On a lousy evening after a long road trip, thought I will grab some Chinese food. Guy at the counter with a bun doesn’t smile at all. Felt like he is doing me a favor by giving me food. The guy who served was unenthusiastic too. I felt they are over worked. The portion was actually good for a plate, cooking was decent, but I had better. Never had such plain “fried rice” though. Just yellow rice without any egg or anything. That was surprising. I left with a sigh’. I need some bubble tea, where to next?

Almost no meat, all onions. This is absurd. I’ve been coming to Top China for YEARS. And have never experienced anything like this. Highly disappointed

The best Chinese place in the city when we are talking about good, quality Chinese food. I love how their workers actually care about their job and people’s food. The staff is always so pleasant, and the food is always good. But y’all please lay off the vegetable oil. It’s beginning to be a bit much.

Haven’t had in 7 years because I led the city. But went back and the food was still good.

Their honey chicken wings are amazing!! As well as their pepper steak. Customer service and the way they speak to people needs a lot of work.

This was my first experience with Top China restaurant. I did not know what to expect so I ordered two lunch entrees. They come in a what appears to be a small covered bowl. The food is cooked to order and is very hot in temperature. I was able to only eat the bourbon chicken. I have the teriyaki chicken for another meal. I did not know how the food would be...... I thought it was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. 09 August 2023. I failed to mention that while it comes in a small bowl, when I emptied it out onto a plate, it covered the entire full size dinner plate. I knew at that moment I would not be able to eat both bowls. I felt it was well worth the $6.95 I paid for lunch entree. I will be back to this restaurant for another delicious lunch. Please remember if you have to wait a while for your order, be patient it is being prepared freshly. 25 August 2023 I ate my to go lunch entree here at the restaurant. They have tables. I brought my own leak resistant paper plate with me. I ordered the L 4. Moo Goo Gai Pan. I had no idea what it was, but I enjoyed it very much. I took a photo. It looks darker than the it should be because I added two packs of soy sauce. I am okay with sodium chloride. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great quality, it was about $11 for large shrimp fried rice, and a large portion, I'm not from here but great job Top China.

I hated it. The rice was super greasy and was not good. I couldn't believe that it was bad as it was. They need to learn from the American deli employees (who aren't even Chinese ) how to fry rice. Very basic part of eating Chinese food..... decent rice

Not good at all. That bourbon chicken I had was awful. The sauce was so thick and the chicken tasted like it was frozen. The rice was decent but nothing to buy again.

Always good! This visit I got house special lo mein size large at least enough for 3 meals. If you have never had "house special" it means the disk has chicken, pork, beef and shrimp! And NOT tiny salad shrimp either.

Oh my, if you want Chinese go here!! I've had many things from there: lo mien, honey chicken wings, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, bourbon chicken, etc and EVERYTHING was delicious!! You won't go wrong here the portions are large which nowadays the price of everything its nice getting a great deal for your money!!

Nothing but awesome reviews. This has definitely got to be the best Chinese restaurant in Montgomery ✌️I have been eating her for over 10 years. The owner and there kids are always professional and courteous. I remember when the kids were younger and watching there parents teach them the business. I always ordered the pork fried rice with 2 spring rolls and 2 regular egg rolls ☺️ I usually order online and my experience was phenomenal. Keep up the good work and thank you for always delivering great customer service.

Been eating here for near 20 years. The staff is not friendly. That gets old after a couple decades. Been trying to tip our way into a simple smile out of these people, it don’t help. The food is sometimes great sometimes not even decent = inconsistent. Call in orders are often a waste of time, they won’t make it until you show up and pay, defeating the purpose of calling in. It’s easier to give a little grace when people try to be nice but this place hates everyone. Best of luck.

Top China has horrible customer service. I placed a phone order for Shrimp Rolls and Sweet & Sour Shrimp. They messed up my order and gave me Sweet & Sour Chicken & regular Egg Rolls. I called back & explained that they got my order wrong. The lady that answered the phone was very rude. She argued with me & told me it was my fault, because she repeated the order twice. She also told me that I would have to bring the food back & pay the difference. I did not have a problem returning the food or paying the difference. However I live 30 minutes away plus it is concerning & unsanitary to take food back that has already left the restaurant. I will never eat here again. Do better!

The cashier's customer service skills are wanting. He acted like he was bothered. At first I thought it was me, but as I observed he displayed the same cold attitude with the other patrons. If someone is patronizing your business, have the courtesy to fake niceness. You have lost a patron.

Staff was neutral, which is nice because they were fast for the large order I had. The food was amazing, and everything the food is served in is microwave safe. I plan to go back again here soon. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are amazing!!

The food is fresh and the taste is always perfectly seasoned with great flavor. They should work on their customer service (they are not always warming and friendly) the atmosphere does not provide a fine dining experience which I’m ok with.

This was actually my favorite Chinese food place in Montgomery. I had never had any problems before, but this recent time I went there was a long piece of straight dark brown hair in my food. My hair is black and curly. Definitely will never be eating here again.

I will never eat here again period. I order a combo shrimp and broccoli with onions meal and this is what i got a brown beetle at the bottom.

My niece has eaten here before, and the food was great! They give a nice portion of food. However, today, when I went to order, they messed up the order but that’s OK… The problem is that they also burned my food! It was a to go order and I live an hour away so, by the time I got home and opened up my Mei Fun… You could smell the char burn on it and you can taste it in the noodles! The shrimp egg foo yong I ordered probably taste nice without the sauce, but I put the sauce on like I normally would only the sauce taste like salty, hoisin sauce, which doesn’t go with egg foo yong at all. I have eaten Chinese food most of my life even when visiting China and I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! Go in my food, one time, and I will never come back so all of you may not care. This is a customer who will never return.

Take out only spot. Food is top tier- we have had nothing bad here. Love their lo mein. Closed on Tuesday.

Honestly this food is like if God personally made it every time I order. ESPECIALLY the steamed dumplings, haven’t had dumplings as good as theirs anywhere else. The fried wontons are also amazing. I usually get sweet and sour or honey chicken to go with my dumplings and those are always fantastic too. Customer service isn’t great but honestly I’d rather the food be good than the people being nice. Top tier Chinese food, doesn’t get any better than this.

Still really good. Dining room still closed, but I’m sure they love that since there is ALWAYS a line!!!

Covid is over. These windows are ridiculous. At some point we have to stop being divided by democrat socialists under the guise of covid and come back together. That point was a year ago. Take these plexiglass contraptions down and quit with the stupidity.
