Hotel péssimo, quartos barulhentos, atendimento o pior que vi na vida!!! Nunca mais voltarei. Dear Mr. Walter, When I made my reservation, I specifically asked for a room on a high floor and away from the elevator. We (my husband and I) asked for this at check-in twice, and nevertheless, the attendant purposely (because I complained that there was no one to meet us at the entrance - with the car) gave us room 504, right in front of the elevator. So, I spent every night without sleep due to the LOUD and annoying noise of the elevator "PIN", "PIN" and the street noise, also very loud. The hotel has rooms from the 3rd floor up to the 14th... that is, the 5th is a very low floor! And quite noisy! If all this was not enough, the reception service is terrible. One day I complained that at 4:00 pm the room had not yet been cleaned and the attendant simply said that "the Hotel is full". If you don't have enough staff to clean the rooms, it's not the guests' problem. Thus, the service is poor, the room is noisy (you can hear it until the elevators open and close) and we were very badly treated / served. They don't even say "good morning" when you pass the reception. In short, you were supposed to do the guest's request and mine weren't. They couldn't even clean the room. This was the worst stay of my life. Helena.

My husband and I stayed at the Aloft hotel for four days in September 2023, and I must say it was the perfect choice for our transition from the United States to Uruguay. The hotel's location in the Punta Carretas neighborhood is not only safe and quiet, but it's also surrounded by a plethora of interesting shops and restaurants. Moreover, the hotel is easily accessible from the airport. The Aloft staff is knowledgeable, sincere, and extremely service-oriented, making our stay an absolute pleasure. They were conversational and reasonably fluent in English, which made communication a breeze. Without a doubt, I highly recommend the Aloft hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Uruguay.

Rooms decor/flooring/walls need to be refreshed, but the layout serves the purpose for the business crowd. Although most of the staff is friendly, a few of them could benefit from a customer service refreshment course. PERFECT location!

Love this hotel. The staff is so attentive. My room is clean and modern. It's right by a mall of you want to explore other quick eating options. This hotel has a fun hip vibe. I'm in the lobby and they have a dj. Suddenly I feel like dancing. This is not for families with young children if you plan on hanging out in the common areas. This is excellent for business travelers and young peeps.

Everything was fine except for the coffee at breakfast. I tried to 'fix' it with milk and sugar, but it was still undrinkable. Very nice breakfast selection otherwise. I especially liked the juice makers and the variety of vegetables and fruits available. Brilliant idea!

Stayed 2 nights at the Montevideo Aloft. I have to say this place looks rather new and it has a big mall next to it so quite a busy place to be in. But comparing it to the distance to the bus terminal it is really considered quite far and every time you have to take a Uber or a bus to the hotel. Nevertheless it is close to the sea and probably some of the rooms might have views to the sea, which I could see quite a bit of it. The rooms were pretty standard but they are clean and well maintained, spick and span. There are also many amenities I had a chance to look around but no chance to use them. The breakfast variety was not too bad, and it was very self service to everything. I quite enjoyed myself with the breakfast spread and the pastries. Nothing to complain about the stay everything was good. Other than checking in and out I didn't really approach any of the staff and the procedures were a breeze. If you don't mind a little travelling to downtown this place is actually not a bad place to stay.

The location is great, close to supermarket, shopping mall, and the beach. The room is spacious with a place for opened luggage.

Right across the street from a nice mall. Close to the river. Rooms are clean and decent size. Can’t complain for the price!

Well positioned. Puntas Carretas mall and Fresh Market next door. La Rambla one block away.

The Aloft Montevideo is in the right place in Montevideo. It is across the street from a shopping mall, a block away from starbucks, and surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the city. Overall, the staff are friendly, rooms are spacious, and many have great views. Some cons (that do not detract from the 5* rating) include bathroom soaps that come out of a dispenser and don't work well and very expensive beers in the bar.

The staff and manager could not be nicer. Rooms are nice. The charge port ( powerstrip on desk) is problematic. Provided lotions and soap are great. Breakfast is excellent ( I do wish they had whole milk or cream for coffee). I love the pool table, first time playing in twenty years. I couldn't use the gym but it is well setup. Highly recommended.

In the heart of everything right across the street from the large mall. Lots of restaurants in the area. If you stayed at one of these in the United States, you know there’s not a lot going on but here it’s constantly busy in the lobby with the bar and restaurant.

I STRONGLY dislike Aloft hotels. However, the staff was amazing here. The front desk is extremely attentive and helpful. The bar staff was fun and had great custom cocktails. Breakfast is a tad chaotic, but it is a sit-down experience which is different than most Aloft hotels.

Never got to stay at the Hotel. Booked it with almost two months in advance to stay for The Weeknd of the Libertadores final. 3 days before my checkin they let me know that they overbooked the hotel and were transferring me to a “Co-living” situation. This is totally unexceptable. This is not how you treat a paying guest.
