We stayed there two nights and felt very welcome from the start. The hotel itself is located in the heart of the city centre with various bars, restaurants and museums to visit. Decorated with a keen eye for design, the hotel interiors inspire an cinematic vintage ambiance. The owner is wonderful and helped us attentively as guests.

I found this place super interesting, great location and really imaginative interiors - my room had a record player and a collection of vhs tapes. My window looked out onto the theatre. Shared bathroom was fine and i guess shared kitchen is useful for some people. The staff were super friendly and there was a random blofeld cat wandering around. Absolutely charming, quirky and put together with great taste and love. Definitely the most memorable (and cheapest) stay of my holiday.

The staff in this hostel couldn't be any better.... They are fluent in multiple languages and are happy to let you practice your Spanish on them. They have also gone out of their way to offer to clean our room, print for us and provide great ideas of what to do and see. The hostel is an older building with large rooms and high ceilings. We stayed in a double room with ensuite with a balcony, which was great and I had a little nose about and there are a number of rooms better than ours (doubles, not sure of the dorms). The place is spotless and close to everything, there are bars downstairs and a supermarket around the corner. The only criticism is that the water is tepid, not hot.... not a major problem given it has been warm during our stay, though would be a serious concern for me if the weather was cooler. Highly recommend 😀

Wonderful location. Bars and Restaurants everywhere, lots of shopping. The hotel itself is gotta be 100 yeats old. Its cool, i can totally see the scenes of a 1920s movie being filmed here. All in all a five star and two thumbs up.

Water will stay warm, but not hot. The community bathrooms were upgraded while the personal ones were not. The heater is an electric heater in each room, which doesn't work when the power goes out. Staff could be better, got different checkout times from different employees and didn't know breakfast was included until my third night.

About a 20 minute walk from the port. The hotel is located at the edge of the old town and the new part of the city. 3 minute walk to Independence Plaza. Easy access to the bus network - just pay 22 pesos once on board to get to anywhere in the city. The single rooms are small with very small beds. My advice is pay the extra few dollars to get a double room. The double has ensuite bathroom and TV. Wifi access with a desktop available in the common area. Basic breakfast included - cereal and pastries. Not the most modern of hotels but they have made an effort to give the hotel some character. Helpful staff.

As an affordable option for a private room in Ciudad Vieja you can find nothing finer. Very tall ceilings, views of Teatro Solis, great Pubs and Cafes on the pedestrian alley.

Absoluty charming with great staff. The hotel is a vintage treasure. The view of the theater is great. It can be noisy at night (street noises)
