I wouldn't stay in this hotel in retrospect. To list the many things that went wrong will be exhausting, but to name a few: AC was not available, some staff member was rude and instead of listening tried to play a victim role, the room had many signs of wear and tear including moisture damage, cracks, etc

The room was nice, had all the facilities we needed for the trip. Sadly, the breakfast was really disappointing. We stayed for a week, and specifically requested vegan options for breakfast. We did this beforehand and also on arrival. Then we repeated it to the restaurant staff, as apparently they hadn't been informed. Despite this, we barely got anything to eat most days, as the food that was vegan "ran out" fast. Out of 3 items we could have for breakfast, most days we would get one or two. For a hotel of this rating, I expected much better. The restaurant staff was very friendly, specially the person that greeted us every day.

Rooms and location are fine, as was the service. Maybe it's bad luck, but around 60-90 children were in the hotel lobby for the 2 days we were staying here. The parents using the reception staff as a baby sitter, as there were no parents to be seen for the night. This resulted in us not able to have a drink in the nice bar, or meal in the very average restaurant (avoid the cesaer salad) comfortably with this many screaming children around around, even after 10pm!

Like me, you might find this hotel's pictures are great but you can't smell pictures. Carpeted corridor smelled bad. Room was large but smelled bad, had dirty windows and poor lighting. No hot water for the shower sometimes. Housekeeping forget to leave bath towels and didn't clean room once. Evening manager refused to let me check-out and refund my balance saying only general manager available next morning could do that. Badly managed. Picture I uploaded shows smudge on window housekeeping won't clean and water leak on damaged wall in my room. It should be a 2-star hotel at most. Better stay at Aloft Hotel nearby.

Stayed here for 10 days in 2016. Nice Large Clean Room. The staff was Very friendly and Very Helpful in tracking down some lost luggage. Staff can speak English. The Breakfast Layout Is Fantastic! The Bar that is attached was nice and had a decent crowd by the time i went to be(Uruguayans Stay up Late...) I will stay here again.

Not even 2stars! The lobby is smells like smoke room. They charge additional fees for dining in Dakota when it's not even a pub. And then when you add the bill to room you have to pay additional charges! 🤬 I have never come across such hotel which charges you additionally for adding your restaurant bill to room. Will not stay here for sure. Edit 2 - since the hotel does not accept it's wrongdoings will surely attach my bills! Let everyone see who is wrong 😡 by smoke room I mean it's smelly... Guess lot of people smoke in the lobby please use some air fresheners!

Room was dirty, floor was filthy. Staff left us one towel for two people requested more, never came. Had to chase down room cleaner to get more. Called on safe battery running low and toilet seat broken. Said they would repair it but three day stay never showed. Pool was also dirty and tinted brown.

This place classifies as a hostel in my opinion. The rooms are super outdated, the place is dirty, AC not working, sewage smell coming out of the bathroom and overall overpriced. Coffee machine in the room but without capsules. Avoid if you can.

They did not have the room ready. They gave us a room for 2 when we booked a room for three. They did not apologize they only told us they will send someone. It took a while.for them to bring the extra bed. And they we had to wait for the housekeeping staff to make the bed. They took so long we left the hotel to explore.

Large generic hotel. Room was a good size and clean but very dark without the lights on. Quiet. Good location. Shower was very good. Bath products nice. Towels a bit thin. No tea making facilities but there is a kettle in the lobby you can use. Buffet breakfast is probably the worst I have experienced. Two types of cereal - cornflakes with sugar or without. Stayed 3 nights in April 2022. Located in nice neighborhood, close to shops, nice restaurants, beaches and other venues, very clean room, comfortable bed, had to ask for an iron and a kettle but they brought them immediately, breakfast is copious though lacks fresh products, the rooftop pool with wonderful view is a gem (water not heated, but still maintained in the Fall as late as April). Great stay overall.

Bad: big modern hotel with all the worse aspects of modern hotels. GOOD: One of the Best views from the rooftop terrace and pool (summer only). Only sleep there if you find an offer for less than 39 bucks .Avoid the 'BBQ' restaurant too!
