    This hospital is the worst hospital around! They don't care about people and literally give an attitude to everyone. When there, you'll probably wait about 3-4 hours just to tell you that you're fine. I will never bring anyone to this hospital. They need shut down.

    Horrible a very close friend of mine was brought by ambulance 🚑. We get there he is already in a room she say he wasn't she was very rude, disrespectful and just cold. If you are going to work in a medical field you need to have respect, remorse, and just plain manners! I give this hospital 🏥 a 0 .

    Been here for 2 hours, with husband double over, and a young patient comes in her less than 5 minutes and they take her back, said she was about to fall out of her chair. No she wasn't I seen here she just need to lay her head back.

    I was in for a kidney problem. Then when served lunch one day had a heart attack. The lady bringing in my lunch called nurse and stayed to keep me calm until help came. The staff in this hospital from Docs to cleaning staff is amazing. Never in hundreds of appointments or stays had a bad experience.

    Been here for 2 hours now still waiting in the back to see a dr having pain down my right arm and tingleing and numbness in my fingers hurts bad its scaring me they came in to do registration asked if i had insurance i said no that was a hour ago act like they dont care if u have no insurance ...my fiance is having bad back pain two doors down they havent even came in to check him at all worst hospital ever they dont evej care about the patients ..last time we came i was in here for over 8 hours to be told i was fine

    My husband was recently here for a stress test. During his test, he had an anxiety attack & the tech tending to him proceeded to tell him "you're doing this to yourself"!! He was treated very poorly during his visit (no compassion) & this hospital should take notice & action regarding how their employees treat patients. How would you like your loved ones treated in this manner? Healthcare has definitely taken a down turn since covid and would probably do better if you focused more on patient care than fancy plants in pots and parking lots.. It's very interesting that the only response from MMCS on these reviews is for positive reviews only! Very telling. Please do better. Please stop sending me surveys to fill out when y'all won't do a thing about your poor service. It's just a joke!

    This place is an absolute joke! They do not care about you or your well being. They are rude. I’ve never heard anything but bad experiences and i’ve never had anything but bad experiences! I live 3 minutes away but drive 45 min to an hour to the next nearest hospital.

    January 17/2023 we were in the Er @ Marshall Medical Ctr South for 10 hours . Yes I know that is a long time but they had a full house all rooms were full ambulances lined up at the ER doors the waiting room up front was so full .& the halls Lined with people waiting on a room I’m saying this to say my heart goes out to every Nurse , NP .Dr. & the ones in the lab . I’ve never seen anyone work any harder & remain so calm than this. Great group of Nurses ,Dr. NP when a lot of people were complaining they always gave that person a kind answer. but I understand when your sick you want help ASSP . So when you see them doing all they can do & moving as fast as there feet will go . Let them know you appreciate them #HARDWORKINGFOLKS@MMCS

    I wanted to give shout out to Dr.Georgia Gamble, she is absolutely AMAZING. I met her about a year ago and she has truly helped me. She has the best bedside manner and is so patient and informative. I wish every doctor at MMCS was like her. She truly needs an award, if it wasn’t for her I would still be suffering. You guys have now idea how lucky you are to have such an amazing doctor, from my experience she is hands down the best Doctor at MMCS.

    I encourage everyone too look at this hospitals US news health score ratings (poor rating ) how well the hospital prevents usually long stays that result in longer hospitazations that lead to or result in.complications..procedures and conditions related to cancer (poor rating)overall pneumonia score poor rating) heart attack (poor rating),joint commission survey results ,and the number of 1stars out of 5 ,this hospital has received,I will post this on multiple sites ,and spread the facts and warn the public. Look it up people

    Went in at 3am. Only a few there, got called back and testing went fast. Then sat for 2 hours which is ok because I herd an emergency in the hallway. But the worst part was the girl who discharged me came in with papers and literally said here's your discharge paper go to that hallway to get out. And that was It, ne er seen the dr again (Dr.Foley) and never got results or explanation of may have been wrong. Worst experience ever.and as someone who works for huntsville hospital, this is unacceptable.

    Everything was good except the Triage and I have never had such a bad experience my rating for triage would have to be 0 but the 5 I am giving is for everything else and I want to give my nurse up stairs a very special thanks he was wonderful and did a outstanding job his name is James please recognize him I feel he should get nurse of the month award

    Beware would not recommend! Waited about 4 hrs for the doctor to check out my son was worried because he had a bug in his ear but no one ever came to look at him left instead and went to Huntsville Beware! While I was thier 2 other people left stating the had be waiting over 4 hours

    I was taken care of very well by all the staff in Day Surgery and Surgery. Very friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned about my comfort well being. Thank you all from Dr Diel, Jennifer Welborn, April Hughes, Raeshel LeMasters, Johnny Wilson and the rest of the staff!!

