Nice Italian food, expensive as they added cover charges for bread we didn’t ask for and overall expensive. The pizza was nice. The base was crispy and too much cheese. The pasta was good. Overall a nice experience but expensive and I didn’t like having cover charges added for things we didn’t ask for. Sneaky

A decent place to grab lunch/dinner when you are near the beach in Montevideo. Food was decent and portions were substantial, however nothing impressive. Service is fast and friendly, but speaks nothing but Spanish. Payment by card is possible.

An Italian restaurant close to my hotel in Montevideo. I saw the recommendation for the lasagne and tiramisu. I enjoyed both. The lasagne contained Chilean mushrooms 🍄 which affected the colour but it was very nice as was the tiramisu.

Very good food and wonderful service! They were very accommodating even though we were not speaking the best Spanish. The mushroom risotto was probably the best I have ever had - very meaty and fresh mushrooms from Chile. The pasta was extremely fresh and my family enjoyed it very much. Gnocchi and pappardelle were excellent. Highly recommend coming here!

Great atmosphere and friendly service. The pasta was decent, tiramisu excellent. Disappointing the bill included the 22% tax that should not be charged to tourists…basic error, need better staff training!

Got the Fellini Risotto that is finished off in the cheese wheel. It was good but not the best. Decent value. I see a lot of complaints about price in the comments but this was definitely cheaper than any homemade Italian meal in the US. Appreciated the Italian music as well. Bread was my least favorite part - I didn’t care for the texture.

Had a great time here last night! Not only did we meet the owner, Juan, but we also ran into recruiters for the Russian National soccer team. Everyone was real friendly and Juan even put on some songs that came up while having our conversations. Thanks for the hospitality and fun!

I did not enjoy eating the food at Fellini. The lemonade was salt water with no flavor of mint and ginger . We had to wait for about ten mins for sugar to be provided . The hummus was dry and the main course took around 30 mins . For the main course we had ordered chicken curry risotto , the rice was uncooked and we had to ask for an exchange . The kitchen noise can be heard at the restaurant and is unpleasant.

Bella Italia Rather small restaurant at convenient location near Rambla Republica de Peru, Pocitos. Cozy and very well frequented place; reservation highly recommended. Outstanding food and higher end wine selections. My Risotto di Mare was outstanding, Tiramisu mouth-watering, and the Finca Ferrer Malbec 2015 a delight. Efficient and friendly service. Altogether a pleasant 5* experience.

a really beautiful cozy restaurant with a nice service and tasteful pasta with cheese ham and almond. pizza was just average, the base was too hard and the restaurant isnt the cheapest.. cake was more in the oven than it should be

Prices are high and the iva is not included.we had a bank money from them that they didn't accept for their special lunch deal as part of the pay and the offer also didn't mention it's only cash no credit cards and on top also iva .I used to love this restaurant but I am not going there again.

Great food and service. Prices are high, though. And the caipirinha is made with lemon instead of lime.

I ordered the pesto pasta. The walnuts could have been chopped and toasted… they came whole and tasted raw. Comparing to the food in Brazil, I also felt it lacked seasoning, salt and flavor in general. The dish was kinda cold, but the service is very good.

I was quite disappointed with this place. It claims to have the best pasta in town, which I truly doubt is actually the case. Dishes were quite watery and portion sizes were definitely on the lighter side. There was also an issue with mosquitos flying around our table.

Found the place by accident..., and what a pleasant surprise it was! There were six of us, and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Servings are abundant (for sure can be shared). Service was courteous and timely. Check it out..., you won't be disappointed

Friendly service. Reasonable atmosphere though a bit dated and worn. Food was fine unremarkable and nothing to complain about but would expect more for the prices.

Great location and very cute and cozy ambience. Food was nice, however the cuisine definitely more American than Italian as it claimed. Staff not really speaking English, however they definitely do effort to accommodate your needs and make you feel welcomed. Prices are normal for Uruguay.

Lovely restaurant! Very Nice and helpfull staff ... Had an amazing camembert with honey! You must check it out! The lasagna was very Nice! And the passion fruit sorbet was "the cherry" on a wonderfull meal! A special note was that on my visit there was a model show with a catwalk... Ahahahah loved it!

Hidden gem! We were overwhelmed by the quality of choices. We settled for a pumpkin stuffed pasta dish and rack of lamb.. and accompany the dish with a nice Malbec..... delish. The service was amazing, Juan Manuel took amazing care of us and turned our experience from great to amazing. To end our great dining experience, we had coffee and tea... ahhhhh on for a walk to the rambla!!

A cozy little restaurant. We had two pizzas and they were only average. The one with blue cheese and pear was made with a tomato sauce which is wrong and ruined the taste from the cheese and pear. Service was excellent as always in Montevideo.

The melanzane was raw, I received three large pieces of aubergine (still green) on top of each other. I could tell there was old cheese one one slice and fresh melted cheese sprinkled on top of it to make it look ‘fresh’. My husbands pasta funghi had pieces of pasta clumped/stuck together and was still raw. My sons pasta rossa was nothing special nor creamy nor tasty, I could have whipped that up in my kitchen and made it look better and tastier. This is by far not Italian food. I will never go back. They have spoons and glasses hanging as decoration from the ceiling? Everything feels and looks dirty. That place really needs an upgrade! Way too overpriced for what we got, the owner should be embarrassed.

Bad service. Made my mom wait an hour and a half for a steak they never delivered. They made up and excuse that the meat wasn’t good, but why would it take over an hour to realize this? Very disappointing for her, as she invited everyone over to eat and she herself couldn’t even get to eat. No compensation was offered. They offered only a worthless apology - but apologies don’t fill the belly. After that event the waiter just seemed scared to come to the table so it was hard for my mom to even ask anything. Needless to say, we will not be coming back.

Wonderful ambiance. Friendly waitress. Good choices and good food but prices were a bit high. The lasagna in mushroom sauce was delicious. I didn't really like my carbonara but the tiramisu was excellent.

Oldest trattoria in town. Ask for Juan Manuel, he is the #1.

🫤 Not as good as the Google rating. Fried fish is OK, very basic food. Nothing special here. Service was good. The seating is very poor quality and not as nice as pictured, unfortunately as it is near the water but with no water views.
