This particular commissary has 1-2 refrigeration units down per month which completely wipes out availability of certain goods. The fruit and vegetables are on the shelves in varying degrees of decay. Bread products are never fully stocked…if you desire a specific type of bread and need more than 1 loaf, good luck.

It's incredibly hard to get fresh food here. So much money is wasted for people trying to save because the produce goes bad so quickly if it isn't already moldy. We end up throwing out so much food that should last for a week or more just within days of buying, and a lot of food items on the shelves are already expired. It's also very difficult to get allergen friendly items either due to expiration or restocking issues. The employees are great and always so kind. The sushi bar exceeds expectations.

Not crowded. Pleasant atmosphere, Friendly, Professional staff, Beautiful music. I do realize it's the trend of current events that's dictating grocery pricing and availability. Overall, a positive experience.

It's very convenient and you can park, walk to other stores within the complex. The prices are below the range that you would expect to pay. You must have a military ID card in order to enter the base and take advantage of these savings (military establishment). The workers make you feel welcome, you are greeted with a smile and you are asked: "make I help you or did you find everything you need/wanted." Good feeling 😌 from start to finish

Click2Go is amazing, almost as amazing as the people who work there.

It’s an okay commissary. The fruit is good but other stuff is a bit lacking.

Went for discounted Halloween candy. Used to be a place for good deals, but recently they've had trouble with accurate pricing. You think something is $3 based on its shelf tag, only to find out it rings up as $4. Often!

One of the better commissaries I've seen. The aisles are nice and wide and the store has space for everything and is laid out well imo. Has everything I want. Click2Go has been dysfunctional for me every time though. My first order, I never got the email that my order was ready so I had to call to check on it. The 2nd order I made, I still didn't get an email that it was ready. I called THREE times and no one could confirm it was ready and said I'd be called back. I was never called back. My order was supposed to be ready at 2 PM on a Thursday. I got the email at 10 am on Friday that it was ready. When I picked it up, I asked the girl why my order wasn't ready on time and she said she had no idea. Probably wouldn't do Click2Go again here.

Not good everything was rushed going thru cash registration. Some of my item was missing. Along with I did not get my receipt. I went thru registration 4 where I had two different cashier ring up my item. Female then male. Never had that happen to me .

Like any other commissary on a military installation. Lots of employees, everywhere, but Noone able to help with anything because they are all so busy. Somehow out of whatever it is your looking for, but there's tons of other stuff you don't need. The place is clean. The staff is very short. Seems like they might be polite if you spend the next few years becoming their friend. But thats about your only chance. Produce is pretty poor. Meat selection is lacking. Normally the only real savings is on beef, but in today's market, you don't even really see that much of any savings there. I avoid unless it's a trip of pure convenience.

Nice commissary..good selection for your basic needs.. I wish they could get items from other stores overseas ..many retired veterans and soldiers miss some of those foods or items.

You'd have to drive miles off base to reach a Boar's Head deli. Shorter lines at the cash registers since COVID, and you can always custom order products in bulk if they carry it on shelves. If you want good meat and it's the first weekend of the month, "go early!"

I’m happy with most of it but some one needs to check the a/c. All the milk chocolate bars were melting. The sodas on the sleeves were warm.

My husbabd and I usually visit this military facility to go to shopping for groceries and things as we needed. However not everybody allow to go there. Basically like us military retirees and families. Also for active US military and families. It is one of privilégies US government estabilished for military and families for utilize.

Brought back memories of when I was stationed at Maxwell. Pleasant shopping with some noticeable changes and upgrades. Fruit was not impressive. I was disappointed with the quality.

Only decent place to get lunch at Maxwell! Try their banana pudding. Closed on Monday's.

Somehow keeping prices from going too high due to inflation. All things considered good, produce can be fresher but at least they're in stock.

Love going here. Prices aren't as cheap as they use to be, but I still love.

  • 3/5 Simon C. 2 years ago on Google
It's alright. They were pretty sold out of just about everything. They have the upgraded self checkouts so that's a plus.

  • 4/5 Jennifer C. 2 years ago on Google
Out of stock on a lot of items but still enough to make it worth shopping there.

  • 5/5 John P. 2 years ago on Google
Good, clean commissary with a pretty good selection. They were out of beef tenderloin cuts today. Out of stock happens occasionally so beware.

👍 When I want to beat the long lines at Walmart I ways come over to Renfroes. They have a great wine and beer selection. There are less options than a large grocery store like Walmart but they have a nice butcher and good produce.
