Decent Korean BBQ with a large selection of meats, fair sides, and good service. Went here as a party of 12 folks and was comfortably served. Food flavors were a bit lacking, but the variety and quantity made up for Kalim's mediocre taste profile.

My family and I always enjoy this place when traveling through town. As a direct result of Korean investment from Hyundai and Kia along with all of the cottage industries that support these companies, Korean restaurants have also followed. It is not uncommon for this place to be mostly Korean patrons which lets you know it is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly, welcoming and one of the best Korean BBQs we have had across the country from NY Korea Town to the large number of Atlanta Korean establishments and LA. If you’ve never ate at a Korean BBQ, don’t let it intimidate you. It’s a great experience and the food is truly amazing. Excellent value. The staff is friendly and responsive. Service is top notch. Highly recommended.

Everyone is so nice, They have a great menu of many different options! if it’s your first time having korean food This is definitely the place to go! We had the Kalim special set and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food we received. The set let us sample several different dishes we were interested in trying without having to order everything separately. The service was great even though it looked like only 1 waitress was working. She refilled our drinks and banchans quickly and cleared away dishes as necessary. Would highly recommend!

This place is so good that I almost don't want to tell you about it! But alas, here is a true gem. Of course, the side dishes are ABSOLUTELY delicious and vary, but also the staples dishes are EXTREMELY tasty. Reminds me of many popular local restaurants in Seoul.

We had a great first experience with Korean food here. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the ladies serving us were SUPER nice (yes, all caps!), and the man I assume is the owner was very nice as well. There was a small mishap with an appetizer and special they were running, but all was taken care of and we appreciated that. The food was delicious, and we already have plans to come back for lunch.

I visited this place some days ago and I really recommend it if you are looking for Korean barbecue, it is the first time I tried and I really loved it, the food is fresh, all variety of dishes they offer gives you the opportunity to taste different flavors.

Such great quality and quantity. Definitely call ahead so you can reserve a room. Don't be afraid to ask for extras. I have tried many things off the menu and have not been disappointed.

Decided to try out Kalim with my bf. And I'm glad we went here because the food was so good. Regarding the staff they were constantly checking up on us even being so busy and made sure we had enough banchan and our drinks were refilled without us asking as well as seeing how everything was tasting for us. Most Korean restaurants you go to you don't get this kind of extra attention. I loved how our food was hot when served and we got it pretty quick too. I highly recommend Kalim Korea BBQ Restaurant and will be back again soon when I'm back into town.

Oh mah gawd!!!! I love this place! That seafood tofu soup was the heat! Warms your soul. And their chow and side dishes were oh so tasty!

Was in town for work and this was my favorite spot. Great service and the lunch special was a great deal. Comes with all the banchan (some that are hard to come by like the apple salad and roasted peanuts with fish) plus they put a fried egg in the rice?! Amazing. The spicy pork bulgogi brought me back to my university days. I have been searching for that flavor since.

We have eaten here as a family for almost 2 yrs now. First class Korean food, quality and service! I would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

Everything was very authentic. Spicy, savory, and Bulgogi! The staff are super friendly and very attentive. We sat at a table in a private room. Everyone gets a private room! It's a fun experience. Bring friends and drink Soju! They encourage it!!

This was my first time at a Korean BBQ restaurant and I tried my very first taste of Pork Bulgogi here and I fell in love! Lol it was really really good. I don’t live in Montgomery but I visit often so I will be back for more!

My family came here tonight to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food and service were incredibly good. All staff members were helpful and friendly, and the meal was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. It was worth every penny, and I will definitely be back again soon!

My goodness is this place amazing. The selection, private seating and service are all outstanding. I've lived in Korea for two years and miss authentic Korean food. This is my go-to whenever I'm in the area now.

Had such high hopes for this place. Everything was good but then banchan’s were lukewarm and not very impressive. Rather underwhelming. The food came out expeditiously though the yukgejang was flavorless. It did have a lot of contents in it to include woodear mushroom which I’ve never seen before. But the flavor left a lot to be desired. The hot pot bibimbob is hard to mess up and it was good. The bbq meats were fresh and the salad that came with it was delicious. Overall a pleasant experience but not the best Korean I’ve had.
