Food was absolutely delish but of course there was a long line. a few items i wanted to order were not in stock which is a bummer, but its a colorful, chill place to dine for some authentic Jamaican food and diverse company. Tried curry chicken for the first time and cant wait to go back!

The food is delicious, fresh, and generous portions! The restaurant is clean, staff extremely friendly. This isn't fast food so don't be bitter if you wait a bit, it's TOTALLY worth it! Jerk Chicken and Salmon were phenomenal

Visited while on a road trip to New Orleans. Wonderfully surprised by the quality of the food here. Cool digs inside with a great island vibe. Friendly servers. Would have rated a 5 star if the service was just a bit quicker and if they had one of the dishes we ordered. It took 15 min for the server to tell us they were out of the peppered beef.

Food was delicious!! They were out of peach lemonade and bammy. Will go again. Smoothie was so good! Highly recommend. 👌🏾

Made a quick trip to Montgomery to visit the Legacy Museum and this was hands down the best food we ate in town. Amazing service, delicious food, and they had great choices for our gluten-free friend. Order wisely, because the portions are HUGE.

I LOVE this place! A great option for those of us who don’t eat meat. They have 4-5 veggie options that tastes good, and their smoothies are good and healthy!! It’s a busy place with great vibes and energy!! A MUST visit!!

The vegan curry goat is DELICIOUS!! Omg, I gotta come back to Montgomery during the week bc they’re not open on the weekends. I got a lot of food for a very reasonable price. Every worker I interacted with was very polite & professional and knowledgeable about vegan options, which really helped bc I’m vegan & my husband isn’t. I’ll definitely be back.

Really impressed with this place. The curry goat was on point and the potato salad was different, but awesome. The plantains were delicious and the recommended Cool Runnings drink was fantastic!

Very excellent food very tasty food. I order jerk chicken. And stewed lamb with red bean rice all dish is excellent. And main thing is they are served tasty oxtail gravy. Excellent service. Dining looking lightning with Jamaican songs. Strong recommendation to come all peoples.

This restaurant has one or two crumpled black and white print signs right when you walk in that say “prices went up due to covid” and NOTHING is indicated on the menus themselves. Therefore, my husband and I accidentally spent almost $50 on lunch. When we questioned the waitress she said “my bad. I didn’t tell you the menu is wrong.” The manager refused to speak with us and now I’ll have to battle the charge with my credit card company. Way to go! Marvelous way to do business 👍

I enjoyed the pepper steak, and the jerk chicken had a great sauce that came with it. My wife liked the goat curry. The juice smoothies were great too.

I loved this place but I’m not sure who’s actually the owner now or who is running the restaurant but today was the first time I didn’t enjoy my food it was dry and the greens tasted like those canned greens too salty and these don’t taste like ox tails the meat texture was off and flavor nonexistent. Safe to say I just gotta cook my own from now.

Food was great. Wait times were pretty long for food to get to the table, but staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. They were incredibly busy while we were there. So, that no doubt contributed to the time we waited.

The place was overrun with a local conference and the staff was a bit short and uncoordinated. We waited around 40 minutes at a table just to get our order taken, BUT the food was amazing and well worth the wait.

Nice, friendly, warm, and inviting atmosphere when entering. Food is prepared upon arrival, and was hot and very well seasoned. The oxtails and plantains were on point. The food is definitely worth every bit of the money... just have to make it a special occasion spot.

Absolutely phenomenal. The jersey wings were more than great and the value was outstanding. We had 12 people show up and the service was on point!! Highly recommend!!

I met a friend for lunch today and had a great experience. Their health rating was a 95 and their staff was very nice and prompt with their service. They were out of the chicken dish I originally wanted so opted for the jerk chicken, which was delicious. My only issue was that the music they played helped to set a fun tone but was a little loud and made talking and listening more difficult but all in all good experience and that will be back.

Ordered food during lunch with barely anyone in the restaurant and it still took over an hour to get my order which was only one oxtail plate and water. I wanted a refund since I had to be back to work after taking the entirety of my lunch but they refused so I had to deal with their unorganized customer service in trying to find out the status of of my order. Once received, the taste was ok but definitely not worth the wait nor the price in my opinion.

My office went her for a co-workers lunch today. We waited over an hour to get appetizers and and 30 minutes for our food. Which we ended up asking for to go boxes. There was a 20% gratuity’s added to each bill. Which would have been no problem if we were served. No apologies or anything. Sadly disappointed in our experience.

We tried this place for the first time during a stop at Prevail Union Coffee. The jerk chicken is FANTASTIC! The flavors and heat are perfect. We will stop in more often!

Food was delicious! We had oxtails, Jerk chicken and brown stew chicken were all seasoned.. The Mac-N-Cheese was great as well..Didn't give 5th star because they were out of Bammy and sweet peach tea. The Peachy Smoothie was the bomb.. Will visit every time we come to Montgomery.

Great great food ! Friendly/ wonderful staff But baby the wait time is horrible i been here 3 times Dine in and Take out . All 3 times waiting an hour to get my food . BUT the food definitely comes out HOT!

Had the Roti and Curry Goat. Me being Trinidadian the Roti was too oily and thick. I got a lot of goat meat, and the flavor was great. I will rate my experience 6 out of 10.

The food is good but high prices small portions. Call in order only to have to wait until I arrive to make a chicken patty(20minute wait time). They Charge gratuity on EVERY order including to go orders. I Ordered plantain as a side and was very disappointed to only see two plantains on my plate. Not comparable to any other Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to. Not sure if I’ll return to this place.

I got the big man ah yaad (curry goat, oxtail, and jerk chicken) with rice & peas, plantain, and Mac and cheese. Everything was well cooked and filled with flavor (I am jamaican born and raised). The mac & cheese, jerk chicken, and curry goat were the standouts. The only that stopped this from being a 5 star visit was the wait time (20-30 minutes) for carryout at noon. Order ahead if possible! But overall a great place.

This restaurant is definitely worth a try, because the food is absolutely phenomenal! The customer service was amazing, especially being serviced by Cherry our delightful waitress. She took additional time to expound on the menu items and her favorite recommendations, along with local attractions. We appreciate all the kindness and diligent work she provided on my family's behalf. We will most certainly come back!!!
