Amazing meal of the highest quality. Service was impeccable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The price was reasonable. Come early or make a reservation as they get quite busy. We will be back again very soon! One of our favorite restaurants in Montevideo!

Naru is located on the corner of Roque Graseras and Vasquez Ledesma -- an excellent location for both afternoon and evening meals. You can sit outside on either Street frontage or indoors. This was my first meal here, even though I've lived close by for more than a decade. Finally got around to it! The menu is varied and you can either have something modest or spend a small fortune--both my meal and the things served to tables around me looked well prepared and presented. I had the rabas appetizer and sushi poke as entree --- with a bottle of Salus and tip, lunch was about us$25. The service was decent, but not exceptional. I want to return for a dinner to try some sushi before making any further comments; but definitely worth coming back.

Amazing sushi! We ordered the New York Salmon roll, Tuna, Avocado. All ingredients were super fresh and had great flavors. Customer Service was excellent as well. Will come back for sure!

Was OK. Edit: WAS. Last night we went there with friends and family, food was same old same old, however the service was not... The waitress dropped a piece of sushi to the floor, said "no worries i will bring you another one", which never came... One of my relatives order for a vegan food which half of the ingredients were not added since they didn't have it, we ask for lemonades without sugar, they came with sugar, etc. I can understand if the place is overcrowded, but a restaurant should be able to cope with this. The cherry on top of the cake, after all this they asked for a tip.

The quality of the food is good. But the public attention is awful either thru delivery or on site. There is a lot of room of improvement starting with the public'attention.

This is one of the best places to have dinner in Pocitos right now. The ambience is great. Nice, chill background music that lets you have a conversation. Service is super attentive and responsive. The food is really good. Do not expect the most traditional Japanese sushi but more of the South American take, which is still great - just different. Both the service and the kitchen are accommodating to any especial requests, so don’t be afraid to ask for tweaks on the food.

Nice place to try lots of varieties of Sushi. They have something called Tenedor Libre which is a nice concept but could be improved. For 1.000 pesos, they offer you 20 pieces of sushi, then 10 and then multiples of 4. It's basically unlimited food for 1.000 pesos. It's practically impossible for a single person to utilize and they don't allow you to share. Either the price/quantity could be reduced or they allow sharing at least with one person. They provide a free postre/cake and candle if it's someone's birthday in the group but the cédula is verified.

they made the night very enjoyable due to their musical choices, good soundtrack to have dinner with patrick bateman, i’d suggest that you listen phil collins’ debut album, such a masterpiece. the sushi tasted as it was just taken from the mediterranean

Not impressed with the food. The rolls have too much cream cheese. I feel like the quality of the food lacks in flavor. I also think they lack a lot of things as we asked for two different cocktail and they could not make either of them because they did not have all the ingredients. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fine.
