The information on this page is just incorrect. So for example, they stated at the time of booking they accept card payment costing me an agreed average of $9.50 per night (they later tell me they don’t accept card payment). Later (to cut a long story short) they overcharged me $13.30 per night - 45% price increase on the agreed booking.com listed price. Despite a call from booking.com customer services towards the Hostel, the Hostel still refused to give a partial refund on the overpayment. The staff just don’t care. Location is poor - most other Hostels are located in a much better area, as this Hostel is far away from the bus station and the main attractions. A homeless man harassed me at a nearby ATM cash machine. Other much nicer Montevideo Hostels (for a cheaper overall price) provide a free breakfast. When a simple Mcdonalds meal here will cost you roughly €/$8 (Uruguay is very expensive) choosing to stay at another Hostel will save you a fortune!

Owner very arrogant. Let's his customer think that it can be paid by credit card until getting to the hotel and knowing that you have to pay with cash.

Best hostel to stay in Montevideo! You stay near to all things to see or you going to have an bus one minute away from the hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpfull at any time! Great people!!! Rooms are perfekt equipmet (awesome hot shower, good AC(heating or cooling) and a comfortable bed. We spent a lot of time at the wonderfull rooftop. I would come back to this place at any time!

Comfortable, clean and relaxed hostel with the basics. Convenient location near the historic center and access to the river front. (The area is bustling in the day time but a little closed up after dark)

We stayed here twice and the rooms we got didn't disappoint at all. Very good, clean and pleasant to spend the time in there if you need to. The WiFi works perfectly for online meetings as well.

Excellent hostel! It's more like a hotel than a hostel (but with 3 bunks, 6 beds total, in a room instead of one big bed). The room doors use credit card style keys. The bathrooms are gorgeous, hot water plentiful with fantastic shower heads. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is ample. The rooms have lockers and air conditioning. And the power in the rooms requires that you put your key in a slot by the door (as some hotels do) so that you can't waste electricity. And the location of the hostel is great, right in Ciudad Vieja (Old Town) (although there are other areas of Montevideo that a visitor should explore, too). Highly recommend this hostel.

I stayed only one night, it was a very quick visit. Confortable, clean, well designed, helpful staff, they server breakfast (I didn't try it) for an extra fee. Only downside I found on my quick visit, they is not functional kitchen. Only a microwave and a kettle to boil water. Overall recommended...

Hostel is good. Location okay, couple of mini markets and cafes around but nothing more worth to name. The „kitchen“ is pretty useless, only microwave and hot water for tea/coffee

So, we paid 36US$ and we got a bed dirty with blood!!!! And adirty towel.. very disgusting and disappointing. ישראלים לא להתקרב.

The first room was unhygienic and Unsanitary. I asked to upgrade, I was charged for the second room and that had a broken bed. The reception staff was rude and unwilling to offer assistance and became hostile. I asked to talk to the manager who speaks English to resolve the issue however this was refused. I have stayed here before without these issues.