    At least I was able to find out what was going on with my sinuses and why I didn't feel very good. It's because I've been fighting with my yearly bout of bronchitis, but this year's is really bad because it's not like what I usually get. This year's bronchitis is a much more serious type. I'm just glad it's being taken care of.

    This is a very nice hospital and they have excellent customer service and everyone that works there are extremely nice. The only thing about this hospital is that the cafeteria closes at 1pm and they don’t reopen until the next morning. Therefore if your going to be there for a long time, you better come prepared with a drink or something.

    HIPPA out the window! Old lady with cap speaking loudly to patients about their situation. Gonna say me helping someone that asked me to help is wrong but her actions are fine!! Asking a little girl when her last menstrual cycle was- (last month). A brunette haried lady blurting out people's business. A hispanic older lady asking questions loudly in spanish then giving answers out to other nurse in English. The person I was with, their urine sample sat on the counter for about an hour before they took it to get tested only after I said something. Another person's urine sample sat on the lobby counter for about 30 minutes. Hispanic people were ignored including us.. they didn't even put the person I was with in the system until I said something. Other indigenous people had been there since 10am and hadn't been seen until I pushed for them to be seen. I went to the bathroom that was in the ER room area. I had been holding it because the bathroom in the lobby was disgusting. Well this bathroom is like a gas station bathroom 🤢. It's just as bad if not worse. The room we were put in had not been cleaned. They just changed the sheet. There was things on the counters that was garbage from a previous patient. We got to the hospital around 3pm, 8:40 pm we are finally in a room. We left around midnight! Finally we were released only to say all was normal and they couldn't do more😡😡😡

    I’m there regularly in the phlebotomy lab. The registration staff is on top of things and the lab staff is great! The two young ladies doing the blood draw…well you would never even know she stuck you!

    Everyone at Marshall Medical Center South took really good care of me while I was admitted to the Hospital. Doctors, Nurses was so kind to me and Done a Awesome Job with taking care of me. The only thing that I can say is the food good have been better but they had me on a diet for no salt and I don't have a Heart trouble it was my Lungs cause of having a touch of pneumonia? But they took care of me with my problem and got to go home after 3nights in the Hospital. Thanks to everyone who was taking care of me while I was admitted to the Hospital.

    It was not very pleasant. My nurse was sitting on the desk at check in complaining about how sick she was and she didn't really want to be there. Then when we got to the room, she couldn't answer any questions that I had. She just said oh, you'll have to ask someone else, I don't know. I kept telling her that I was cold and she'd say oh, you'll get warm in a while. The first time I was in this facility I was very pleased with the care I received but not this time.

    My boyfriend was doing doordash and I was helping him with the order. The person that ordered doordash said to leave it at the ER office. We arrived at the front, no one was in line and my bf waited for the receptionist to turn but she was just chatting and he tried getting her attention and said “excuse me” 5 times and I tried to also get her attention but she continued to ignore and she never bothered to turn around and he tapped on the window and she turned around mad. And he said “I got a doordash order” and she said quote“I don’t care” and he asked her “you don’t care?” And she continued saying “no” and he proceeded to pull out the zaxbys food from the bag and he put the food and drink on the counter and she said “you can’t leave it there” with an extreme nasty attitude and he said back to her “I don’t care” he gave her the same energy and she didn’t like it. A rude receptionist makes a business look bad. she is a old lady

    My last visit to this facility was in 2006 when I was attending Snead State CC. In 2020 someone with my same first and last name visited their emergency room and somehow they managed to charge it on my profile. Sticking me with a bill for thousands of dollars that eventually negatively impacted my credit. I’ve tried for two weeks to get someone from the physician’s billing department to contact me to rectify the issue but they have been unresponsive. The process of applying a person’s bill to their account is a multilayered process and yet somehow they’ve managed to screw it up. My efforts to reach their physician’s billing department have been unsuccessful. The 2-3 times I have managed to get someone on the phone they had no clue what they were doing and were completely useless. Currently, I am having to use their debt collection agency as a way to contact someone who can efficiently do the job in which they are paid. They have been u responsive as well and not communicated effectively. I will be pursuing legal action against this matter as I am a veteran with ptsd and this has impacted me at the worst possible moment as I have started my own business. You would think simply applying a bill would be something a human employed by the hospital would be capable of but that appears to be a difficult task for this hospital. If I were considering a hospital and had an even remotely common name, I would stay far far away because if they mess up, they won’t be helping you with it.
