This is a gem of a restaurant. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. I ordered a Coor's light and it was ice cold. They actually had a very large selection of draft beers and an awesome selection of liquors, they even had Blanton's. I wasn't real hungry so I just ordered crab claws which were unbelievable good. I also got an order of hushpuppies which one some of the best I have ever had! Highly recommend Fantail's!

Service was phenomenal! Ribeye Crisps were good but a little over cooked. Shrimp was fantastic and fresh. Mac & Cheese head so much flavor! Gumbo was nothing short of amazing! The hushpuppies are everything you could ever want them to be

Food is amazing 👏 we sat at the bar and the staff was so nice. The owner was nice and even made me a custom drink. They even have live music! We will be back for sure! Perfect date night place.

Really great Fried Shrimp Basket! The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The food was hot and came out quick.The chicken basket was a bit small. I would say the portions are a little small. However there is some great options for dessert. The atmosphere is was really good. Smells like new wood and decorated in nautical themes. The man who greeted us at the door was extremely nice. All the southern hospitality was in that one dude at the door. He couldn’t have been happier to see us. There was a musician setting up. Testing his guitar. I wish he had played, sounded great. Our waitress was a bit meh, she didn’t know the menu very well. Otherwise it was a great experience. It was really close to the interstate and hands down some of the best juicy shrimp I have had in a while. We will definitely return.

The Steak was superb. The Large Red Jumbo shrimp was grilled to perfection. The oysters where fresh. The Triggerfish was flaky and rich. What a turnaround for what was a buffet style restaurant. They now have a beautiful "take you on a date" atmosphere with a very nice selection of cocktails and menu that will make you come back to try something different.

My husband and I were just there celebrating our 35 anniversary. This was our first time here and went on recommendation of a friend. It was AWESOME!!! We give this restaurant owner and his staff 5 stars because we couldn’t give them 10! They have a very good health score, the place is very clean, including the bathroom. I want them to know it didn’t go unnoticed that they changed out the table cloth after each customer and you get real cloth napkins! It was truly the best dinning experience we have had in the last 2 years. Great attention to details. We want to also thank our server Aubrey. You are AWESOME at your job!!! You made us feel extremely welcome and you were very attentive. You even timed each course of our meal perfectly down to our take home desert. We want to thank you all for a wonderful dinning experience.

Really enjoyed the dinner experience with Fantail Seafood & Steakhouse! We were sat towards the back, which would have been nice for a date but we still enjoyed the view. I ordered. The seafood platter with a baked potato (premium side) and fried okra. All were delicious and mouth watering! 🤤 My friend ordered the ribeye topped with garlic butter, a baked potato and okra. She loved every bite as well. The service was great and the owner stopped by to talk with us! I will definitely recommend to others!

Loved it ! Tyler was such a personable server, and David the Mgr. was so accommodating. He took our custom order for the Fantail special, we even ordered the Bloody Mary non-alcoholic. We will definitely go back. Thanks so much.

We recently went to Fantail after they changed over from buffet style and loved it. The desserts are lovely and the food is well prepared. The service has been great both times we were there and so was the food. If you go, I recommend the cheesecakes and any of the fish with the red pepper sauce. It's really good and has a nice bite to it without overwhelming the seafood. Honestly, if they put that with the fried gator appetizer, I would probably get that every time.

We went to Fantail for their oysters, but they ran out of it. Get there early and sit at the bar. You'll be able to chat with the owner (?). The Dungeness crab was so delicious! The garlic butter was a little too salty though. Bourbon Pecan Cheesecake, Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake were all amazing!

The food was delicious! The lunch options were small portions, but the flavor was worth the price! Loved the decor/atmosphere! Friendly staff! Will definitely go again!

Lunch was amazing. I had the shrimp wrap special for the day. Great flavor. Friend had meatloaf and vegetables. Bragged on every bite, it was so good. Taking some home to his wife.

Love everything about this place! We have had brunch here every week since they’ve started serving it. The food is always fabulous and the service is on point!

Celebrated my 49th birthday at the Fantail Seafood Restaurant tonight. This was our second visit and the customer service was exceptional both times! I don't know if the manager on duty is also the owner but he is fantastic! The food is delicious especially the hush puppies!

Best range of tastes and textures I have had in a long time in this area. My husband and I got several items from the menu to share and we both enjoyed every forkful. Grouper and risotto, fried green tomatoes, clam chowder, ribeye with asparagus and lump crab meat. Each dish was generous and we absolutely brought food home. Wish I took more pictures so you could share in the beautiful plating. Amazing chef, and outstanding service. A must do!

We tried Fantail for the first time and let me tell you, IT WAS AMAZING!!! The service, the food, the atmosphere and the entertainment was on point. We didn’t catch the owners name but he was so nice. The young man shucking oysters was the bomb. Tyler, our server was awesome and very personable. We will tell everyone about Fantail. We can’t wait to go back.

The shrimp dipped in the butter sauce tastes like lobster. The steak tastes like a Texas or Midwest cut of meat cooked to perfection. Best of all is the hand made deserts that melt in your mouth to savor! So glad they are not a seafood buffet and they cook it right!

Enjoyed lunch at Fantails this week. I had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich that was very good but huge! Not a problem since they provided a doggie box. Would have liked a side salad, but the waitress said that was $7 extra to sub for the fries. Husband had the smoked wings special and chose Buffalo from several options. The wings were very large and flavorful. The only improvement he felt was to deep fry to crisp up the skin. Great atmosphere.

The fried catfish, fried & grilled shrimp, and steak were amazing!! The hush puppies were delicious. However, the Shrimp & Grits were not fit to eat…absolutely the worst $28 dish I have had to pay for in a restaurant of this caliber, EVER!! If you are from the south, you would wholeheartedly agree. The texture was runny, the dish had rubbery and cold pork belly chunks in it, raw onion pieces, and it pretty much tasted like a mouth full of raw onions with a spoonful of Cheez-Whiz with a sprinkle of parsley on top of it. I recommend NOT ordering it. One hard cider, two teas, a steak, a order of popcorn shrimp, and my plate of cheesy onion goo was $127. So this is a pricey restaurant to boot—expect a pricey bill! If the food is good, I have no problem paying these type prices, but my bowl of watery cheese grits with rubbery shrimp and cold pork belly chunks was not worth $28!

Place was cool. Prices did not match the food. Very high priced for mediocre food. The low country boil in the photo was $30.00. Kids meals are 8.00 each. Most entries were served all a cart and sides ranged from 4-11 dollars per. Lots of extra charges. Charged for using a CC. Want your steak cooked medium well, that will be 5 extra.

My family and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere!! Beautiful melodies while we filled our tummies. The hush puppies were amazing!! You must try the coleslaw and the catfish!!! Oh and did I mention their dessert? We got the Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake with whipped cream it is truly heaven sent!!
