Normally
the
Texas
Roadhouse
might
not
be
my
first
choice
of
goto
places
to
eat,
but
it
was
a
convenient
halfway
point
for
us
meeting
family
for
dinner.
Well!
Let
me
say
I
was
over
the
top
pleased
with
the
excellent
service
and
excellent
dishes
we
ordered.
The
place
was
crowded,
but
there
was
no
wait
for
a
table
for
3
on
a
Saturday
night.
You
are
allowed
to
pick
out
your
steak
before
being
seated
if
having
a
steak
is
on
your
mind.
I
ordered
the
Country
Fried
Chicken
platter
with
creamed
gravy
and
a
side
of
fries
and
whole
kernel
corn.
Having
lived
in
the
south
most
of
my
life
I
consider
myself
a
bit
of
a
Country
Fried
Chicken
connoisseur,
AND
this
might
be
the
best
Country
Fried
Chicken
I've
ever
had.
The
sides
were
good
as
well.
My
wife
ordered
the
pork
chop.
She
said
this
was
one
of
the
best
pork
chops
that
she
has
had
in
a
long
time.
After
letting
me
sample
hers,
I
would
have
to
agree.
My
sister
ordered
a
steak,
and
she
raved
about
how
good
it
was.
Ordered
blackened
and
rare,
it
was
cooked
to
perfection.
All
of
this
excellent
food
was
topped
off
by
excellent
service
from
our
incredible
server,
Skylar.
She
was
very
attentive,
making
sure
everything
was
perfect
and
our
glasses
were
kept
full.
She
took
her
job
seriously,
but
at
the
same
time
she
seemed
to
genuinely
enjoy
her
job.
Very
pleasant
and
always
service
with
a
smile.
This
is
not
a
quiet
dining
experience.
The
background
noise
can
get
loud
at
times
with
screaming
kids,
loud
talkers
and
the
occasional
very
loud
birthday
announcements.
Take
it
all
in,
it
is
part
of
the
experience.
All
in
all
a
great
dining
experience
and
an
enjoyable
evening
with
family.
We
will
be
back!
