I liked the atmosphere of the old dinner. But i don't think the burger was as good as everyone says. Comparing to J & J Grocery burger in McCala, Al, this burger simply can't keep up. The bun wasn't that good, the meat needed to be salted and peppered more.

Oh my! The deluxe burger is perfect! Delicious and juicy seasoned just right with lettuce and tomato! I have found my go to burger spot when in Montgomery! Next time I am definitely getting a bottle of root beer too!

First, the cheesburger was excellent and made to order nice and hot when ya get it. The mixture of condiments and vegetable made for one delicious burger, with chips and a Coke. It's a small shop, with plenty of business especially takeout orders. Gotta get back and try the hotdogs at some point. On Decatur St, which is one-way as I was promptly reminded as I started to leave going the wrong direction.

This is by far the BEST BURGER you will eat in Alabama. Very nice hole in the wall kinda place. Family operated, and they have been making the best hamburgers for years

I absolutely recommend Hamburger King! I love the Deluxe Cheese Burger. Hot Dogs are good too. I rarely get to enjoy their breakfast sandwiches but they are delicious as well. Everything is cooked to order so it will be hot and fresh! No cards accepted so bring cash.

The burger was as good as what can be expected coming off a hot griddle... hot & juicy. My disappointment was in lackluster service. The Deluxe is a single patty burger dressed. I asked about a double and was told there was no double. I received and began enjoying my Deluxe. Minutes later, a couple walked in and ordered a double... with bacon... as if I couldn't be given the option due to the limited menu! I know next time if there is one! One more con... chips, no fries.

This is probably the best burger in Montgomery that I’ve ever tried. Although you will have to wait for a while during the peak lunch hours, you won’t regret.

I checked your Website & it stated that you were open today 1-2-2024 & will close at 2:30. I know this place has been opened a very long time & like many people, we have all been through many heartbreaking challenges & we certainly pray that this isn't the issue for the wrong information on your Website. On the otherhand, my husband came down there at 11:27 AM to place an order, & to his suprise, you were not open! Not everyone calls before they drive 20 minutes out of their lunch hour after they have checked their Website to see if they are open or not. Why wouldn't this establishment adjust their Website to accommodate the correct business hours for their customers so they would not loose extra time from lunch hours? Again, I certainly hope that there has not been an event to have caused an unfortunate incident, but I believe someone could have keyed in some type of information to update the customers with correct information. Something to think about for future events - Happy New Year 🤔

I went there this past Friday and got two cheeseburger deluxe all the way and the burger was dry and under season . I wasnt expecting that due to the past experiences I have before where the burger was juicy and full of flavor just literally melt in your mouth.I could tell the difference in the meat it's not the same. I hope they go back to using what they was using to make the burgers good again.

A lot of places sell hamburgers in Montgomery but never in my 40 + years of going to the hamburger king have I ever been disappointed. No fine dining just great burgers hotdogs and ham sandwiches.

Excellent all around food and atmosphere I feel like i was back in time the only bad thing is that they're cash only but well worth it

Deluxe cheeseburger was delicious! Perfect seasoning on the burger!! Oh the buns were so fresh and tasty. Just traveling through Montgomery and took a chance on Hamburger King and boy were we glad we took a chance!! Will definitely stop in again when in Montgomery! Yummy!

Basic old fashioned burger joint, and that is what makes it good. The burgers are made of fresh beef, hand-pattied and cooked on a standard flat top grill. They have a light seasoning that is noticeable and tasty. The fully-dressed burgers are juicy, a little messy and quite tasty. My only wish was that they had some equally impressive fries, but they have chips and can/bottle drinks to not overshadow the burgers. Also, bring cash or get ready to use their ATM. Overall, it's a good burger joint that I could visit again.

It was my first time coming here and it was quite the experience! a real brick and mortar , mom and pop food spot , which is rare and hard to find, that you really have to search out by reputation and word of mouth. Hamburger King lives up to their reputation. Good food, burgers the whole 9! BUT you got to be quick and on your feet on what you want because theyre johnny on the spot with orders. and with it being it's so small, the location can fill up real quick before you know it ,with folks wanting to get some of those delicious burgers as well! The ladies manning the counter were busy, but maintained a awesome level of customer service and made all who came through feel welcome and at home! Definitely cannot wait for to stop by again!

Hamburgers are the best in town, but it's better that you order and pick up. Not the cleanest for dining in. Bathrooms are slippery from the greasy floor.

Omg!!!! With all the food quality being awful lately. This beef on this burger was REAL BEEF. The bun was fresh as well. I will be returning.I haven't had a GREAT burger in over a year. Plus it wasn't small. I'm highly impressed.

Been eating these Hamburgers and Ham Sandwiches for 40 years. They stand alone in my opinion. Fresh meat and simply the best Hamburger you can buy hands down. If I have a choice, a Hamburger King Hamburger will be my last meal. No, I'm not on death row.

Great burgers, cooked in front of you. Small eating area, some tables, you can also sit at the bar. The place was full but not crowded. You can order ahead. Very friendly service. Parking is a little cramped. I went back a couple of days later.

This place hands down has the best burger in town. Made Fresh daily, locally owned and operated for 100 years. Always a smile on everyones face and a tasty burger and a fair price.

Stopped at Hamburger King on my way to Baton Rouge from Atlanta. (Before COVID-19, when we traveled east to west, we always stopped at Hamburger King.) Yes the prices of the burgers have gone up, but the quality is still the same. I would like to thank Hamburger King for that. I highly recommend Hamburger King.

Please be careful when buying hamburgers at hamburger king on Monday 1, 2022 I had brought three dexlue hamburgers and when i had finish eating one of the hamburgers i go food poison i had became very ill. I had to go to the Emergency Room. Please do not eat here at this nasty place. I wish that i can give them zero stars. There hamburger meat is old and out of date and making people get sick with food poison.

The hamburger 🍔 was incredible... never had one this good ! It was not sloppy but so well made and put together !!

To be honest, it was nothing special, but you get an honorable mention for the length of time this place has been opened. The food is comparable to what you’d find at a high school basketball game, including price (cash only). The place does need a update, regardless of its classic feel. I was instantly transported to the mid-70s.

The picture of the cheeseburger might make you think...meh...just another burger....BUT don't let the photo fool you. It is DELICIOUS! It is freshly made and absolutely tasty! Highly recommend!
