We've been to Taste three times now. Each time the food and wine have been great. But it's the staff, particularly Ian, who makes Taste special. He is the friendliest server I've had in Montgomery and really elevates the entire dining experience. Mostly recently my wife and I shared a charcuterie board and ordered a bison burger and crab cakes. It was all delicious and served quickly and with a smile. We will definitely be coming back.

We had the meatballs, rib pasta, shrimp with green fried tomatoes, and bread pudding. It was all delicious!!! Our waitress was super helpful and very quick. They have an 11 page wine menu. To quote our waitress "only Costco is cheaper on wine because we'll they are Costco". The restaurant is very clean and we'll decorated. I can't wait to go back again. I have found a new favorite!!!!

This was our first time to visit Taste. We needed dinner before catching a show at Shakespeare. The staff was very professional and helpful in deciding what to try. We tried an assortment of options and they were all great. We really enjoyed the champagne flights and the Christmas themed drinks. I plan to go back to just try more drinks😁

In my Top 5 ever for overall experience. Excellent wine and liquor selection with that perfect balance between friendly and fine dining service. Excellent wine and liquor selection. Crab cakes, watermelon salad and stuffed mushrooms are excellent. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and the ribeye had a perfect blend of flavors with the potatoes. I must emphasize the excellent service from Michelle, start to finish. We will definitely come back next time.

Very nice elegant restaurant...I ordered the Alfredo which was delicious, my husband ordered the steak (he wasn't to pleased with the lack of season/toughness of the steak)....the greeter was super friendly, I hate I didn't get her name.....our server was ok....my only concern is that the vibes didn't seem so welcoming for African Americans....THATS CONCERNING....our culture spends money and has class also....just a little insight to how we feel, if you all would like to fix anything.....hopefully when we return we get to experience top notch service as well

Very cool experience, and very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff! If you're looking to learn about wines, this is a great place to start. Also the food is delicious to go with it! I had the baked brie (PHENOMENAL) and the short ribs Alfredo. I will say, I believe their wine selection is better than the cocktails, but I thoroughly enjoyed my overall experience. Looking forward to going back and trying more

We love TASTE. We will go for a date night, girls night, a quick drink, family dinner with my adult children, or to grab a quick bottle of wine for the house. I adore the flight list, it’s perfect for days when I just can’t quite figure out which wine I want. Sitting at the bar is very popular and fills up quickly so get there early. So thankful for a great local place with yummy food and a beautiful wine list.

Greg was our server tonight. He was outstanding, knowledgeable and very attentive. Food and drinks were amazing as always. That ribeye with Gorgonzola was mouth watering(cheers to the cooks). Heck, every bite was amazing. Always an 10/10 Will be back for sure.

Excellent dine-in experience. The staff is fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Our waiter asked a few key questions and made perfect recommendations for our drinks and food.

Still. After over a year. Totally bad experience. Not friendly at all to certain customers. The food was pretty good, but expensive. Biggest complaint from us and others. They just are not friendly and are prejudice. My wife and I have found many friendly places to dine in the area. With down to earth friendly people. Not Taste. Never going back.

I had a very nice waiter and the food was so good I wanted more. It is definitely an experience to be enjoyed and if you like wine/beer/cocktails. You won't be disappointed and if you want to be taken care of make sure you ask for Jake from taste.

Delicious! Amazing craft beer selection. Everything is made from scratch - the mushrooms, the shrimp scampi dip, the Brie, the extreme gems salad, and the short rib pasta were our favorites.

- If you're looking for a nice up-scale place this is one of the few we have here in Montgomery. This place is located in a beautiful area. The ambiance was very nice. The pictures on google don't do it justice. Very quiet nice date night type place. - Unfortunately me and my date did not enjoy our Valentine dinner. The food just wasn't tasteful. The Short Rib Pasta needed more seasoning. The Grilled shrimp were small and also just "ehh". - The Wine Flights was a nice addition to try different wines if you're unsure or just want to experiment. Also our server (Jacob) was outstanding. Attentive, apologetic and courteous. He also took our pictures for us.

Hands down best dining in Montgomery and surrounding areas. Friendly, inviting atmosphere. Elegant but comfortable. Wide variety of both food and beverages. So much more than wine…and I love wine! I know it’s not easy for small businesses these days. THANK YOU, TASTE for providing a unique, delicious and enjoyable experience for us!!! I recommend y’all over and over again!

