If I can give zero star I would. We came for lunch and took order and wait for 20 minutes and found our next seat that came after us already get their order. The food only have 2 pieces of slice pork, didn't finish the food. One time is enough

Update (as at 24/02/22): YES to ramen A senior work colleague invited me to his favourite joint and surprise, it was michi! I was pleasantly surprised how good the michi ramen. Good flavoured broth, veggies, springy ramen noodles and tender chashu 🤤 I loved the side of chilli jam which I added halfway through my meal. Yes, I would come back to try their other ramen offerings and have bumped up their rating by a star~🍜🍜 17/02/22: TLDR - the bento is a NO The bento box was average tasting but a large sized portion. However, I was more peeved that the service was sloppy. As you can see if the photo, they forgot to give us miso soup (I.e. me and my other friend who ordered a bento). Additionally, my friend’s water had black specks in it. I liked the variety contained within the bento box, however, I didn’t find any particular element to taste great. For the price ($24), this was not value for money. Based on other google reviews and my friend’s opinion, I would probably come here again to try the ramen. Perhaps my expectations were too high, as I left full but disappointed.

Really bad service. I wish I had the opportunity to even try their ramen, but they took about one hour and a half and we still have not received our order. When we asked about it, they told us it would be 2 minutes.. and nothing. They had already charged us and we needed to go. It took them a while to give back our money too. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

This place serves authentic Japanese food at decent prices ranging around $15 to $25 for a main. The service is friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant which lends itself to a great setting for a romantic date or a catch up with a few friends.

Great place for a quick bite. I was craving for Ramen, but they didn’t have any vegetarian option :( The food was really nice, staff is very friendly, the place is cosy and clean.

Amazing Ramen!! We had the Char Siu ramen and an extra egg of course hehe the broth was flavoursome and delicious, the pork belly was so tender and fatty. Loved it! Be sure to go a bit early if you're heading there for lunch. It can get really busy but totally worth the wait ?

Very popular and well kept japanese restaurant - and it's easy to see why. Ramen is definitely what you should try if you are there, consistency is just right and is very flavourful! The prices are reasonable for its location too which is nice. Food came out quick and staff were also very warm and accommodating. Definitely a place to come for ramen if you're in the area 🍜

Despite its seemingly more plain look compared to other ramen, their chicken based broth ramen is packed full of flavour with a 'clearer' taste making it both enjoyable and light. Love the chilli oil side too. Also tried the spicy ramen and beware it is indeed quite spicy! Service was good and they have outdoor seating to be enjoyed on a pleasant day.

The one star is for the location of this restaurant. Nothing I would recommend other than that! The service was poor, the ramen noodles were just frozen noodles from supermarket. I had been to a lot of Ramen places in Sydney, the one in the food court could be better than this. This place is overrated!

Awesome ramen, full of deep real flavour, you can taste that this is a real homemade tonkotsu. Doesn’t taste like any MSG seemed Thank you be used, which is great. Also the price range is affordable and reasonable. My only suggestion would be to add some Gyoza on your menu, it is a little unfortunate to find such good Izakaya/restaurant and not to have any delicious pan fried gyoza to eat as a side wish or with a drink :-)

Serve delicious ramen. Pretty busy for work day lunch but counter table was prefect. Ordered the Michi Ramen with chilli on the side. Just perfection.

Tasty food, great atmosphere. Just the right amount of busy for a weeknight feed. Thoroughly enjoyed the salmon & katsu bentu boxes, umeshi & cold sake and will definitely be back to try the ramen.

Great little restaurant! Delicious aburi salmon sushi and all of its ramen is made with chicken stock. The Wagyu beef bento box was massive, and the beef was nice and succulent.

Had michi ramen, wouldn't say it is spectacular good but reasonably good. Ramen noodle texture is excellent and so was the cha siu. Ramen broth is okay. Service was exceptional.

Tried the lamb skewers special, tasty, soft and juicy! Sake was lovely, w a citrusy taste and the spicy ramen... loved the broth and condiments. Friendly and attentive service crew and a relaxed atmosphere.. what more...

Maybe they are good for ramen only? We went there for dinner and got a range of other options (small dishes through to the larger wagyu plate - no ramen). Overall, it was ok. For the amount we paid, it probably worst worth it in my opinion. If it were slightly cheaper, this would be a great place. The meat dish was $38. It should be around $30. In my opinion of course. Others cold have thought otherwise. Generally, a decent place though. Worth a try if you are feeling decent Japanese food and are around the area.

good ramen, good vibes. had their signature michi ramen $16.8 and i was thinking of any flaws with this dish but there wasn't! the only thing i wish is for this place to trade on the weekend too.

Best ramen in wynyard (but not as good as those in Townhall). Best value items are the bento box meals.

Had the garlic ramen for $18 lunchtime. Waited about 15 mins to prepare. Broth was tasty, though serving size and pork portion could be a little bigger

Had lunch with my girlfriends and we absolutely loved the food, was delicious. The staffs are so nice and did the best to find a perfect table for us. I will definitely be there again. Try the bento 🍱😍. I had the Teriyaki Salmon. 😋😁 Thank you very much. Arigato.

