and a candle below to keep it warm throughout dinner. Parking available on street or at Top Ryde Shopping center. From there, it is only 5 minutes walk.

A great night, staff are so lovely. Mahsa who was serving our table was so lovely. I had the vegetarian/vegan fesenjoon and it was so delicious and fresh. The saffron rice was yum. Thank you for creating such a beautiful experience for us. God bless

We visit the Farsi Restaurant today for first time. My family and I from Melbourne and look at the google to find the best Persian restaurant and we found the Farsi Restaurant. Came here around 6 and there was zero crowd. A bright red lighted entrance lead us in. The customer service was good and the staff took care of us. The food was quite average but filling. The meatballs had a very weird flavour and didn't taste much like meat. Our meals were way overpriced like the special. The atmosphere was quiet and oldish vibes. Otherwise a ok place for dinner.

👍👍 The best spot for biryani in Hyderabad. People say Bawarchi & Paradise but Mehfil has its own flavour. The restaurant is not so upscale and always fil...