Tonight was absolutely the best service I have ever received tonight. Jeremy was my server and he was absolutely awesome tonight! He was completely consistent, attentive and just an absolute joy to be in the presence of. This was the very first time I've been here, but definitely not my last. To anyone who reads this post, go and look for Jeremy, he is the best server I have ever had in my life. Thank you again Jeremy for an amazing out of this world experience. To Management, you have an awesome asset in Jeremy, he should be the example of what type of server you all want in your establishment.

We own the Fantail restaurant in Millbrook and can say without hesitation this place is freaking awesome! This will be a regular stop for us from here out! Food was amazing and service was superb! You guys keep up the good work! We’ll be seeing you soon!

Wow, what a great menu !! We went for a drink and to try the apps we saw online. Our server Jess, was spectacular !! Super knowledgeable of the menu, her drink suggestions were slammin !! Such a variety of craft beers as well (next time).Food was top notch and original, all from a killer scratch kitchen ! Can't wait to return for dinner. And hey Cody, we love you too man ! 😄

First off, Kelly is THE BEST Bartender! The atmosphere is always very warm & welcoming. Jess was our server & was amazing. We had the Baked Brie, Fish & Chips, Lobster Mac & Cheese & lemon butter Cheesecake for dessert. The food was fantastic. I was so excited to see these new items on the menu. I will definitely be back.

Zero stars. Got to say, I love this place. High prices but it's good. But, I am not going to scan a QR code on a tiny cell phone to see the menu. What are they even thinking? Well over half of customers in most surveys think QR codes are a bad idea - and I agreed. With my feet. Did not even order. Ridiculous. Owner get a clue. My bill would have been north of $200 I think.

First off, the service was great. If I might make a minor complaint about the service, the server was a little too attentive, once or twice while we were in serious conversation the server interrupted to check in on us but he quickly got the vibe and found his timing. His understanding of the wine selections, offers for tasting were incredibly helpful. The best part is when asked for a recommendation between two dishes I was thinking about ordering, his response was immediate with conviction. We got the shrimp and tomato stack per his recommendation(see photos) and it was fantastic. It isnt often that I eat something so delicious that the memory of its taste lingers in your mouth the next day. We also ordered the shrimp scampi dip(perfect, 5 stars), and the steak sliders(4 stars, it was seasoned perfectly but the patty was a little chewy, it was one of those things where its hard to prove and not worth making a big deal out of given how fantastic everything else was). If you're looking for a comparable experience to Cooks & Soldiers(Atlanta) in Montgomery, Alabama, Taste is the place to go. Side note: Taste also has a wide variety of cheeses that the rest of my group fully enjoyed but I'm not a cheese guy myself so I cant personally comment on them. Update 1: My wife reminded me that our server was Jake.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We went on a Sunday for my birthday and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Everything was so good that I only managed to take a photo of our drinks and appetizer. The stuffed mushrooms were great! We also got the Taste Fall Salad, Fish and chips, Pork Milanese, and the grand finale was Bread Pudding. Everything was DEVINE. Hot, fresh, perfectly cooked, and perfectly timed. We will be back!

The atmosphere and the food was great! I had family visiting from out of the country, my parents moved to Montgomery few months back, we were visiting them and everyone enjoyed everything! The aged rib-eye was just 🤌. The berry salad was really good with it to balance out the meatiness. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the bread pudding. The wagyu was also good and so was the pork Milanese. The Shrimp scampi was a little bit salty but was fine with the bread. Everyone enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms :) if going in big family, just order the entrees for everyone and order few tapas and salad to share.

I am disappointed by 90% of bread puddings I have tried over my lifetime. However, this establishment is worth going out of your way just to experience their AMAZING bread pudding. Scallops were cooked to perfection & service was impeccable thanks to our waiter, Jake!

A great, comfortable atmosphere with super nice bartenders. Stopped by on my way to Auburn and was super satisfied with the charcuterie and bread pudding. Discovered a new favorite cab from here, will definitely be back!

Very good food, very good service. Had a good waitress that knew the menu and recommendations for pairings. We had a party of 8 and no one was disappointed. Food came out timely and was hot.

This place was a really good and unique experience. The food was amazing (I got the Braised Short Rib)! The atmosphere of the restaurant was mesmerizing. The staff were very kind. We did have to wait a little while to get our dessert and checks, but it was definitely worth the wait and the price.

First time visitor; but definitely not last! Date night approved! The ambience was everything! Food (main entree and appetizers) were amazing! Quick service. Fairy priced. Ample street parking. The only thing that was slightly displeasing, was the champagne cost twice the market price. Overall, I give my stamp of approval!
