Booked for a few nights and what a scam. My boyfriend and I had bad vibes walking into this place and sure enough as we were checking in, another guest threw her key on the counter and told the clerks she was not staying here. This lead us to check the room before we went thru with check in. Well the bed was made, but that was it. The carpets haven't been cleaned in forever, smelly room, so small it can barely hold a double bed and a sink. Showers and toilets were shared between 8 rooms. Would probably say more, but we rushed out before we could say anything. To give the key back, we had to wait 10 minutes while the clerk argued with someone over the phone. After telling him our concerns, he said that it was the first time he hears that the place was dirty and started arguing with us. This is when we walked out.

It was not the best, but it was great for one night. The room was very quiet and decent. They will not accommodate you for early arrivals so after driving all night, they weren't helpful with that, the lady in the front is rude as heck so just avoid needing anything. No towels, bring your own, as well as soap or anything else. Very convenient with the Metro across the street in the heart of downtown Montreal and lots going on around it. Old Montréal is very close, you can walk or grab the metro.

This was straight up just a bad stay. The staff was kind enough to let us add an extra guest for a low cost but besides that I don’t know what we paid for. First off our door didn’t lock and when we told the staff they said “we'll look after it” even though the office was a floor below our room. They provided the lightest blanket that had holes in it, the fitted sheet didn’t fit the bed, the mattress had a blood stain on it and there was a wire sticking up through the mattress. There was no soap and when we asked for towels they gave us one to share between five people. The bathrooms either didn’t have toilet paper or were clogged. The staff told us we could park on the street for free but we returned to the car with $156 in parking tickets. It was a cheap stay and the location wasn’t bad but just be advised this place isn’t accommodating in the slightest.

HORRIBLE!!! I booked a room for two nights in this hotel the last August. A horrible experience! The room (and the hotel) had a bad smell, in the room there was not enough space, the floor was very dirty, furnishings were in bad conditions, curtains dirty and broken. The price certainly too expensive for a room without bathroom. At the same price in our holiday in canada we found clean and nice hotel with bathroom. ABSOLUTELY NOT TO RECOMMEND

Old hotel, perfect for a hide away. No bad smell has the other comments. But no one warned you even if you reserve about the deposit fee, which for the room you get(with no toilets just shower) I did not understud. But overall ok.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst hotel I have ever been. I didn't read the reviews and judged by the pictures the place was ok. This is a dirty, stinking place, with bad characters staying there. When we first checked in other guests were shouting and cursing in the middle of the hallway. There's prostitution going on at night. Location is good but the conditions are super bad. When we asked for towels the reception lady literally picked up some towels that were in a couch in sort of a living room. To get in the hotel you have to ring a door bell every time. It's an unsafe place. We booked a room with a private bathroom which was super tiny, when I tried to take a shower at night the water was cold.

The worst accomodation I ever had..rats running in the midnight through our bed..the lady might be the owner is very rude..don't go there if you have car..they will tell you to park in the street and it's safe and in the morning you will get scratches or even major damages to your car by many of the homeless people around..and the hotel management simply tell we are not responsible for your car damage..my experience..

This hotel is super super cheap. Which is great, but I'll list all the issues and then you can decide if you want to stay a night. The light in our room did not work it would flicker and only had one bulb instead of three. The lamps must be plugged in and then turned on. We found hairs on the lampshade and stains on the blanket. Towels were incredibly small and bad quality which doesn't matter because we didn't take a shower as it looked tiny and nasty. Toilets are always clogged or out of toilet paper. Door handles for the bathrooms don't even work. We heard mice in the night. It was also freezing. We also had to wait ten minutes to be given our deposit for the key and when asking for it the woman was very confused. The staff in general was rude and would seem very annoyed when opening the door for you, staring at you and glaring. There's also no parking and no food or anything that you can buy at the hotel.

Room was clean-ish....you at least get your own sink. But for three nights in a row toilet was not re-stocked with toilet paper and the other was not unclogged. I call it "inside camping" 🤷🏻‍♀️

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. The room was very small with very little light as 2/3 of the light bulbs were burnt out. The shared washrooms were all clogged, so there was no where really to use a washroom. This hotel was also pricey compared to the quality, and you will also have to pay a 100$ deposit when you get there. We had to leave the next day and find somewhere else to stay as I would not stay another night in that hotel.

For 350 total for a week it's probably the cheapest hotel room in canada. Of course if luxury is important to you move along but if you need a bed and great location on a limited travel budget. It's your best option. I'll be back

DO NOT STAY HERE PLEASE… Safe yourself the nightmare and don’t come to this place, I don’t know how EXPEDIA or any other bookings sites would promote this place as a hotel, this is not a hotel…

It was really one of my worst night in my life. Inside room was too hot and out side was -13. But we had to open the window. Beds are too small for 2 people. It was non smoking room but whole night smoke smell was in whole room . We couldn't breathing whole time. I won't choose these kind of place anymore.

Place was clean and reasonably priced, right by the subway and the greyhound bus terminal. Washrooms and showers are communal unless you pay a bit extra for a minuscule private washroom. Was difficult to sleep in the middle of summer as no ac so you have to make a choice about leaving the windows and curtains open and dealing with the occasional loud noises and constant bright lights coming in. Great place to crash though if you have a long layover between buses though.

Went to visit a friend here, the concierge was friendly, and busy with newcomers. It's an old building, a bit run down, but has some charm to it. It was the least expensive place to stay in Montréal downtown area for $80/night, during summer high season. The room is large enough for 1-2 people, simple room with a bed, and a sink to wash up. I think the toilets are communal, shared. It's a hostel type of accommodation, but it looks clean.

The room was barely decent, and the service was really bad! We got a ticket for parking near the hotel, in a spot instructed by an attendent- after he told us it was free until 9am the day after. The manager refused to talk to us, and the staff lied to our face about the event and said nothing could be done. Unacceptble customer service. Would not reccomend going there.
