Online menu different to in pub prices. Not updated yet. Add about $3-$5 on price. They don’t honour online price. Which legally they should (false advertising). Pizzas around $24. Very pricey and not the best service from what seemed like the kitchen manager, older man. Gluten-free base really bad.

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious. All the usual pub favourites and fantastic pizzas make this is great destination for a family dinner or get together with some friends. The balcony area is awesome too.

I ordered the fish and chips. Unfortunately, one piece of fish was way overcooked, the other piece ha many small bones in it. My three companions were pleased with their meals. A nice atmosphere on a cold and wet day.

Good evening. People having fun. Dinner was delicious but the table was way too small for three people near the scene. We had hard time to be comfortable and eat well. It was a birthday celebration and that was not what we were hoping for. A bigger table with proper chairs and the night would have been perfect. But it’s been now three times we go there and the atmosphere is always positive.

Great venue, great food, great night until minutes before closing when security treated every patron like they had started a bar room brawl, walking through the hotel aggressively telling people to get up out of their chair and get out "quote". Rude, aggressive behaviour with compliant patrons speaking to women no differently to a troublesome drunk, to the point where they seemed to want trouble. This is obviously tactics that are supported and condoned by management of the venue wrecking the whole night and customer experience. I understand that at times people are hard to move along but this was over the top unwarranted behaviour.

A full menu was on offer with a separate children's menu. Pleasant surroundings and good staff. Also provides a large off street parking area. An enjoyable lunch.

If you’ve not been to this Gem of a pub, you should do yourself a favour, and head over for a meal and a drink. Great atmosphere, food is superb, and staff are fantastic

The Oatley was a good experience. We participated as a band at Ajay’s Band Night and enjoyed the venue. The food was good quality and, given the crowd, served in reasonable time.

Have to say I wasn't looking forward to eating lunch at a pub as usually they are overrated and overpriced. But I was really pleasantly surprised to find a simple menu with average prices and excellent food!.... I had the Octopus and although I could of done without the sweet chilli sauce (sure it said ginger n something 🙄) it was cooked to perfection and a decent size. The garlic pizza was to die for and the other dishes looked great. Chips erred tasty and I tried the fried fish which is usually hideous and it was excellent 👌 Definitely go back again with my folks who live nearby. Great inside too but the outside is excellent for summer!!!

This is a great pub/hotel to sit down with friends or family alike for a nice cold beverage and excellent food options the meals are decent sizes and can be quite filling. Be weary though as this place is booked out regularly upstairs and in the beer garden! There is generally enough seating for walk ins too though and the renovations have just made this place lovely.

Numerous distinct gathering areas of a size for groups. I'm impressed. Parking nearby the pub, I was lucky and got one out front. Quick decent food food. Classy, spacious, ill be back ( no photos, work gathering)

Great pub for just a beer, to watch the footy or have an event. Staff are friendly and service is good. Drink prices aren't the best BUT they charge a merchant fee on-top of the prices so bring cash if you're on a budget. Food is always good quality and comes fairly quick, prices are alright for the area. Trivia on a Thursday night is always a good time.

Overall a nice local pub to go for lunch. Bar staff were pretty friendly and helpful when asked about the beer options on tap. Food was also pretty good too and generous portions offered.

The pub itself was a good atmosphere, food was good.Service was good, music was good with the Jellybean Jam playing. The total vibe the security gave off was disgusting, man handling a female to throw her out what seemed for nothing. Also the guards inside just standing vaping all night indoors next to the dance floor, not sure this is even allowed under licensing laws. Then come the end of the night and security acting very aggressively towards the patrons.Even to go as far as approx 6-8 outside walking down the street as far as 2 blocks, like a pack of wild animals looking to start a war with a few 60 year old patrons. Well done boys, your mothers would be proud of you....... Won't be going back there...........

I recently visited Oatley hotel with my office colleague's, friends and, unfortunately, had an unexpected experience. Despite being enjoying my time there respectfully, I was asked to leave without a clear reason.(is that because I’m not an Australian?) The ambiance and drinks have always been commendable. However, this recent incident left me puzzled and somewhat disappointed. It's crucial for a pub to communicate clearly with customers, especially when asking them to leave. I hope this was an isolated incident, Transparency and communication are essential for maintaining a positive customer experience, and I trust [Oatley Hotel ] will address and rectify this matter accordingly.

The constant surveillance at night is a bit much. People could be drinking water having not had any alcohol prior and yet the security will still be constantly watching like a prison. That said I love the atmosphere and I’ll certainly find myself here again at some point. Really nicely built and a gorgeous atmosphere, perfect to kick back and watch the footy. Please inform your security to stop inspecting and staring at people at tables all the time for folks who don’t even drink as it’s a bit much guys and ruins the atmosphere. It seems many reviews have already said this. It really has the potential to be a 5 if not for this.

Seriously? Had no issues ordering my meal (Takeaway). Staff were friendly and told me my food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I sat down at the small table right in front of the service desk of the kitchen facing towards it.. 30 minutes go by and I make eye contact multiple times with the young girl who took my order thinking she would put 2 and 2 together that I am still waiting here for my food. 1 hour goes by and I am now standing in front of the service desk of the kitchen. The young gentlemen then asks me what he can do for me. I asked nicely if my takeaway order was ready and that I had been waiting for a pretty long time. He asks what the name on the order was and goes looking. Comes straight back with my bag of cold soggy food that had been sitting on the table somewhere in the back for 30 minutes. He apologised and told me that people making takeaway orders must come to the counter to see when there food is ready. I told him I have been sitting less than 2.5 metres away and what the name on my order was. No chance I was sending the food back and waiting another hour.

Very nicely renovated hotel offering numerous seating areas both indoors and outdoors. The craft beer offerings on tap are limited but OK. The food menu is quite expansive offering a wide range of pizzas and pub favourites plus a few others. The food at our table was well cooked, tasty and nicely presented.

Popped in for lunch. First time. Spacious. Plenty of outdoor seating. Ordered the jumbo beef burger as that seemed the most popular item coming out. Overall good.

Cool place to hang out, few levels with different atmosphere. Modern, cozy, spacious - indoor and outdoor seatings. Love the food and great with big groups!

It's a really nice pub, bar service in the beer garden was very slow though, easier and quicker to go downstairs to the main bar. Berr garden itself was really nice and would be a great place for a weekend get together.

Attended trivia night on a Thursday night, very entertaining. Food was good. However, the smell of cigarettes wofting in from outside was a definite spoiler which they really need to do something about!

Nice outdoor area, chill vibes with music. Large groups can be accommodated. Perfect for a team lunch or family event. Food is nothing special.

Excellent bistro that is well worth visiting. The rest of the hotel is warm and inviting. An air of old suburban pub - without the green and yellow tiles!

Ordered a Long Island Iced Tea from their cocktail menu. Watched the bartender put one shot of rum and one shot of Cointreau, topped with coke. Other than that, had a decent time.

I am very disappointed with the customer service at The Oatley Hotel. I was repeatedly spoken down upon by young people who had inadequate social skills to be in an industry which is centred around people. I highly recommend The Como Hotel bar over Oatley, as the Como pub staff have always been kind, jovial, and intentional to visit with their staff. I will not be going back to The Oatley Hotel until there are some changes.

Have done a great job with the renovations. Food was really good despite being super busy it arrived in a reasonable time and was lovely. We had a table of 20 and everyone was impressed.

Great local pub for a decent feed and good selection of beers on tap. They’ve renovated the outdoor area which is perfect for a Friday night or Saturday lunch. Parmies are also extra generous and good value for money
