Passing through town on our way from Florida to Georgia. We wanted something unique and not fast food. We did a quick Google search for restaurants in Montgomery and found Chappy’s Deli. We called in our order and picked up inside. WOW. Every one of our meals were delicious. Highly recommend The Cuban! My buddy had The Windy City and loved it. One of us also had the Double Cheeseburger and he loved that as well. Nothing wrong here! Definitely suggest you try this place out!

Chappys's was fantastic as always. Everything served fast, fresh and hot. Server was very attentive and welcoming, and my Grilled Club Platter was simply scrumptious! From the finely cut deli style turkey and ham, to the crisp yet chewy bacon smothered in melted cheddar cheese, I savored every bite of my sandwich! The sides of chips and potato salad complimented it superbly. I HIGHLY recommend the Grilled Club Platter, a definite must for lunchtime 😋 😀

Review update - We are regular, loyal customers of Chappy's who have eaten here for years. During the pandemic we have been getting our food to go. I like to get breakfast from Chappy's a couple of times a week, but the last two meals I've had stale toast. I normally order sourdough toast and the kitchen has a bad habit of giving me these tiny pieces that come from the ends of the loaf. So we started requesting they don't do that. Now they give me bigger pieces that are stale and hard as a rock. If you read the other reviews you'll notice I'm not the only person complaining about stale bread. Previous review: Great, consistent local place. The breakfast is very good and lunch is even better. We have tried a lot of the items on the menu and haven't found a bad meal yet. I particularly like the chicken salad supreme sandwich and the grilled steak melt. The onion rings are awesome and I like their horseradish sauce with them. They have great, friendly service and free soft serve ice cream after your meal. The desserts are also awesome.

The customer service is great. We ate here on two different occasions. On the first time we dined in the restaurant. Our server (whose name escaped my mind) was very knowledgeable of the selections offered. He was energetic and patient. On the second time we pulled up in one of the order to go spots in front of the restaurant. Once we parked, the wait wasn't long at all before a server came to take our order. She was courteous and energetic plus she too had a thorough knowledge of Chappy's menu. I ordered a club sandwich minus the ham and bacon. I loved it. I also enjoyed the chicken soup. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was good. I only tasted that from the order of the person who was accompanying me. I definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch. The only thing is that it will be crowded and the parking lot will be packed with cars.

Very friendly, got there before the lunch rush, good choices on the menu. I had the rueben on dark rye, fries are .75 cents extra (fries were cold), french dip looked very good, wrap and burger also very good. Kids under 6 eat free (thank you!) Ice cream cone at the end is a nice touch. Great experience!

Neat dining experience with old school dinner appeal. Excellent food, I had the patty melt and my husband had the Cuban. Both were delicious. Wait staff and hostess very nice, very clean location.

Scot at the Perry Hill Road Chappy’s Deli location is absolutely TOP NOTCH! I pick up lunch frequently from here, and each visit when I see him he immediately remembers what I like to order, and will often bring my tea out to me prior to me ordering. He’s simply an authentic, delightful person and his natural demeanor makes it a pleasure to stop in to Chappy’s. Consistently great food as well. HIGH FIVE to Scot for putting a smile on the faces of his customers!! 😀 🙌🏻

So disappointing and a waste of money. Mostly shredded lettuce, half an egg, one cherry tomato cut in half, two paper thin slices of cucumber and three olives with two pickle slices. There was some shredded lunch meat and cheap bacon bits as well. We used to enjoy getting salads from here, for the money we may as well buy our own ingredients and have good salads with more than lettuce. They also forgot a salad dressing, thankfully we looked. What a bummer. Over the years they’re just nice people, the value isn’t there anymore.

Decent food, but we don’t need to go anyplace where people can openly carry guns. That kind of ruins the appetite, doesn’t it. Yes, it’s state law, and yet still poor practice. God and guns. Hmmm.

I am a frequent customer at this location. The breakfast is always done right and filling. I love their burgers and pancakes. They have exceptional customer service. I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the cooks Sedrick a new employee. I always eat at the tables outside and even off the clock the employees make sure the customers are taken care of. He was polite and took time away from his studies to converse with me and come to find out we attend the same church (small world). I give this visit a 5 🌟 and recommend anyone who wants great food and customer service to choose the Perry Hill location.

The food here is always great. We've come several times, and they make small mistakes that are understandable and easily remedied if we ever complain. The service is always absolutely fantastic!

The both times I went, they left items off my salad that I ordered and put olives on my salad after I specifically told her several times NO OLIVES. Hospitality sucked. That was surprising because they usually are energetic and greet you loud as soon as you enter the establishment.

MAN this was good! The unique vibe, complimentary ice cream to “finish off,” the low key friendly fast service, the vintage funky ambiance and the food were all great, but you know what I liked best? Their fu sense of humor 🤩 I wish I lived here and could come here regularly.

I had never been to Chappy's, so glad to have had the chance today. The bacon cheese burger was huge. The meat was like a homemade patty, not the typical compressed fast food patty. It had all the fixings, lettuce, tomato & onion. Delicious! The shoestring fries were hit & crispy. Our server was sweet & friendly & very efficient & helpful.

Been going here for breakfast for about two weeks. People are friendly and food is 7/10. I have not dined it but it seems like a great place to do so. You can even order from your car. Will go back. Oh and they have that crushed ice everyone loves!

My husband and I love coming to Chappy's Deli for breakfast. The portion sizes are just enough to satisfy your hunger. The customer service we received is always pleasant and welcoming. We will continue to go here for breakfast.

Nice location...great staff!! So, I drove to the Chappy's on Camichael Road, decided to just sit outside and place my order over the phone. About 5 minutes go by and out walks a manager to my car. He was nice and friendly and asked if I had ordered yet. I told him yes and what I had ordered. He smiled and said I'll go check on that for you. He comes back in 10 minutes and tells me that he caught the order before they could full fill it. I was a little confused. He smiled and said "you actually placed your order with another location but we got you!" Chappy's on Carmichael Road, I am speechless.. you guys are THE VERY BEST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I haven't seen or experienced fantastic customer service like this in years!!! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!

Fancy sandwich shop could have got more for my money at Subway. My kids were still hungry. Order soup for 9 yr old it looked like they gave her a scoop of soup. My 7 yr old sandwich was a slice of cheese a slice of turkey and only bread. Very dry a lot of plain chips with two pieces of pickle and maybe three pieces of animal cookies 😂 Lol!
