A wonderful sushi chef has taken over as the new owner and it is the new best sushi place in town. The starter salad dressing alone is worth going for and our sushi was so delicious and fresh! Just be patient with the service, they are working on it! We got the hot sexy roll (with jalapeño on top) and the red dragon roll.

Everything here is great so it was surprising to see it wasn’t busier than it was. It was very clean on the inside and the staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. The jalapeño bombs were a little spicy (as expected ) and just right. All of our risks were delicious! We really enjoyed our sunrise roll, energy roll, shinjuku roll, and golden tiger roll. I will be back!

This is one of my favorite places to get sushi in Montgomery. I have been eating at Satsuki for years and they always great you with big smiles and their service is great. I would highly recommend to anyone 😁

This place is always on point. Great service, atmosphere and the food is always delicious. Regular spot for sushi, love their bento boxes. Friendly and kind staff keep us coming back. The prices are fantastic as well.

This is hands down the best Japanese Restaurant in Montgomery Al! I have tried them all and this wins! It is a tiny little restaurant with a great atmosphere, amazing and friendly service with spectacular food. I have tried the teriyaki chicken, bento boxes, sushi, and the spicy tuna poki bowls and they are spectacular! Eating here is like an adventure for your tastebuds and eyes because the food is beautiful. It’s not too pricey either which I love. If you’re even considering whether you should give it a try GO FOR IT! I promise it won’t disappoint!

This restaurant was recommended to me by various friends. I've been there twice now and I'm confident to say this is already my favorite Japanese spot in Montgomery! Overall, the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and highly attentive. The place is comfortable, accessible, and usually quiet for those looking for a peaceful restaurant vibe. Prices are great and they offer good specials. Personally, I recommend the Mark, Golden Tiger, DK, and the popcorn rolls. Enjoy!

Seriously the best sushi and at an unbeatable price!!! I travel for work and eat at multiple sushi restaurants and this is by far the best in the area! I make a point to eat there when I'm in town!

NOT GOOD ANYMORE! EVER SINCE COVID, SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, THEY CLOSE WHENEVER THEY WANT, FOOD IS MOSTLY COLD AT TIMES, THEY TAKE THEIR PHONE OFF THE HOOK BECAUSE THEY SAY THEIR TOO BUSY TO TAKE ORDERS. GO TO KABUKI IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD

On a road trip and passing through, I was fortunate to find Satsuki Sushi. Had a big appetite for some good sushi and wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed my dinner in a great atmosphere with superb service Satsuki Sushi is highly recommended 😎👍

Their rolls are really tasty… I have never liked salmon due to it’s origin fishy smell, but the chef’s salmon don’t have the smell I don’t like..

This is by farthest the nastiest food I have ever had. It was so bland. And I’m not sure what kind of chicken that was but it taste more like beef.. the yum yum sauce was straight mayo. I wouldn’t even feed this to animals.. I will never be eating here again.. 👎🏽

First time experiencing Satsuki Sushi Restaurant and I was impressed with the quality of the Sushi. I ordered the Nigri special, Philadelphia Roll, and Tokyo Roll. All dishes were delicious. My only major complaint is that there were pictures on the menu and the item was not actually offered by the restaurant.

Cozy, quaint little spot. Everything on the menu is delicious and always fresh, but my favorites are the super satsuki roll and goyza. Everyone is always friendly and attentive.

Since new chef/owners. The food is not the same. Definitely not worth it to me anymore. Rice doesn't taste the same. Chicken teriyaki is totally diff. Their dressing for salad has even changed. Once was my fav place to eat 2-3 times a week. Now i don't think I'll be back!

I used to love this place for years. Now the restaurant has different owners and different workers, it is garbage. Will never eat there again. They are cutting corners and the quality/taste of the food has gone way downhill.

Had a poor experience with another sushi place and came here; right away I was greeted by a young woman with a big smile like a bundle of sunshine and had my order taken immediately. I made a mistake where I accidentally ordered two sets of spring rolls, but I can't even be mad because the food was absolutely delicious. I didn't get a chance to really take in the "atmosphere" since I was getting takeout and my food was finished quickly, but I didn't feel uncomfortable so that's a plus. Will be coming back most definitely.
