I have been eating here for years. I went there for the first time since the pandemic the other day. They didn't have the buffet they did before, which was sad. The General Tso's chicken with fried rice was delicious though. As usual the portions were literally a box full and filled me right up. It is a cute place but all the tables were pushed to the side and the buffet area was being used as extra storage, which was a little off putting. The people were of course friendly and service was fast and accurate. Would definitely go there to fulfill any Chinese food craving. Though next time I will probably get it to go. I had planned to eat there so I ate at one of the booths that weren't blocked off, I needed to not be at the office for a bit, but as I am a large person it was a bit claustrophobic.

I had the chicken and broccoli with fried rice with shrimp, with egg rolls and it was great. The best Chinese food that I had. I will definitely be coming back to try some other choices on the menu.

Staying in Montgomery on our way back home to NC and decided to try Hunan Garden and boy are we glad we did! The food was hot, delicious, fresh and plentiful! We got roast pork fried rice, roast pork lo mein and spring rolls, all just delicious! When we travel back this way in a few months we will be sure to eat here again! Great service! If I could give the food 10 stars I would !

Great “hole in the wall” place for delicious Asian food. Good price, many vegetables, the chef came out and made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Have been a long time customer since my return home years ago. My favorite Chinese Restaurant . The quality of the food is fabulous. Im very funny about my food. I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, friendly happy faces always so pleasant and patient. They are family oriented and show you how much they value your patronage. To sit down for a meal while watching how they interact with my babies and grandkids who smile and feel comfortable with their service and attention won me over years ago. #loyalFanSince2016#

To answer in response to Josef. Our fountain water is linked to the sink water. The sink water is clean and it is NOT from the ditch. Every customer of ours who gets water from the fountain never says anything about our water. I think that you are a very disrespectful customer as you said our fountain water tastes like it was from the ditch. If you don’t like our water, then don’t come back to our restaurant. We don’t do business from disrespect and rude customers. So please don’t come back next time. Thank you very much.

It is by far my favorite Chinese To-Go place in the tri-county area. They they are fast, they are DELICIOUS, and very precise with the order. Even talked to the chef about the spice level of a order, that great man adjusted the recipe for me! I recommend Hunan Garden to literally everyone when they mention To-Go Chinese stores. Yes they have a few minor covid precautions up but I don't blame them because no one wants to get sick at all. It's just a film that you can easily hear and interact through. Plus with them being out of the way of the main shopping center, they are easy to get to. Tons of easy parking. TLDR: Hunan Garden is awesome. They slap on competitors pretty hard. 14/10

Ordered online, got there, they didn't see order. Ordered, sat and wait on order, spent over $35 bucks. Got home, food ok for taste, but eggrolls missing from order, smh. Let's just say its not at top of list to revisit

To me, their kung pao shrimp with fried rice is the best in town. Fresh ingredients cooked by an excellent cook! Kind staffs, too. The lunch menu price and its quality are unbeatable.

Great food and great customer service. This is the absolute BEST place in town to go for Chinese food. I ordered from this place for the first time tonight as I was tired of my usual go to place (due to their terrible customer service every time I went in but not this place!). Shortly after ordering, my car would not start and after an hour of trying to get it to start they called me to let me know my food was ready (rightfully so as it had been an hour since I had placed my order). Even then they were still so polite and after I explained my situation, I offered to re order on grub hub so I could pay for my food that way since I still could not get my car to start but the man on the phone immediately offered to drop my food off as they were slow at the moment and I only lived 5 minutes away. Upon arriving, the man went above and beyond and even helped me jumpstart my car. You cannot ask for better customer service than that. The only place I will be ordering from and recommending from now on.

ordered on GrubHub and the food was delivered hot, fresh and it was delicious! I have not had takeout chinese in a loooong time and I would order from this place again! We order sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoons, and teriyaki chicken and it was all amazing! The sweet and sour sauce was not too sweet, the steamed rice was sticky just the way asian rice should be! The rangoons were delicious!

Water from the fpund tasted like it was from a ditch. I hope they were not using the same water for cooking. Food was okay. Facilities are severely lacking. No public restroom. Large orders slowed.

This place is wonderful. Food is bangin everytime, they never miss. Comes out super fast, staff is very friendly and attentive. Portions are wild for the price. My favorite Chinese place in the state.

Super friendly folks and they seem to have a loyal following but the food just didn’t taste good. It was very different from other Hunan places we’ve eaten.

I have never had a bad experience with them until today. I ordered as usual and my man found a bug in his food. You could easily see that the bug had been cooked with the food. He had already eaten a few bites and when he went for another there it is was. He called them.They requested that he bring it back. Mind you he is at work. They had no manager or no email to contact to show them the contaminated food. So I had to pick his food back up and take it to them. I’m disgusted with the whole experience! They never apologized to him or me in our interactions. They only talked amongst each other. This was so rude and unprofessional. I will never eat here again.

I have been eating at this place for years. Their food is amazing. The employees there are also very friendly. I have also met a lot of people at this place. They’ve told me some of their experiences with other customers. They said that some customers are very rude and unfriendly. I agree with them. Some customers are just so rude. Some customers bring their food home and then eat about have of their food and then find a bug or insect in their food. I’m not sure if they found an insect somewhere in their home to put it on the food to make it look like the restaurant workers cooked their food with insects. I have never found a single insect in my food with all the years that I’ve been eating at their place. I really recommend this place. Again, amazing food and very friendly employees!

Ordered large and received about .75 oz cooked chicken for almost $9 for each meal before tips and tax. Number one china is a much better option for the exact same menu.