Had the pork chasu and ramen. Just note that Australian pork does have a little odour. Otherwise a great addition to the CBD

Consistently excellent! Food tastes clean and fresh. Vegetable curry is an excellent light choice, although they use oyster sauce with it, so probably not good for vegetarians - it does make it a tasty vegetable dish for everyone else though. Bento Boxes are really good too - generous portions.

Small restaurant on a quieter street. Nice service. The salmon sashimi was so creamy and tasty. The ramen was heartwarming, broth was not salty yet flavoursm. Thick pieces of braised pork belly (not your typical char siu in a roll). The pork belly has more fat than meat though. Generous portion of noodles and condiments. Worth a try

I came here for a catch-up with a friend over a few beers and some food that go with alcohol. The menu has a decent range of Japanese beers and a good range of food choices from ramen to some premium cuts of beef. I went with the following: - Soft Shell Crab - dressed in a sweet soy sauce but I found it a bit too salty - Wagyu Flap Meat Yakiniku - top quality meat in 5mm thick slices but I would prefer them to be thicker because some slices are overcooked - Chashu Ramen - tender pieces of pork on an above average broth Overall, the place is nicely decked out with really good lighting. I like the quality of the ingredients used, but the seasoning can be a bit heavy handed.

Craving for ramen and randomly found this place. Veey rich yummy tonkatsu soup. Only 2 slices of meat though.

Service was also amazing. My boss commented that one of the tables got served faster than the other (we had a private room with multiple tables). Waitstaff can’t help if some people eat faster than others! Will go again for another special occasion. I was last here more than ten years ago and it was amazing then and it’s still amazing now. First time was to celebrate my sister’s pregnancy; they actually modified all the dishes she couldn’t eat into something more appetizing than what the non-pregnant people were having. This time around, it was a work function. The dishes were still outstanding. The criticism that most make is that the dishes are not as impressive as when they first came out; others have caught up. That’s not negative to me. Their standard is still high.

After a long day exploring Sydney, found this lovely restaurant near our hotel. We had the salt and pepper chicken wings to share, a bento box and chicken bowl with a few Asahi beers and left full and happy with our choices. The food was fresh, tasty and the service prompt and efficient. Highly recommend.

Looking for dinner near our hotel and reception recommended Michi Isakaya! We weren’t disappointed from the friendly staff to the food in this authentic Japanese Isakaya! We dined on chili edamame, karaage chicken and some sashimi while enjoying a drink of umeshu and asahi! The main course was the ramen and we’d revisit just for another bowl! Arigato gozaimasu!

THE BEST RAMEN IN SYDNEY. I've been looking for good ramen since I came to Australia last year and I usually failed. The noodles I tried in other restaurants are soggy, the soup was transparent, meaning not so thick. But, the Chashu ramen I tried in this restaurant was the best in terms of, 1. the broth: thick with various flavor such as pork and katsuobushi. 2. noodle: perfect. Elastic, chewy and fresh 3. the pork: the perfect proportion of the fat and the flesh and of course, fresh The interior was also good. I don't remember the service because when I first tried the ramen, I forgot everything... I'm so glad I found it... Planning to visit there again this coming Friday to try Sashimi and Sake. I reiterate, THE BEST RAMEN IN SYDNEY

I tried it after reading good reviews and I must say it was readlly good. The price is a just right for the restaurant, it's service, the coziness and the portion of the food. I would love tohave other choices on the bento sides but that's ok. overall, it's a quiet place and it's perfect to meet a few friends for some catching up.

Had the Michi ramen and a karaage chicken. Service was very good and the restaurant well presented. However the food was very disappointing. The ramen flavour was very average. The karaage chicken was pre cooked and when served, wasn't even hot. You would think they would make it fresh.

(Translated by Google) A Japanese izakaya in the center of Sydney. Although it promotes ramen, it is a beautiful izakaya where you can also enjoy sashimi and sake, so it is full of Japanese people who return home from the company, Asian people who like Japanese food, and Aussie. Ramen is a broth that has the flavor of boiled and dried. It is delicious as a ramen shop, and it has half size so you can enjoy it as a shimen ramen after enjoying alcohol or cooking. The clerks are mostly Japanese and speak Japanese. It is a short walk away from Vineyard Station and has good access and is recommended.

(Translated by Google) I went to the store because I knew it was a store from the Ashiya family. Ramen was quite delicious, but I was disappointed with the dessert chilliness. The one that came out was a raw lukewarm eggplant that was just taken out of the can. It was not a terrible thing, with a small coconut in a very small bowl that was very different from the photo on the menu, with 3 small white balls and 1/8 sliced cocoons on top. Japanese restaurants usually change to Chinese and Korean owners, but is this the case? The owner can be from either country, but I would like you to know the menu items carefully.

Great food, reasonably priced. I had the Michi Ramen which was very tasty but the miso eggplant was the standout dish. The namban and chilly wings were decent. Beacuse we ate before 6.30pm, we were given complimentary edamame with our drinks. Would definitely be back.
