It is with great trepidation that i write this review but want the reader to remember this may be just a one off experience . The staff front desk and the breakfast staff were amazing and it is the only reason why i did not run away from the hotel regardless of whether they gave me a refund or not. When we got the room the bed was wet ( yuck). The maids explained it was perfume which was not true. While they were changing the top sheet i noticed last guests body hair on the other sheets and the pillow case. I had them changed it and they gave excuse no 2. After they left noticed empty can of pop in flower box in balcony and a day later i stepped upon a broken glass piece on the carpeted floor we did not break anything. The room was dusty and it appears they do not vacuum the place at all! I even noticed small bugs on my cell phone when it was charging. Why they don't vacuum the place is beyond me...and the bedsheets question ???

Really good Hotel for Business Travelers. Room is small but just perfect size. 4 rooms per floor. 2 facing the "beach" and 2 facing the back to the shopping. Pillows were very thin but get better when stacked together. Bathroom shower was really good with strong flow and hot water. Toilet was also very good with a strong flush. AC was perfect. TV channels is outstanding, there is basically hundreds of cable channels from HBO to every major news channel (CNN, BBC, Bandnews, etc). Breakfast is server in a small lounge on the reception floor but is quite good. A lot of fruits, bread and scrambled eggs.

The staff extremely helpful,as a Accor member the rooms a little disappointing, the gym in the broom cupboard , the most upsetting thing we had in-house laundry service with the motel laundry bag full an all ticked of an bill at end of over $400 US dollar absolutely perfect job after a few words they gave us a little discount just under $400 lm sure the amount of washing we could have purchased new clothes , very disappointing we are in cusco Novotel now with the laundry next door at $6 a kilo a top job we all never stop learning being stitched up l think with Accor an relying on us all to support them they need be more aware all that peoples reviews it’s a big motel world out there !

So bad! I pay 1 mounth before and when i got there , they said that dont have rooms anymore and change me to annothey hotel far from the rambla (beach)

An excellent hotel. Very kind and truly attentive employees. A fair price. The hotel is located in a good place of the city (the best shopping center of town, Punta Carreta Shopping, good restaurants and small services). The Rambla Mahatma Gandhi is a great beach where it's possible to stroll, run and ride a bike. The breakfast is very good. I couldn't recommend more.

Very good Hotel of "mercure" brand. Service & Staff is very good and they speak at least Spanish, Portugues, English and French. Breakfast is good and so big. Some rooms (the cheapest one) are maybe little bit small but it is enought for 1 person or a couple. Good place to stay for profesional trip or a couple weekend.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, breakfast had a lot of options, and the location was amazing. It helped to know Spanish, but the staff spoke English.

Good location for the hotel as the beach is right opposite the hotel. On the back side of the Hotel we have the shopping mall Punta Carretas. Rooms are decent and so is the service.

Hotel was able to extend our reservation at short notice and even gave us a better room at the same price. Great breakfasts as well. Excellent location within 2 blocks of several great restaurants plus access to Ramblas and the water.

I arrived early morning on my check in day and they made paid for the room one extra night even it was available because check in was at 2pm, no nice

The hotel is good, the only exception is that there's no parking.
