Muy interesante lugar, el guía es opcional y solo 100 Bs. Si es grupal mejor ahí se reparten los costos. La parte del mercado o cancha donde las personas se reunían antes en un bonito lugar para sacarse fotos en el árbol de pacay que se centra al centro. Ahí adentro vendré refrigerio y comida también cuenta con baños. Excelente lugar para conocerlo e ir en familia

They close 4:30pm we arrived 4:37pm because there were some works on the road that delayed us and they didn't let us in.. I understand the position but there was nobody else trying to go in or anything, we were the only ones in the park so we thought the woman could've done a small exception.. we just paid the taxi 100 Bolivianos for nothing..

Un lugar lleno de historia de antiguas culturas incas, su territorio era extenso llegando hasta esta parte del territorio boliviano (Santa Cruz de la Sierra) plasmando su existencia en el tallado de una roca. El acceso hasta el Fuerte es rústico y se puede llegar con automóvil, realizas la compra de tu entrada y comienzas a realizar Trekkinn en un ambiente rodeado de mucha naturaleza, claro además de lo más importante del lugar que son las ruinas.

Para quem está em Santa Cruz, este é um lugar que não podemos perder, a cidade é linda, muito receptiva, pegamos a van na “Salida para Samaipata” em Santa Cruz são 60 bolivianos ida e volta, daí da cidade para as ruínas são mais 20 bolivianos e a entrada para as ruínas são 50 bolivianos sem guia, mas tem placas explicativas em todo lugar, e gente que história, é fantástico, recomendo estudar um pouco antes de ir 😘

Definitivamente una visita obligatoria. La fuerza, energía y magia del lugar es muy imponente. En un marco de misterio y habilidad en ingeniería uno no deja de estar sorprendido en ningún momento durante el recorrido. Patrimonio universal.

This is one of the a very new placed and still not discovered all places ancient Inca city. Yes it’s in Bolivia and very close to Santa Cruz dela Sierra. Samaipata El Fuerte, free parking, fees different for citizens and noncitizens. 25-50 Bolivians. If you’re in hurry you can visit all place in 2 hours otherwise you can spend all day. There is a restaurant in the entrance and all facilities. You have to see the Rock it’s worth to see it.

Don't miss this place if you are in Samaipata. If you take a taxi from town, they will wait for you for a maximum of 2 hours while you visit the site. In my opinion it is definitely not enough to visit and enjoy the place. Next time I would agree with the taxi driver to leave and come back if I call him via WhatsApp.

Another reason Samaipata can’t be a day trip

Clean, well maintain. It is a nice drive. The tour is around 1 hour. Tour guide was very helpful.

A nice place to visit if youre in samaipata, although i think the foreigner price is quite high for what you get..
