I ordered online for pickup. It might have been better if I went inside. Or maybe the time of day I went. My tacos were cold and barely anything in them. I paid over 20$ for some chips and a drink. I was very disappointed after reading all the good reviews.

I love this place and will have no problem at all driving from Destin to come here! Also, thankful my husband works at Camp Rudder so he can grab this on the way home and use the drive thru pickup window! The food is so fresh and so good! My husband loves the salsa bar! The staff are very friendly and the casual restaurant is very clean! You can definitely tell the owners and managers care whole heartedly about the place. Living in Destin I see so many restaurants run poorly with unhappy staff. Today we had beef flautas, shrimp tacos that were the best I've ever had, and chicken chimichanga! And then ordered desert to go! And all for under $50 bucks with drinks!

Any time me and doggo can sit quietly and enjoy a good meal on a nice evening is a good time. Alexia made sure that it was a good meal. She was friendly, attentive, super helpful and (for all you other businesses who want five stars) actually listened to what the customer wanted, and did her absolute best to make sure I got it, including checking on me and doggo a couple times to make sure everything was great. Seems like a simple step, but I'm surprised at how many businesses don't do this. I felt like Alexia went above and beyond, but she'd probably say she's just doing her job, and that's part of what made everything great.

Great costumer service, food was a 1.5 out of 10. I went with nachos to be safe because how can you mess up nachos. Well, it was disgusting! I ate about 1/4 of the plate. It was so cheesy and not in a good way. Cheese was old like it had been sitting for a while plus I counted, 5 bites of steak . Would not recommend

BEWARE** salsa and queso dipping sauce are not free** I ordered the steak quesadilla which was delicious. They asked me what level of salsa and I said medium. Then they asked me if i wanted queso sauce I figured sure. Well. After looking my receipt, I paid 1.79 for salsa and 2.79 for the queso. I kno it's a bit petty but I wish they informed me the sauce were not free..

The staff served my party of 7 with a smile and a sense of urgency. The food was tasty, hot, and fresh. The restaurant was clean, and everyone, including the manager, ran that place like a well-oiled machine! I've got to give credit where credit is due & these folks knocked it out of the park. Outstanding team & teamwork! If I ever get into the restaurant business, I will return to this store and recruit every single person working the lunch rush, Saturday 10/28/23. You guys rock! Your hard work is noticed, appreciated, and impressive! Thanks again!

Food is awesome and feels fresh. One of the top Mexican places in the area. I did door dash and hard shell tacos where broken by the time it came to me. Not really their fault. I ordered side chips and cheese. Weird the chips that came with my meal tastes different than the chips and cheese. That could just be my taste buds. Highly Recommended.

Great food at a very causal friendly restaurant. The steak flatuas were amazing and the atom bomb appetizer is a must !! Shredded chicken tacos could of used a little more seasoning but still juicy. Overall a great place to eat ! Reasonably priced as well.

This is a fun place to eat! They have great staff that are kind, helpful, and fun. The food is awesome and at a reasonable price. I get the chicken burrito, and it's the best burrito I've had for $10. The portions are not small. Also the queso is great. They have all kinds of fun art work that adds to the atmosphere and makes it feel fun. They have a nice patio. Also the kids love the food so that's a win for people with picky eaters. The owners work on site also so they really care about the service they provide. This is a pillar of our community, and we are glad they are here!

Food was delicious! They have a sauce area with lots of sauce to try. You walk in and order. Then sit down and they bring it out. It was our first time. The tacos were very good. Burritos were good, wish the tortilla was heated or grilled. And apparently, we missed out on chips and cheese dip. Everyone around us ordered it.

Me and my family were visiting fort Walton beach and we came to Tijuana Flats, the service was great food was amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful

We went there for a late lunch. Watched some football and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with great customer service and excellent food. When we come back in town we are definitely coming to eat here!

Best place for Mexican style food! I love the Tacos, those and the burritos are so good. The people working there always make your experience better than any other sit down restaurant. Can't forget the massive array of hot sauces to choose from.

We started making Tijuana Flats part of our vacations (each year) when we visited Sarasota (Siesta Key) — so finding one in Fort Walton excited us! It’s a bit more run down but still has amazing hot sauce bar, made to order food and friendly staff! We’ll be back!

Atom bombs are “da bomb” ! We love the consistency of good eats at a reasonable price and friendly staff. It’s fun to try all the different hot sauces at the hot sauce bar. They have great vegetarian options and they play good music.

Different, but in every great way. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was even better than the food. No doubt will return.

I haven't been to one since I had a horrible experience at one location in South Florida and I have been missing out on the good food here! Not only is all the workers happy to help you but the food is amazing!! I know I will be a frequent customer here. Don't miss out on the amazing atmosphere and food. P.S. I just love the tacos, big tacos. And the hot sauce, all kinds of hot sauce. You use to be able to get hot sauce they keep behind the counter, you have to sign a release form to get it.

Awesome place with great food. Sorry for not taking pics, but believe me, everything was awesome! Service is always great. The sauce bar will not disappoint as it has every level of heat you can ask for. Plenty of cold beer to choose from to wash it all down as well. Great job TJF's....

My first time eating here and I was very impressed at how great the food was. In fact, I went twice in the same week and was not disappointed. I ordered the steak nachos both times and I'm looking forward to trying other menu items.

Great lunch! Friendly staff/service. Smokey chicken burrito was yummy and huge. Shrimp bowl was great and all the ingredients were so fresh. Prices are reasonable. Chips and cheese sauce are tasty.

Tacos are always delicious but there is a cleanliness issue at this location. The sauce pumps in the lobby are very dirty with black grime on the nozzles. I went back a second day hoping it would be better only to find they had not been cleaned from the prior day. Same smears and black buildup on the pumps that I observed the first day I went.

Delicious food. Friendly service. Fun place to eat.

The food is always spot on, no matter what we order. The best place in town for tacos. Service is always, always on point. They even got tattoos for the kids.
