My favourite Italian restaurant in the area, very happy to discovered this place, well made pizza and very well cooked pasta dishes, The Ragu is to die for! 😇 staffs are very friendly as well! thank you!

Decided to eat out more local and tried La Lupa. Unfortunately, it was very noisy and the small serving of “Ragu” spaghetti with a drizzle of runny sauce was very poor. Have enjoyed similar Italian dishes bigger and better quality elsewhere much better! Disappointing dinner!!!

Ripped off with no recourse and only met with attitude from the staff. Ordered two pastas and a pizza for take away, one pasta was a kids bolognese the other was a ragu. What we received was two kids bologneses - both containers were barely half full and contained the identical servings of bolognese and spaghetti. Called the restaurant for a resolution only to be met with attitude and being told that the sauces were the same for both pastas (which were both bland, cold, and evidently jar sauce, no different to what you would find in a tin of spaghetti). Pro tip for dining here: don't waste your money on the "adult" pastas, just order the kid's ones for the same meal at a lower cost. Also don't expect reasonable resolutions for any mistakes.

Had a garlic focaccia, seafood linguini and capricciosa. Was perfect. Lovely woodfired pizza and the sauce on the linguini was the right amount of spice. Highly recommend this place and the owner/manager put in a lot of effort to make sure our dinner and experience was the best it could be.

La Lupa serves amazingly delicious, authentic Italian meals in a cosy & welcoming setting. I found all the staff to be very friendly & attentive, without being intrusive & definitely be visiting again, either to dine in or take away, very soon!

We had a great meal at the Lupa Romana as we wanted to check the new management that is actually the original one. Everything was so delicious and traditional Italian, from the Pizza 🍕 to the dessert. We will certainly come back again, looking forward to that.

👍 great food and friendly service,my wife had the gnocchi very very nice, I had the carbonara, a bit too eldenta for me, but was authentic Italian, they didn't have light beer but the man said they will get it in. We felt if a small dish of room temp olives was available it would be a nice touch 😀

Another "thumb up" for delicious Italian food made at the state of art. If you are in the area or planning for a great Italian restaurant, this is the right place!

We finally found Authentic Italian Pizza that you just need to eat more of once you have stuffed it in your face. The pizza crust is sooo good and has a smokey taste from the oven, the sweet tomato base flavour reminded me of Tuscany and the toppings are simple, home made and delicious. Great staff and wonderful service. I am going back again and again and cant wait to try everything else on the menu! You wont be disappointed!

I’d love to give this place 6 stars. We took my mum here for dinner the other night and it did not disappoint. The pizzas were amaaaazing, the arancini balls were some of the best I’ve had and the carbonara **chefs kiss**!! I love authentic Italian food and i highly recommend this restaurant.

Great to see cici at the pizza station again Our margarita pizza was delicious and the home made tomato pizzas sauce was amazing with great atmosphere and beautiful mountains to look at while eating very chilled calm place. Staff are Always smiling and friendly my daughters, can’t wait to go back again

Amazing authentic Italian food. Had the capricciosa and it was amazing. Run by actual Italians and is a real hidden gem!

Used to frequent here quite often as it was a lovely hidden gem. Since the renovations and staff changes the atmosphere is quite cold now, and doesn’t have the quaint charm it used to have. Quality of entrees seems to have diminished also, bresaola was dry and mozzarella chewy, although the pizza is still excellent. Would still order takeaway pizza from here, however don’t feel like dining in again unfortunately.

If you love traditional style pizza. This is the only place you need. Amazing wood fired pizza that will not disappoint. A nice and quiet place to eat in or take away if you must. You must try this pizza.

Great pizza. However prices online are not the same as what I was charged upon collection. Staff member offered no apology and acted indignantly for overcharging me for my food. Disappointed about service and suggest that the online menu prices are updated to avoid confusion in the future.

Disappointing. Today I ordered the SPQR with no meat (as I’m vegetarian) but can with hardly any mushrooms and no rocket. Last week ordered my fave Zucca but they have changed it from roasted pumpkin to a pumpkin purée. That was really disappointing. Time for a new pizza shop unfortunately.

Good food but a bit of a weird atmosphere. Their pizza oven is being upgraded, so we weren't able to order pizzas or any kind of entree bread (garlic bread or bruschetta) despite them being on the menu. We really enjoyed the pastas. Lasagna portions were huge! Coffee, tea and hot chocolates after the meal were a perfect way to finish the night.

Great pizza, awesome pasta, not exactly cheap but you get what you pay for though. Never been disappointed

too noisy, waiter totally forgot about us all night - had to call him over to get drinks!!! Again, we had to remind him to order our food. finally got our drinks after our 1st course!! food was average. Never going again.

Best place to eat REAL Italian food ,we felt like we were eating in Italy, all the staff is nice and friendly . The pasta was al dente as we like it . The meat was so tender and juicy . We will definitely come back with all our friend . Come here to taste the best Italian meals

I had the Isabella pizza and it was delicious. The food and service here is very high quality. We came from the western suburbs to dine with friends and it was definitely worth the trip. If you think only Carlton has decent Italian think again.
