I love shopping at The Summit. It is easily accessible, has convenient parking and an awesome selection of restaurants and shops.

Love coming to the summit each time I visit Birmingham! It’s very picturesque and lots of shops and restaurants. It’s a moderate to high priced outdoor shopping mall. I often go to Trader Joe’s and the Cheesecake Factory. There’s a great view next to Chubbys Mexican restaurant. On Sunday all the restaurants are busy, the shops don’t normally open until noon. It’s a good time.

Great mall in Birmingham! It’s an outdoor mall with lots of different shops including lulu lemon, lush, Williams Sonoma, Sephora, belk, urban outfitters, anthropologie and lots more! There are many great dining options here. Some of the stores maybe far from each other so you may need to drive between some stores.

HEADS UP CHARTER AND TOUR BUS DRIVERS!! My team needed to grab a to go at Fruit Bowls. Over half the parking lot was empty where I was staged. I was told my bus took up too many spaces there. Only needed 15 min. I was bullied by 3 security guards, and told I had to park at REI which was 3 lots away. NO EXCEPTIONS! It's more about their "policy" then it is your passengers.

I am here to eat my dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I tasted a dish with a fancy name but I prefer to call it shrimp noodle.Overall, I satisfied with the service and the food I tasted so I tipped a lot to waitress. For this dish, the noodle and garlic sauce is a good combination. I tried to dip the bread into sauce and chop a slice of shrimp and eat together. Please never do it otherwise you will fall in love with this restaurant. If not, maybe you got COVID, please go to hospital for a check.

The Summit has some of the best shopping in Alabama. Outdoor mall with plenty of restaurants and all your favorite shops. Definitely worth checking out!

Great spot for shopping brand and high end stores. The only main complaint I have is the roadways. If you miss one turn, you’ll have to drive 5+ minutes to make a legal u-turn or circle around the whole neighborhood in order to make your way into the shops. Also, parking is tight with one-way directions on the side with Cheesecake Factory. Be careful when driving…

Problematic security- Older black woman with glasses made us very uncomfortable and unwelcomed as we left a late dinner. The restaurant we left from closed at 10 PM and we were out there at 10:15 PM far in the parking lot at our cars. She proceeded to tell us the mall parking lot closed along with the other stores, and we needed to leave. She continued to harass us until we left the parking lot. Proper screening and training should be done for security. This experience was very distasteful. I would not be back or recommend any family or friends to this area seeing that you’re not allowed to spend 20 minutes by your car chatting and saying goodbye. Never heard of anything like this. I also took the time to read the Summits code of conduct just in case this is some policy that I am unaware of. It does not state that we are not allowed to chat at our cars after businesses are closed. No mention of the parking lot closing with the stores as the security guard stated. We were in dress code and standing right next to our cars. Very disappointed with such discriminatory behavior coming from security.

Great fun stuff that some outdoor stores don't have. Good sale area, but not a large shoe collection in men's or women's. If your looking for cute outdoor, but still practical, gifts it's a great place to check out!

Our New Beginnings church group went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. The restaurant was beautiful, the service by Marie was outstanding considering there were 30+ old folks ordering, the food was very good and portions large. So many flavors of cheesecake it was hard to choose. The only thing was the prices. All I can say is to bring money and lots of it. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger and fries and tea and two pieces of cheesecake+ tip it was $54.39. The baskets of bread and butter brought to the table were good. Chewy white Italian bread and soft brown bread. It was a nice experience but unfortunately unless I win the lottery I won't be able to go back any time soon.

A great place to spend the day. There’s lots of parking and the added traffic cops to get you in and out of the Summit is a smart move. They have good restaurants and many of our favorite national And local retailers.

