Incredibly
lame,
amateurish
photography
that
is
50-60
years
out
of
date.
Much
of
it
is
blurry,
and
looks
like
the
bad
photos
an
amateur
included
in
his
presentation
50
years
ago
because
the
other
photos
didn't
come
out.
It
really
looks
like
lousy
amateur
photos
from
the
mid-60s.
The
"exhibits"
earlier
today
were
95%
shots
of
the
city
and
possibly
a
few
celeb
candid
photos,
but
they
were
profoundly
amateurish,
with
poor
color
and
composition,
and
frequently
blurry.
There
were
a
few
'"art"
photos,
and
there
was
one
interesting
one.
The
remainder
were
contrived
as
hell,
and
frankly
the
compositions
and
technique
were
mediocre,
at
best.
A
complete
waste
of
time.
Better
to
review
photos
available
online
of
Edward
Weston
(the
master,
from
whom
Ansel
Adams
learned
so
much),
especially
his
Point
Lobos
period,
which
is
pure
magic;
or
Rodney
Lough,
from
Oregon,
who
may
be
our
best
living
photographer
(he
shoots
the
same
subjects
sometimes
as
Art
Wolfe
or
Peter
Lik,
and
RL's
stuff
generally
is
significantly
better).
In
sum,
save
your
precious
time
and
skip
this
ridiculous
collection
of
amateurish,
uninteresting
photos.
Sorry
to
be
a
buzzkill
--
this
place
may
be
in
a
beautiful
building,
but
the
photos
are
junk.
