I first received her contact from a friend, who spoke wonders of Dr. Peng's ability to treat and help solve many health issues. She has been a constant in my journey, a true support system in my life. Always available by text, phone, or email. Her life’s work is to treat and help others. Her clinic is located in downtown Montreal, it is very clean and well organised. Since covid, masks are required and the waiting room chairs have been properly spaced in the hallway. Shoes are to be removed, and Amy will open the doors herself. During your appointment she will answer any questions, or concerns – all while recording any new information in your personal file. For the remainder of the appointment the lights will be lowered, and soft relaxing music played. All appointments are properly spaced, it is important to arrive on time – as it will affect others appointments. Once she leaves the room, she will attend to her next patient in a separate room. A timer is placed in your room. In the years since, I know of many people who have benefitted tremendously from Dr. Peng knowledge and ability. The walls of her office are overflowing with photos of happy pregnant patients smiling, beautiful family photos, and lovely little babies smiling. I am recovering from a 5 1/2 hour Neurosurgery to correct a condition called Cauda Equina Syndrome. My progress seemed to have stalled and after seven months I still had a lot of pain on movement and intermittent numbness of my left foot. I was referred to see Xiangping Peng to try Acupuncture. After the first treatment my pain was substantially less and my sleeping improved. Following the second treatment my energy level increased and I was able to reduce my Morphine to 1/2 tablet once a day! I wish I had gone to her much sooner as I believe I would have recovered quicker and more comfortably! Dr. Amy Peng runs a very tight operation, she is extremely punctual and professional, and I highly recommend it. I came because of pain on a herniated cervical disc and acupuncture helps me manage the pain, I felt as if I were in a TCM clinic in Asia. She will ask about your symptoms (so be prepared to have that ready) and check your tongue or any other part needed, then she proceeds with the needles, she is fast and precise and time flies once the appointment is over, and soon after you will feel the difference. I went to Amy’s clinic for my knee pain and even at my first section my knee started to feel much better. At the weekend following the first session, I got my IBS attack which every 2 years finds me perhaps I eat something not good for my gut bacteria’s. I had unbearable pain, bloating and constipation then following all these because I worried so much I brought back my anxiety signs which also keep coming back with certain life issues. I couldn’t sleep 3 nights until finally I could make my second session. She listened all the story patiently and treated my anxiety and stomach at the same day.
