The best banana pudding I’ve ever had in my life! 10/10 would recommend

The absolutely best soul food in US! The fried green tomato,the yellow squash casserole ,the greens the Salisbury steak I can start driving back, when I just think about their food! If you are in Montgomery must stop! Every day different menu you can choose from fish to meat to vegetarian. Price $, Stuff 5 stars!

Great staff and food. I had the catfish broccoli casserole and yams. The catfish was thick firm and cook thoroughly with the right amount of coating. Crisp on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. Broccoli casserole was good but they have better sides. The yams were delicious like Thanksgiving. 👍 They are a popular location so don't be upset if there is a line. It actually goes pretty quick. It's worth the wait.

This is a nice hidden little gem here in Montgomery! I’ll tell you, the sides are fantastic! Classic yams, mac, cornbread, greens etc. While I’ve had better fried chicken(s), this still gets an honorable mention for that ole’ southern style cooking. All are welcome and they do accept cash/card. We got two meals for just around $25. Not bad!

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. They had a line about 7 people deep. They moved the line quickly & friendly. Great selection of food. All of the flavors were on point. I think there is an assumption that all southern food kinda tastes the same (like bacon, lol) but that is not the case. Each side had its own distinctive, delicious flavor. Definitely a stop worth making. Thank you!

The food is sooooo good and a plus is that all of the vegetables are cooked with Turkey instead of pork!! Everyone is always nice and I literally feel like family every-time I visit. But that could be because I would go 3 times a week! lol it’s just that good.

I’ve been eating at Mrs. B’s for several years but hadn’t been here lately so I decided to swing by and man was this plate good! The catfish was hot, seasoned, and so flavorful. The greens were a tad sweet and yummy! The yams weren’t too sweet and I couldn’t definitely taste a hint of cinnamon. I loved it!

I LOVE the fact the have a Drive-through😍 I REALLY came in handy today, because I was in a rush. The service was quick & friendly. The food was hot& delicious; I had: baked chicken (dark meat, they were out of white at the time), dressing (tasted like stuffing but still was good), Mac & cheese, & yams. I will definitely be going back. 12/29/2021 I no longer eat here and doesn’t recommend it. The last time I went there which has been a while; they had a lot of flies flying around the food, it wasn’t clean (you could smell old mop water or something coming through the window over the smell of their food, and my friend got sick after eating their food that I told they not to order.

I read the reviews before I decided to try it, but my experience was not a 4 or 5 star posting. Customer service was good and the employees friendly. The food is another story, everything I ordered was bland or too little seasoning. The yams were cooked with way too much cinnamon, greens were very oily and no flavor. Maybe I just went on a bad day.

Chicken 🐔 mini combo food was ok I've had better from this location, I would of just ordered a number one and kept it moving....

Delicious meal again. Perfectly cooked and seasoned collard greens, mac/cheese, yams and fried chicken. Ms B’s has some the best Southern meal ever.

Great stick to your bones food at affordable prices. Loved the turkey and dressing lunch meal, fried chicken was great, squash casserole and field peas were on point. Service was quick and staff was courteous. Definitely recommend for a good lunch spot.

Got a plate and an extra side. I paid for an extra side separate and the lady got tired of waiting for someone to come back to the register so she took the $5 in my hand and kept it. Chicken and dressing was good but sides had a ton of butter, cheese, and garlic.

Food was really good This time food was partially good. The owner has this crew over worked. They can't hear and remember because they doing 100 different things. They can't properly prepare the food, they can't properly serve customers they so tired,drained, and mind just over saturated hopefully they will get help and can rest

The service there was awesome and the atmosphere was perfect. The grits were absolutely perfectly creamy and delicious, and eggs nice and fluffy. The pork chop tho very tasty was dry and overcooked just a bit

Really good food. Had the fried catfish, fried tilapia, and fried chicken. All of them were good and fresh, but fried catfish was the table favorite. The fried chicken was a bit greasy and heavy. Lemonade was a tad sweet, but the sweet tea was delicious.

The food was so authentic and delicious. Service was very personable. Best meal we have had all vacation.

First visit: I would say 2.5 stars. I think we would've received a better quality of food if we were there when they first open. The corn was cold, the lima beans was dry (no juice on bottom), chicken thigh/rice were overcooked, and the yams were okay. However, the collard greens were delicious. Maybe in the future, we will give them another try. The price of the meals were reasonable. Customer Service was great!

My friends and I all agree that some of the food taste is not the same as when they were near Maxwell AFB. Although the food items are good, some items do not have the original flavor such as their collard greens and yams. The yams I had the other day had a medicine taste like not much sugar, cinnamon, or nutmeg. Overall, I must say the liver, turkey and dressing, and the baked chicken are still really good. I'll eat here again.

The food was really good. I had the catfish, Mac& cheese and yams. My husband had the baked chicken and dressing, broccoli and cheese. So much flood i could not eat it all. Would go again.

We had the veggie plate. The greens and cabbage were cooked to perfection. And I don’t usually eat everyone’s Mac n cheese because I like it cooked a certain way, but I tried it here and it did not disappoint!! The roll was really good too. The rice and gravy weren’t that good (the gravy didn’t have flavor). This restaurant is worth the drive.

This is without a doubt one of the best mom and pop restaurants in the area. Food is amazing and extremely well priced for the portion sizes. Expect to leave full and probably slightly sleepy. Mrs. B herself came out to our group to check on us regularly and gave off the vibe that she really cares. Amazing!
