I write this review with a heavy heart and a sense of duty towards other parents who may be considering entrusting their child's well-being to Dr. Mohammad Sharier at the Gentle Procedures Clinic in Revesby. Upon arrival, we were shown into a surgical room with two blue chairs and told to wait. The atmosphere was sterile and cold, a direct reflection of the care and attention we received. When the doctor finally arrived, his demeanor was dismissive and indifferent, as though he had better places to be. As concerned parents, we had a list of questions and concerns, to which he responded with a nonchalant suggestion to 'just go on the website.' This response struck me as incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. We had already done our research and were seeking personalized advice and reassurance from a medical professional, not a referral to a generic website. The consultation fee of $100 felt exorbitant for the level of care and consideration we received. It's not the fee but the lack of value and compassion that stung. What was even more alarming was that upon further research, we discovered that this doctor had recently been in court for a grave mistake: “ left a six-day old baby in intensive care after they were given a potentially fatal opioid dose - which he mistook for children’s Panadol” - following a medical procedure. This is not a simple oversight but a critical error that could have had catastrophic consequences. It's terrifying to think that a well-respected doctor could make such a mistake. Trust, once broken, is hard to restore. While Dr. Sharier may have had a history of good work, this incident has shaken our confidence in his practice. This is not to claim that he isn't an adept circumcision doctor, but his recent actions have shown a significant lapse in judgment and responsibility. We had a surgical appointment scheduled for this Friday, but we've decided to cancel. We cannot, in good conscience, entrust our child's safety to someone who has demonstrated such a lack of care and professionalism. I urge all parents to do their research and make an informed decision about who they trust with their child's health.

The doctor, receptionists and nurses are very professional and the environment is very pleasant. I did circumcision of my son two weeks ago when he was 4 weeks old. This is our first son and we were very nervous. The stuffs and the doctor clearly explained every steps, how the operate, how safe it is. They handled my son very carefully and hence, my son also didn’t cry during the procedure. They also advices us how to handle the child in the next couple of days. Doctor also did follow up next day and a week later. Now, it’s almost two weeks and my son is doing pretty well and the outcome of the circumcision looks awesome. I do strongly recommend this place to parents to have circumcision of their sons.

I have a 5 years old boy and I wanted to get him circumcised. As he was already old enough , he needed lots of child friendly education to be provided by the doctor. The doctor was very good at engaging with my 5 year old, explaining him in simple language about the procedure and reassuring the child. On the day of the surgery and during the procedure , my 5 year old son was able to go through the whole process without much distress. Recovery was quick and smooth. Other staff including the reception staff were very professional and child friendly. I received follow up calls from the surgery and also from the doctor himself. I would strongly recommend other parents to choose this practice when they need such kind of surgery for their son.

Best place to choose for a circumcision, very professional nurses and staff, friendly and understanding, Dr Sharier is very professional and he knows what he's doing, he's quick and very confident while doing the circumcision which makes the parents feel at ease. We visited the clinic last Saturday for our son's circumcision and we were very happy and glad that we chose gentle procedures clinic, the baby didn't feel any pain and the whole thing went very smoothly. The nurses will also show you a video for the aftercare and the one of the best things is that they will give you a follow up call the next day or the one after to check that everything is good. Thank you very much for your professionalism and I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know.

Had my sons circumcision yesterday with Dr Mohammed Sharier. Im very happy with results, procedure was quick and painless for my son. Very professional and friendly. Makes you feel welcome and calm. Our experience was terrible. My partner drove a fair distance to see the doctor and on arrival the reception looked very unprofessional and eary. My partner was sent to a room to wait for doctor Mohammad. When he arrived he was very blunt and straight to examine my baby. It took him a whole 5 seconds off inspecting too which he replied nope he won’t do it because our baby was to fat. My partner in shock then went on to say can we come back in a couple off weeks to then he replied “no, the baby will be to alert and he will cry. I don’t want crying babies in my clinic.” No guidance or compassion at all. Typical really…

Wasn’t happy with the service here from the receptionist to the nurse or the dr. Very disappointed and feeling let down as I was misled into taking my son to this place. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews on google. Was nothing like I read about, they are rude and treat you as just another number. Oh and don’t expect to get any after care other then a lousy phone call for not even 1 minute. And if you have any concerns send of a image and get replied with “allgood”. Big regret going to this place for sure.

Had my son circumsiced in this clinic. Everything about this clinic was absolutely outstanding. My son didn’t even cry or bleed during the operation. I really recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to circumsice.

