Hidden gem in the middle of a dirt road on the way to Pienza. The hotel has amazing views, a beautiful infinite pool and a great restaurant. Rooms are quite spacious and romantic. Only con I would say is that the walls are a bit thin, I could hear my neighbors, but it wasn't an issue at the end. Highly recommended for weddings as well, it has a lot of spots for a beautiful wedding

The most romantic place ever, ideal for relaxing. Everything was great. Thank you for the beautifull moments. The staff was so nice. Dinners, oil and wine was very tasty. I hope that we will see again.

Lage: Super! Top Ausblick, Toskana wie im Bilderbuch. Anfahrt: Die letzten Kilometer beschwerlich, Schotterpiste mit vielen Schlaglöchern. Zimmer: Etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Die Badezimmer sind noch kleiner, in der Dusche stößt man überall an und die Wassertemperatur schwankt stark. Pool: Nett gelegen, Liegen ok. Hier hätte ich mir einen Getränkeservice gewünscht. Essen: Hervorragend! Allgemein: Leider hat irgendein Hotelgast mein Auto auf dem Hotelparkplatz angefahren und es gab keine Kameraüberwachung auf den Parkplatz, heißt ich bleibe auf dem Schaden sitzen. Da kann das Hotel nichts für, bleibt aber als Erinnerung. Es gibt zwei Porsche Destination Charger, was nett ist, mir als E-Auto Fahrer anderen Fabrikats jedoch nichts bringt. Mit einem Porsche würde ich die Straße zum Hotel auch meiden.

Selten haben wir eine so schöne Unterkunft in einer so schönen Umgebung gefunden. Der Service, das Panorama & der gesamte Außenbereich sind ein absoluter Traum. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr lecker, sowohl beim Frühstück, als auch beim Abendessen, wird auf "Selbstgemachtes" aus dem eigenen Anbau Wert gelegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Absolutely beautiful resort. Never stayed at such a grand resort. Shower water was erratic and the room was quite warm, thus the 4 star on the room. The room was beautiful as well though. Dinner was very good. Service was excellent.

Wenn man hier ankommt, kann man sofort abschalten. Das Hotel bietet Ruhe und Komfort. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und die Angestellten sind äußerst freundlich. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

Amazing place. We wish we stayed longer. The views are truly spectacular. Nothing prepares you for the serenity of this place. Dinner at the place is a must. Delicious home made pasta, accompanied by a local wine. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much to ask.

After a slightly adventurous journey, we arrived at the resort - a dream come true! Great view, wonderful room, beautiful gardens. Especially worth mentioning is the exceptionally friendly and cordial staff at the reception and in the breakfast room.

5 stars all around. They made such a special effort for my vegetarian friend, who does not eat eggs either. The food and drink were great, as were the views. Very hospitable staff. I would come again, and highly recommend it to my friends and family.

We had a great one-night stay in Borgo Sant'Ambrogio. Although it was November and there were only maybe 5 other couples staying, the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything, including a very good breakfast with some of the best views. All restaurants in nearby Pienza were already closed for the winter so we opted to have dinner at the resort which was a great experience! With a special recommendation for the tiramisu, which was the very best I tried in Italy (and therefore the world). I do hope they will fix the entry path to the estate. We were lucky to have a SUV and there was no rain, but the level of service and comfort at the resort is not in line with the bad condition of the path. Having said that, it is still worth crossing it!
