Super tasty Korean food and some of the best food we had in Montevideo, Uruguay. We would highly recommend this place. The owner is super friendly and welcoming into the place and they helped us to understand the menu. It was really delicious and the pot stickers were incredible. Highly recommended

We craved Korean food and we were completely satisfied at Arariyo. The food is amazing, really authentic and delicious. The staff was really nice and spoke english. The restaurant itself isn’t really great, it looks like they moved there recently. But again; Food is really great and we will go again.

Awesome family run joint, serving up delicious and authentic Korean dishes! The owner, Kim, was extremely kind, and fun to talk to - we even shared a Soju and beer! The food itself was amazing!! We had perfect dumplings to start, and shared a portion of the fried chicken wings (which were covered in a tangy hot sauce!) and a bulgogi bowl (that was so good, we ended up getting a second one!) - oh! And I almost forgot, but the kimchi and squid you get w every dish is perfection! Would highly recommend!!

Found this place by chance. It’s on a very quiet, assuming street, and I just walked in. The service was great, and food was fantastic. One of the best meals I’ve had in the week I’ve been here. I highly recommend !

I didn't expect to find authentic Korean restaurants in Uruguay! I absolutely loved the food and the service was very nice, too. I will definitely come back here.

I love Korean food and I will definitely return. The interesting thing is the food has been influenced by Uruguayan food, making it more meat focused and less spicy than I would expect. The kimchi was fantastic and the restaurant has our favorite fish that is hard to find in Uruguay, merluza negra.

Place looks quite run down (a/c is working tho!) 💪 but the staff and especially the food are just a gem!!! Shame the on-table grill wasn't available that day but definitely look for it or ask in advance 😉

Well frequented restaurant near Port. Clean place, good cuisine, cheerful and efficient service. We had the fish soup for 2 with a nice selection of side dishes. Other very good meal options available. The only drawback is the somewhat deserted location for evening visits.

You need reservation in weekend. Great original korean food with kind owner and family. The quality is even better ones in San Paulo.

The food is ok, but the prices are insane, in the US for an all you can eat Korean BBQ, it’s typically around $30 depending on the city, at least I’ve never seen anything over $50 per person. It’s hard to believe that the BBQ in Montevideo, which is ok in meat quality but only provide you a single plate of pork belly can somehow charge you $50+. And the pork belly is very thin as well. I’ve had Korean BBQ around the world, even in some quite extravagant places, and I feel the Korean bbq here is a completely ripoff due to its prices. Remember, only a place of maybe 15 thin pork belly slices, including a plate of 2 pieces of onions, some small bowls of kimchi, plus some simple bottled drinks, would cost you $50+ for one meal. You have to remind yourself that even in LA Las Vegas Dubai etc a regular Korean BBQ won’t cost you this much just for a plate of pork belly meal.

We stumbled upon this place accidentally but I'm glad we did. It was my first time trying Korean food so I don't have any bar to compare the food but I liked the food. The place had a good vibe, very accommodating staff. The overall experience is quite nice. I'll suggest giving this place a try.

Best food in Montevideo, Not only is the food amazing, but Martin, the chef is spectacular. Amazing personality and great food. If you’re in Uruguay, this is a must see!
