We had booked a stay with this establishment through Airbnb. After booking our accommodation and preparing our bus for Montevideo, we were contacted by the host just to be told the price we had paid through the Airbnb platform was wrong and we must pay more upon arrival. We were told the price was wrong that was stated on Airbnb and they have been having troubles sorting it out. While it may be true, the place should not have been offered on Airbnb if that was the case. Thankfully our communication was handled swiftly and in time in sorting out our cancellation because we were not going to pay three times the price. Airbnb helped us out and communicated with both us and the host to find out what the issue was. However, I was very disappointed that the host/establishment didn’t handle it more professionally and honor the price that was stated, the price we paid. Problems can happen, but they had nothing to do with us. They should have accepted their responsibility and allowed us to stay, especially given we were already on our way via bus with very limited wifi. There was no sympathy and we were left late in the evening still looking for accommodation.

Excellent hostess, Carlos is awesome and helpful. Very well located. Completed renovated and clean. Very affordable. If you go to Montevideo this is a good option.

El lugar es espacioso, se mantiene la buena higiene, tiene un patio muy lindo, hay 2 perros muy bonitos y educados que tienen su espacio correspondiente (no ingresan a la cocina o habitaciones, solo el patio). El hostel esta ubicado en una zona centrica y bastante segura.