The food was delicious and the staff so friendly and accommodating. It was like eating at a friend's home. We really loved it. Thank you Seasons 52

This is the place for shopping, restaurants and some legal stuff like banks if you’re in the Birmingham (AL) area. Some great restaurants (North Italia/ P F Chang) but also shops like an Apple shop or Victoria Secret or grocery stores like Trader Joe

Ritzier stores and selection in bham. Be aware NO restrooms beyond restaurants and dept stores. And most dept store bathrooms are not clean and are involved to get to in the store. Really inexcusable for this part of town and the supposed quality of shopping they claim to offer. I'll spare you pictures. Also, store hours are extremely inconsistent (even to their own stated hours), and help is inconsistent as well.

Was at the Cheesecake Factory. I had my regular meatloaf, mashed potatoes and veggies. Just love this order which is enough for at least 2 meals. The cuts of meatloaf are humongous slices--used to be 4 and now 3. It is absolutely a scrumptuous meal. The servers are systematically professional, friendly, and customer aware.

Please be warned if you go there to shop before lunch there are VERY few public restrooms (if you can even locate one). The Summit Office will tell you the stores have them and the stores tell you no, go the restaurants. However, the restaurants with available restrooms do not open until lunch. I do not know how such a nice shopping area has been allowed to conduct business without having readily available public restrooms for patrons. This seems like it would be a health code violation!!

Architecture in this area is just beautiful and somewhat scenic in areas for sure. Lots of little shops and big stores as well. There are plenty of places to eat in addition to plenty of people to meet too. Especially if you're new to the area and are looking to network or just meet new friends this is a great place to do it.

The summit in Mt Brook has it if you want it! Lovely small shops, good selection of restaurants and Belks holds it together with their mid-priced goods. From glasses, the newest movie, to a quick Taco Mama stop this center is a do again and again!

Was on property 11-12-23 for dinner with my wife and some friends at the cheesecake factory. Afterwords, taking a nice leisurely drive through the property not seeing a single security person raises some concern.

Excellent experience. The location was wonderful. I really appreciate Jessica for taking the time to explain everything to me. The goodfeet support system has changed my life. My back and hips feel so much better. I have been able to return to my normal activities. I definitely would recommend.

The Summit was a great experience and the Security was super awesome too! My girlfriend left her purse there and we didn't realize until we got home 2 1/2 hours away. It was super easy to connect with them about getting the purse back.

It's a great shopping area. It's pricing in the variety of shops and restaurants here are meant more for upper class citizens. In most of the clothing stores here you can easily find a pair of jeans with premade holes and bleach spots easily go for $250+ blouses and shirts around the same prices. Really nice restaurants here with amazing choices and high quality taste, portions & presentation. But with the restaurants the prices vary from very affordable to much higher. They have one reasonably priced grocery store,Trader Joe's, and a movie theater. And they also have a bank on-site, Wells Fargo.

I visited multiple stores and ate at North Italian and Blue for sushi. Service at both locations was excellent. Would highly recommend both but Blue is new and first visit. Had a great time. Our waiter Pierre was like one of the family by nights end.

This a great place to visit, except the traffic is crazy. Hard to get in and out and finding parking can be a challenge.

  • 2/5 Timothy B. 1 year ago on Google
This place is crazy. It is insane and an act of lunacy to go here, especially during Christmas time. The parking is narrow and tight. The lanes going in are narrow. It is ok if you are walking but driving no. I'm glad that I don't go here often. On the bright side, you can find anything there.

This mall is always clean and fun to shop!! Lindsey at Franceascas was awesome and she made us feel welcome. We really didn't get any customer service from the other stores which was a bit disappointing

REI Birmingham is located in this shopping center. They have a wide selection of camping and hiking gear at a moderate to high price. Hopefully the quality is good on the products they sell, and the old saying you get what you pay for is true

The Summit has a great mix of stores for shopping, a Trader Joe’s for groceries, a theater and several restaurants for dining. They also have an Apple Store and an AT&T store for your electronic and cellular needs. The Summit is located just off Hwy 280 and Interstate 459. The Summit has approximately 80 retailers in it and room for a few more.

👍 An area where you can find household goods, there is a book store, Baber shop, Dollar Tree, eateries. Well maintained with plenty of parking. Some shops are temporarily or permanently closed as well. "Not much to update all things are relatively as were in the past."
