Being from out of town, we were unaware this was their first day opening after the Covid shut down. The food was absolutely amazingly delicious!!! The atmosphere was outstanding!! We actually had an entire room to ourselves!! Our server, Jason, was outstanding! I had the hash brown casserole, sausage and grits. The grits were the absolute best I have ever had in my life!! I was looking around for a refill ..... which the owner, James, made sure I had in no time! My fiancee had biscuits and gravy with sausage on the side and James also provided more gravy when requested. We are returning to Montgomery in a few weeks and we will be returning!!

Great service and decent food. The beer selection was not expansive. However, all the beers on tap were regional craft beers. My burger was a little meat loafy, but tasty. Fries seem to be hand cut. The view of downtown was really nice. We sat in the front yard under a nice shady tree. I would definitely come back to this place.

Had a great time! Shrimp and grits were awesome. Super friendly staff and very attentive. And the goats were a huge treat! Highly recommend!!!

Now open again! Dine in, carry out too. Fantastic meals with a German influence. Be sure to bring your designated driver if you like German biers!

Great environment. Great view. Food was fantastic we had the Goat Mountain Shrimp and Grits!!! The staff is friendly and informative. Been to the area tons of times and I just found this place! We will definitely be back!

Great location sitting on a hill overlooking Montgomery downtown, ASU, the river, and the rest of the city -views for days! We stayed in the Airbnb located right on the 2nd floor of the house. The host had all the necessities and more in the room, and he was very attentive. Coming downstairs to the bar with food and drinks was so convenient. We had such an amazing opportunity to be able to share great conversation with the owner and business partners themselves, listening to where Goat Haus started and where it's headed, their community outreach, and the influence and opportunities they extend for the local community. If you get a chance to stop by, ask them all about it. Overall, it was a great stay!

Ate here tonight with 4 adults and 4 kids. Absolutely phenomenal!! Food was really yummy, service was friendly & on point and the restaurant itself has a really cool set up - good space for families with little ones. Beer drinkers in our group were happy with the selections. Check this place out!!

The best night in Montgomery! Came here with friends on a work trip, the owner and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and tell us about the space and the city. Check it out if you want great craft beers and pub food!

This is the place!! The staff is so friendly and personable, the food is delicious and comes out quick, the beer was great! Next time we come to Montgomery we will be stopping by. There was a ramen pop up with Express Yo Noodle & it was amazing too! Definitely give this place a visit and check out the events they put on

Excellent gem in Montgomery! Exceptional service, they were missing a dish from the sampler platter and made sure to add extra sausages and deviled eggs, and everything was delicious! The beer cheese was amazing! Solid little beer selection, lots of spots to gather inside and out!

Decent food. Okay beers. Menu seems to be in flux most of the time; you never know what they'll have or not have. Additional note: the Goat Haus backs up to the apartment complex I live in. Every few nights, they have what seems to be big parties on their back patio with music so unreasonably loud that I can hear it in my apartment on the furthest end of the complex. Why would a restaurant knowingly and purposefully be so disruptive to so many peoples' lives? Who knows. We will never them our business again.

Great beer. Fun vibes with games, good AC, huge outdoor area for dogs. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great brunch/happy hour.

The atmosphere is great and love the German menu. Went for open mic night and had a blast! However, the ramen is definitely not an option I would try next time I'm out here... I feel like I wasted money on it.

Amazing service, bier, and atmosphere!!! Cool spot on the hill, they have German beers and other local specials. Awesome house converted into the perfect beer Garten. Authentic German snacks and food as well.

We stopped in after a Biscuits game for some dinner while in town. Menu was a little limited but the food we got was tasty and did the job. The staff was super friendly and helpful! They were willing to bendover backwards to make sure we were comfortable even offering to change the music or tv to something like baseball. We will definitely check them out again next trip through Montgomery.

Great selection of German style beer and beer from the south east region. Good German food as well. We had a good conversation with the owners and got to see this historic house that the bar is located in. Definitely check them out at Oktoberfest!
