Amazing park! Beautiful statue! They have a ferry in this park. Can enjoy a paddle boat ride. Food, washrooms and crystals! Large and near the beach.

This Park is a must-visit when arriving in Uruguay. People gather here every afternoon - it gets crowded as soon as spring starts approaching! The magnificent view of the beach and the sun sets make it an amazing experience for everyone.

This is a lovely place to walk your dog, hang out with friends, or just relax. There's a lot to see and do there which is great for families. I love waking around here to wash away the stress of work.

Beautiful 19th century urban park, filled with old trees of various kinds, lagoon, pedal boats, walkways, old monuments... A bit unkept but still a great place for a walk, reading a book, or enjoy a beverage.

A must see location in Montevideo, bus journey away or if you like walking a pleasant walk along the ramble from the old town!

Nice parks filled with lots of dogs. There is a nice pond and lots of shade, a good view of the ocean and a food truck.

1st time to go to the night market and it is HUGE! So many stalls and food trucks/stalls! I don't think we saw all of it and we were there for at least 2 hours! So much to see. Bring money! You WILL find lots of what you never knew you needed!

Nice park for a walk or to rent on of the paddleboats on the newly restored lake. There are often concerts and other public events taking place in the park.

Parque Rodo is one of the most famous attractions around Punta carretas. It is huge and has beautiful scenic views. One side of which faces the rambla (and a beautiful beach). The other side is towards the city. Many bars and clubs also happen to be around this place. If you go on a Sunday , you may even happen to walk into a big event (gastronomic, electronic music festivals, rallies, shows, cultural exhibitions are all examples of events I've attended here). In the photograph, my friends and I, all happened to meet at this regional dance and gastronimical event. It is a must visit, if you visiting Montevideo.

Really nice open park, with a small lagoon and boats for kids. There is also a museum and a bike track.

Beautiful place to visit, specially, between September and May because of the weather of course. In the lake you can rent for really good prices a boat that u can move by pedal. The surroundings are green and beautiful, it's a must visit in Montevideo.

A very beautiful park near the rambla, with many great trees, an artificial lake with paddleboats to rent and good coffee. Calm and friendly atmosphere, birds, fountains and two fairgrounds and a museum nearby. Very lively on weekends, quiet on weekdays.
