It's a nice place to stay when you go to Montevideo. I was in several hotels in the city, and this is one of the best ones. The employees are very nice and try to solve all your problems so you enjoy your stay. Also is located in Pocitos, in front of the beach and at a short walk from one of the best shopping centers of Uruguay. The view from the room is also a plus.

Lovely Hotel. Rooms are modern. A wonderful heated spa-like pool. Very nice gym. Breakfast buffet for a fee. 10+ mins walking distance to Shopping Mall, supermarket, restaurants, etc. Across the street is the famous Montevideo sign. Staff is very nice and helpful. Coffee shop with pastries in the lobby. You can easily Uber anywhere....Or rent a car from the airport and sightsee.

Hotel is relatively new and in a central location. View of the beach is great and rooms are spacious.

The Hyatt is directly across the street from the Montevideo sign between Pocitos Beach and Puetro del Buceo. Rooms are well appointed and large. Coffee maker, refrigerator, safe, hairdryer all in the room. No iron or ironing board. Bed, couch and desk chair were all comfortable. Nice gym and pool. Multiple restaurants in the area. 10 minute walk to a large mall nearby.

Just across from one of the most popular beaches in Montevideo and directly opposite the famous illuminated Montevideo sign. Typical Hyatt hotel with good standard of food and rooms. We liked the small cafe /deli.

Wonderful weekend getaway. Friendly staff, excellent service, clean and well-appointed room. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic and the bed in our room was the most comfortable we both have experienced. We were completely satisfied.

We received the best service in this hotel from every single employee. Especially Horacia has put an extra effort in helping us with an issue we had with a taxi that charged us more than normal. He got us our money back and he did that just to make our stay nicer and more pleasant. Also thanks to Marcia, Federico and Emiliano for the extra service during the stay! Further, the room was beautiful, spacious and very clean! The swimming pool is very nice and relaxing. This hotel is one of the best experience I’ve had in many years of travelling.

Nice hotel in Montevideo. Very clean, spacious, really nice view of the sea and great for visiting the beach or getting to the airport (about 30min drive). They have a well equipped gym, breakfast was good and overall nice hotel.

I love the Hyatt chain of hotels. The Hyatt Centric is a great place. Competent staff, with a vibe for the place. Just the right size that it does not feel crowded. Rambla location is great. My new home in Montevideo!

Spent 2 weeks there very recently. the Staff and facilities were excellent, ESPECIALLY Natalija! Excellent Customer Service, whether it be from the bar or restaurant, or even local information. She is the absolute perfect "Face" for this fine hotel, always cheerful, helpful, and kind. I have Elite Status with another major hotel chain, but will stay here instead when i return to Montevideo, in large part due to Natalija!

Nicolás in reservations really went above and beyond. He was very friendly, especially kind, and was genuinely interested in myself and my clients. It's easy to find great properties but very difficult to find amazing staff.

Decent hotel but extremely disorganized. I stayed here with several colleagues for a week of working collaboratively together. It was difficult at best to get pricing from staff for a conference room. Unfortunately the conference room was not prepared, we needed to arrange and ask for the screen and such to be setup. Overall, average at best.

I stayed here with my wife and it was great. I must make emphasis in the room, what a great room, plenty space and wonderful ocean view. It had lot of variety of channels in the tv. The breakfast was perfect, lot lot of tasty food and had free Cappuccino all you wanted to take. But wasn’t perfect, lacked of green environment at least a small space inside with a green area but what I really got disappointed was about the view of the top of the building cause only can get access private parties or private events so you cannot go there and see the view. By the way the pool was also great.

That amazing breakfast was all I needed to start my day after a long trip. The hotel has a great location, my room had the most stunning view in the city (I guess). What a nice pool they have! Purple with the water at an ideal temperature! Good gym and cool bar.
