El día sábado 12 de marzo de 2022, concurrí luego de casi 18 años al Parque Zoológico Francisco Lecocq, llevé a mi nieta por primera vez para tener esa experiencia que había tenido con mis hijos. Demás esta decir que este parque con los humedales representan 120 hectáreas que no están ni por asomo cuidadas como deberían ser para los animales y para los visitantes. La sorpresa fue dura, casi decepcionante. Trataré de enumerar lo que ví: 1) calle internas desechas, solo la principal está bastante bien. 2) el trencito hace 18 años años que no funciona, DIECIOCHO!!!!! 3) las vías por donde circulaba fueron asfaltadas por encima, concluyéndose que jamás volverá a ponerse en funcionamiento dicho tren. 4) no existe un solo sistema señalético acerca de los animales, no se sabe el nombre, la especie, donde es su hábitat, de donde provienen. 5) los carteles existentes que datan de años, dado su daño a la intemperie, casi destruidos solo dicen SECTOR EN REPARACION 6) el único cartel en buen estado es de una publicidad de la empresa ROSENBUS que proporciona los microchips de identificación de los animales del parque 7) los babuinos, que todos llaman mandriles, porque como no hay señalética que lo diga, todos confundimos 8) hay un kiosko donde no aceptan tarjetas. 9) hay antilopes, ciervos o venados, llamas (en total libertad, lo único rescatable del parque) cebras, ñandúes, emúes (supongo) y jabalíes o pecaríes (no lo se porque estaban a 50 metros de la cerca). Poquísimos animales para 120 hectáreas, comparando con Temaiken de 50 hectáreas, que tuve la oportunidad de visitar y recorrer con mis hijos siendo ellos chicos, los cuales vivieron una experiencia totalmente rica, con buses (ya te cobran el traslado y el ingreso, para evitar colas en el propio parque) saliendo desde Plaza Italia en Bs As y llegando a Pilar donde se encuentra el Bioparque Temaiken. 10) hable con dos personas de allí que me manifestaron que cada vez hay menos animales, y que los visitantes solo van a comer asado y poca cosa mas.
