I got the fried green tomatoes…EXCELLENT!!! Perfectly cooked by the ladies, chef, crispy hot with ranch dressing! I was in heaven! My husband got the shrimp and grits bowl, delicious just a little salty. Restaurant was clean, we enjoyed our visit.

Let me say, the cashier was supper nice and helpful. Let's get into the food. 1. The gouda Grits 3/4 (4/5 if you eat it with the catfish.) 2. Catfish 5/5 (fried very well) 3. Blackened peacon salmon 5/5 (This sauce SLAPS!! It is so good. The cashier mentioned they toss them on wings too and I'm sure it tastes well.) 4. Hushpuppies 5/5 5. Wharf platter 4/5 ( My husband had this, so he rated it.) 6. The smash potato 10/10!!!!!!!!!! These were so good, I ordered more!!! I would eat here again! It was so delicious. I wanted to try the fried green tomatoes, but was full.

I haven’t been here in a few years, and I noticed new menu items today so I got the Blueberry Lemonade and the Loaded Fried Green Tomatoes, and let me tell you, run! lol run and place your orders because the food is delicious but these 2 new menu items are so good! You know it’s good when the appetizer becomes your entree! And this lemonade, listen, go ahead and ask for one to go because it’s just that good!

If you want a delicious southern fish dish, this is your place! Great service and delicious food in a casual setting. Their menu has a great variety of options as well!

I ate with my mom here the last day I was in town. Definitely some of the best food I had in Montgomery this trip.

Wife and I were looking for something different to eat on a Friday night and came across The Wharf Seafood. Got inside and ordered very easily. First out came out appetizer of Loaded Fried Green Tomatoes..... Let me just say WOW! I don't know what all is included with loaded, but I will say it may be the best appetizer ever! I know there was goat cheese, bacon, and a whole lot of other goodness, but my God it was absolutely fantastic, a must try. My wife got the Cajun Shrimp and Grits and I had the Blackened Redfish Dinner with Cheese Grit and Greens. The greens came out and I was expecting to taste canned greens but was pleasantly surprised that they were quite flavorful. The Blackened Redfish was a bit over done, but was good none the less. My wife's Shrimp and Grits wasn't quite to her liking but she said it was fine too. The GM, David was out checking on diners and came to our table and asked how was everything. My wife told him about her dish and he explained how it was prepared and that she may want to try their house seasoning instead of Cajun style on our next trip. We thanked him for the suggestion. All in all a very good dining experience. David even brought her a piece of cake to make up for her not totally enjoying her food choice. THAT shows customer service, something that is sorely lacking in many food establishments today. We will definitely be back!

Such good food!! We came hungry and got our food pretty quick. Some of the best lemonade we have ever had. My son LOVED the Wharf sauce. The fish was so good we ened up getting seconds. Hush puppies we awesome. The staff was so sweet and helpful. They made you feel like they had known you for years and were so accommodating.

Had the whiting basket. (It’s simply referred to as “fish” on the menu). Lightly breaded, which IMO is a plus. Hush puppies were tasty. Excellent value at $10.99, especially for seafood. Note: The whiting is not a filet, but rather chunks. I prefer filets. The smoked Gouda cheese grits did not live up to the expectation that the pairing of Gouda and grits conjures.

Just came in again for a quick lunch and they did not disappoint! Phillip, the manager was awesome and very friendly. He was also very knowledgeable of the menu and made suggestions. This Lobster Grilled Cheese with Sweet Potatoe Fries was the BOMB! He suggested it and it turned out to be awesome! I will definitely continue to support this establishment!

Great casual seafood dining. Dishes are prepared fresh to order, and served hot! Pretty good entree lineup with a nice selection of sides. My personal favorite are the Blackened Shrimp & Fried Oysters with Gouda Cheese Grits and Fries. Definitely a Recommended visit!

It was ok...not quite what I expected. I was hoping for more home like fish and got what was almost like fish nuggets on my WHARF platter and they were a bit greasy. The crab cake was all cake and no crab...unappetizing the hush puppies were actually good...the best thing on the plate. The shrimp were cooked nicely and I like the twang of both the cocktail and tarter sauces. My sides were the cheese grits...1* they were runny and not seasoned well enough and greens got no stars not cooked thru and I didn't like the seasonings....I will try more menu options but this was a good first taste.

We happened upon this jewel! How many ways can I say the SERVICE and FOOD were excellent? We were traveling back to Atlanta with two Seniors celebrating their birthdays. We walked in to an immaculately clean restaurant and encountered Jonathan. He described dishes and offered taste tests to insure we selected items we would enjoy. All of staff and even patrons were cordial and friendly. As first timers we tried a variety of items and loved them ALL. I definitely suggested the loaded fried tomatoes.

We ate lunch here to celebrate my mom, brother and dad's birthdays. We received the best service from Tyrone and Shameka (I think that was her name). The food was good but the service was better. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate. I can't put into words how special they made is feel. I will definitely go back if I'm back in town.

The hush puppies and potatoes were absolutely amazing! Dripping with flavor and very filing . Decent prices for what you are getting. I would recommend. I even got a nice new cup from here. The reason for my 4 star rating is because the shrimp was a bit too salty. With some sauce it helped, but it was a bit hard to get through. Thank you for the great customer service & amazing experience. EDIT: I have to change my rating from 4 to 5!* they really redeemed themselves on the honey pecan chicken and amazing almond toffee dessert !! I’m now going to continue to have this as my top seafood for now ! :)

Food was great, especially the fried oysters and crab cakes. The loaded mushroom app was delicious as well. Nothing special about the atmosphere/location.

Wonderful, quaint atmosphere. Great customer service - went back after I placed my order and asked for a sampler gumbo and they comped the gumbo for me. Hush puppies were very good. Fried catfish was also good. Server Becca was quick to give free refills. Very nice place.

Friendly staff, short wait time, very clean dining area, WONDERFUL food! I recommend the Mahi Mahi tacos and hushpuppies.

Relocated to Montgomery from New Orleans so hard for me to rate 5 stars on seafood restaurants but i really enjoyed the shrimp and grits, as well as the honey pecan shrimp. Will definitely try some other menu items next time.

Just got into town from Ocala, FL and wanted something easy for dinner. We stopped at the Wharf and had a couple of shrimp baskets. We'll let me tell ya the honey pecan is delicious, the red beans and rice were just right to pair with the shrimp. Beth the manager was super nice and accommodating. Thank you Wharf for a great experience.