"Gentle" lol sure you are! The so called "Doctor" is extremely arrogant! And my opinion lacking knowledge. Has no regard for the parents of the child. As you walk in you're greeted by "Can you pay $400 and fill out this form". After that expect the receptionist/doctor's assistant to lead you to a room telling you watch this video, all the while you have anxiety listening to the poor baby in the next room sounding like his soul is coming out. We took our money back and went straight to Dr Khalid Qidwai croydon park. Now me and my wife couldn't be happier he has 45 years experience and our baby was very comfortable!

Excellent service!! I took my son to this clinic for Circumcision Dr Mohammad Shaier was great. after the surgery 3 days later i received a phone call from Dr, Mohammad for follow up . its almost one week now my son %95 recovered i personally recommend Dr Mohammad for kids.

Terrible experience! Don’t recommend unless you want a rude doctor with no compassion or care. Grateful we didn’t end up getting the procedure done in this practice. Went elsewhere and had an amazing experience and extremely happy with the result for our son.

Had my third son's circumcision here. I've had a different Dr with each son and Dr Sharier was definitely our favourite. The nurses and receptionists are friendly, prompt and professional and assisted me with any questions I had. Dr Sharier is very gentle with the procedure and provided us with enough information to safely care for our son after the procedure. The actual procedure was stress free. My son did not cry at all and the addition of the sucrose dummy and white noise helped calm baby. When the anaesthetic needle wore off after I came home, baby cried a little and Panadol was enough to comfort him and the next day he was fine. We are now 1 week post procedure and all is healing well. Thankyou Dr and team!

My son did his circumcision here. He didn't cry at all. Aftercare was easy. It has healed perfectly in less than 10 days. Clinic is clean. Receptionists were professionl and friendly. Dr Sharia was able to reduce my anxiety about the procedure.

Excellent service for the kids. They described the whole procedure through the video clips before circumcision my son which was very helpful to follow the clear guidelines after the circumcision. Moreover, the method is comparatively less painful and quick. A bit expensive but less pain for the kids which is worth. The doctor is very experienced and friendly. Highly recommended for the kids.

Dr Sharier has a no-nonsense approach, and is very efficient in ensuring the patients concerns are addressed. He performed a circumcision in my older son, who had it recommended by our GP, and did a great job in reassuring him throughout the process. The procedure was over quickly, we had several follow up appointments included in the cost to ensure proper healing and the practice is very clean and hygienic. Couldn't ask for more when seeing a medical practitioner to perform a very personal procedure on an anxious child in a delicate area.

Dr Mohammad is such a pleasant doctor to perform our sons procedure . He was so easy to talk to and our son did not feel any pain during the procedure . The nurses are also great as they answered all our questions and followed up with a phone call the very next morning .

Rude manners and immediately gave up once seeing my son he told me he is moving alot and not listening I tried to convince him that he is a child he said no I don’t do the surgery for him bring him back in 2 years I will never go to that place

As an adult male 47y.o I had lots to gain and lots of personal fears about the moment and possible complications and result of this procedure. In the actual surgery, there was minimal/no pain, and you just feel like something is non-descript is happening and then it’s done in 5-minutes. It’s super professional. Text confirmations and reminders for every visit. The clinic is run on time, and you are into your procedure within 5-mins of arriving every time. I am so happy with the result. With a forecast healing time of 5-6 weeks it healed in 3-weeks. And it turned out functionally and aesthetically perfect. It was a minor annoyance with night-time male usual functions but, it was progressively less for about 10-days, particularly overnight. I was back to an office job in 2-days but walking bow-legged for a few days for precaution. The clinic is super professional from the front office staff checking in with you along the way to Dr. Sharier being available on text to see photo's, give advice, next steps and give confidence. Any text message from me to the Dr. was answered on the same day. I'm not sure what device is used for the surgery as I wasn't willing to look at the time but, seeing how clean the result is, I was YouTubing some options and it is likely one of the new ones that gets it done with the pull of a trigger and minimal bleeding. I had one drop of blood in the gauze the day of the procedure and it heals super clean when following the paper guide of directions provided. One tip - bathe it all in a salt jug, instead of a salt bath in a full bathtub. I don't live near the clinic, and I started out just Googling options of where to get this done. I concluded that based on annual volume of patients, specialist qualifications/interest and reviews this was a better option than Northern Sydney where this procedure would be lower volume and not as specialised. I knew up-front that it was local anaesthesia as opposed to general but, I did not get how easy, painless and clean it actually turned out. From where I started to where I ended, I recommend this business for this procedure.

I have found Dr Sharier & his team very professional and they know what they are doing. Dr Sharier was very confident while doing the circumcisions which made us feel at ease as parents.
