Excellent service. Barman with a great variety of exquisite and innovative drinks. The food was super quick and delicious. When it comes to know about tapas, I'm the guy to look for, and I can guarantee that they are as good as they get. The cooks evidently implement a consistent technique where the personality traits of a Uruguayan cuisine can flourish. The ambient is very comfy and evoques, simultaneausly, a "night out" spirit where anything can happen. Decoration and layout is supreme, you can tell that every detail was meticulously checked. Pasion is needed for such a great place.

Had heard good things about it and went to check it out. Cool, modern decor with unique details such as custom coasters throughout. The food was really well priced for the quality since all the dishes were exceptional. They are tapas sized therefore recommend sharing a few between the group. Eating two savoury and a dessert if going alone should be enough. The choice of drinks and beers make it a good place to go after office as well as for a full on dinner. The customers were from a wide variety of ages. Will be returning to try more dishes.

Open Wednesday through Saturday nights from 18.00-00.00, Asencio is yet another fun, new place to go on the up-and-coming, always expanding "Upper Arocena" scene (just north of the Lawn Tennis Club). Asencio offers live music on Wednesdays, an above average food menu, and plenty of outdoor seating for COVID-friendly socializing. Their food looks great, and their selection of drinks is very much above average. The staff is suoer-friendly and welcoming. I happily recommend a visit if you're looking for a change of scenery!
