This is a great place. In a very cool and nice neighbourhood. It seems like your usual hipster brewery ….but it is more. It’s a nice super chill environment with excellent staff. The staff were so cool and helpful , with some good recommendations for beer and food. The pizzas are incredible a complete change to the normal Assado that is typical of Uruguayan cuisine. The beer is just as nice, good range of beers from stouts to ipa and beyond. Staff were very helpful to someone like me who had limited local language. The space itself is big and spacious but also very cosy. One of the best breweries I’ve been to. I left very happy

One of the best beer places I've been in Montevideo. All the beers were delicious, well priced and at a perfect temperature. Pizza is really good, staff is very polite and atmosphere is great. A must go.

Great time as always. I say at the bar and enjoyed a couple different beers. End of Feb they had 5-6 IPA/NIPA, Couple Lagers, one sour and couple darker beers. The IPAs I tried had good flavor and and great hop combinations. Highly recommend. Pizzas are really delicious.

Great beer, lots of NEIPA options. Cool environment as well, nicely equipped stage as well, too bad there was no live music the evening I was there. Next time!

If you are looking for the best brewery vibe, come over here! It’s very popular on Friday nights. All the beers are good. Unfortunately they don’t serve beer flights.

It is a good place to enjoy with friends, drink the wide variety of beers that they have here or eat something.

Malafama is an excellent establishment to bring all the people or just to sit down alone quietly and have 1-15 amazing beers and responsibly stumble home or Uber home, but only after trying there amazing smelling pizza or handhelds. Thanks for the excellent beer and food Malafama, see you again soon! P.S. I only had 3 but I wanted to have 15 haha.

Amazing beer. I've tried the both Indian pale ale that they had on that day (If I'm not wrong, the specials on tap change from time to time). Amazing environment, which is obvious because they're Uruguayan and everybody should love Uruguayans. They give us free pop corn with the beer and there's an amazing smoking area outside, where you can seat, eat, drink and smoke!

The drinks are really good, it takes some time for the food to be ready but understandable when the place is full

A great place to have a few beers, they sell their own products. I go there on a weekly basis, to be honest is a bit expensive, $U 180 per glass, but the beer is good quality and tasteful

If i could give them 6 Stars i would! Really great beers, fancy restaurant food and very good prices. I wish that i could live in MvD to become a regular customer.

Top tip: have the chorizo-starter or the Carbonara (not a regular tradinoal one but great) , both very good! 🙌 The service is good, with smiles all around and in my opinion the serve the best beer i Montevideo.
