Chez Mario es atendido por Mario, su hija y el novio francés. Los 3 son muy amables y cariñosos. El desayuno es muy rico y las habitaciones limpias y espaciosas. La verdad es que el Hostal es muy lindo, está muy bien decorado y es muy hogareño. Además tiene acceso al tejado donde se puede ver Montevideo, muy lindo! Totalmente recomendado

Amazing!!! Mario is the better host you can find! He loves to talk about cinema! And he is an expert of italian cinema! The house is perfect, full of vintage stuff and not far away from the center! If you find a room ther you have to book! Is a must to do!

Everyone (& everything) was great but Mario has a special place in my heart. Best evening in South America so far, having a beer with Mario and shooting the breeze 😎

Very nice host, sweet house with lots of love renovated. Clean and lots of space. Can definitely suggest it and would love to spend more time there.

+ nice host, openminded, helpful + nicely renovated boutique hotel + located in Centro, close to ciudad vieja and central bus station + breakfast buffet with plenty of choice + kitchen can be used by guests o towels ok (should be changed more often in kitchen and toilet, used by all guests) o prices fair, not low Note: 3 of 5 rooms w/o windows, only window to the floor.

Foi uma experiência incrível passar por este hostel! Tanto o Mario como a Solange sua filha nos atenderam maravilhosamente! Muito calorosos, saímos do hostel já com saudades das pessoas e do lugar. Além de ser bem localizado, também tinha água quente (o que é importante, fomos no inverno de Julho), café da manhã ótimo também! Sem palavras para este cantinho mágico!

Me encantó el lugar, la decoración, una casa antigua pero bastante acogedora, da un clima de hogar gracias a la cordialidad y preocupación que demuestran los dueños. La habitación linda, con una cama muy cómoda, no teníamos televisión - aunque había una muy antigua pero no sé si funcionaba, tampoco se me ocurrió preguntar- pero el internet funciona a la perfección y ya no se vuelve necesario. Los espacios compartidos como el baño, comedor y cocina muy limpios y siempre disponibles. Si creo que sería necesario poner alguna identificación afuera, porque cuando llegas no tienes certeza si es ahí o no, aunque cuando ya toque el timbre y nos recibieron no hubo ninguna duda, Mario nos hizo sentir como que llegamos a nuestra casa.
