Great place to go and enjoy a swim in the lake if you’re nearby in Tuscany. Food and drinks available. Good vive with music and bad. You can rent paddles boards and chairs to lounge on. The staff was nice. This is not a sandy beach, it’s made of big pebbles.

Want an outdoor activity close to Florence? Want a seaside experience but with less crowd and super gentle managers? Come here! It was my first time and I forgot my swimming suite: the manager of bahia was so gentle to lend me his one! I think that when people running an activity are nice you gain a plus everywhere! Delicious food and surfs and boats are here for our fun!

Great place for a sunbathe and an aperol spritz with a slice of pizza! Great view of the lake, not sure why May is not ‘high season’ in Italy as it was glorious, glad of the peace and quiet though!

Great location on the waterfront with many activities to keep you entertained such as paddle boarding, kayak hire and swimming. The bar was ok, but at lunch time they only serve pizza, which was good but a tad pricey, the restaurant is only open after 7:00 pm.

Gorgeous view, shame about the mediocre service (no table service for drinks, you have to wait for them to be made and bring them to your table). Its a minor issue but as you get used to table service all over Italy, it almost feels odd they don’t do it, nor call you to get it when your drink’s been there waiting 10 mins. Anyway overall good.

We stopped for a quick coffee and a swim on our way back to Germany and decided to stay even longer with our baby and toddler, because it was such a nice place to be. We were warmly welcomed, had a decent pizza, great coffee and enough space around us to not disturb anyone with the children. Even the playground was nice. (Oh and there is a huuuuge parking in front.) Unfortunately we did not make the pedalo rental but though enjoyed the Musik and the warm water. Thank you for having us.

If you want to go to Lago di Bilancio, keep this Bahia Cafe as address on google maps, google map takes you to a little far with no shops and no toilets when you type Lago di Bilancio. People are going to assume that you dont know italian and talk bad about you. I saw them charge twice the price for an umbrella and two chairs to a foriegn couple. So I recommend to ask italian speakers how much they paid for, and negotiate if you dont want to pay unfair prices. Washrooms, dressing cabins and showers are available, clean and are free. (No one asked me to pay, and didnot see anyone paying). The staff in the actual cafè are nice.

Stone beach on a lake with bar, restaurant and a small shop. The Bahia cafe has all what you need. Nice beers, coffee and pizza.
