Food is great, we tried the sweet pancake for dessert and we ordered the Nutella pancake (double 😚😚/ extra plain crepe) and the flambe crepe. It's quite nice I like the flambe pancake especially. Definitely will try to check other menu. Ps : they do have branch in the city which I visited a while ago . --- Update Feb 2024 Still good crepes , ordered both savoury and sweet one.

One of my favourite places to visit in Carnegie. Authentic French cuisine and the crepes are absolutely beautiful with a huge selection available. Vegan friendly with many options. A good selection of wine and beer. The coffee is also quite good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely decorations - with a neat map of France showing where the staff are from 🇫🇷 Definitely recommend booking as space inside is quite limited. Tables are quite crowded in so depending on the time of day, it can be a little noisy. There are also outdoor dining tables - the traffic noise can be a little intrusive if seated outside. You need to try the Crepe Suzette - superb 😋

Great roule and pancakes. I always go for the savoury ones as I don’t have much of a sweet tooth; admittedly they look good. You have to try the cider. The service is very good but takes a while..worth the wait. It is a little pricy but I recommend you go visit.

Amazing Galette and Crepes. Just like the outlet in the city. This outlet is huge compared to the one in the city with outdoor and indoor seating. The Hangover Galette was delicious. The pickled tomatoes were excellent. The Biscoffolie Crepe was very tasty. Soft and buttery, the flavours blended well together and wasn’t excessively sweet like other crepes I’ve tried. Will definitely return.

We love this place! It's our favorite go-to crepe and coffee place. They have the best crepes in Melbourne, I must say! Their crew is also very warm, friendly, and accommodating. We tried the Nutella crepe and my personal favorite, Creme De La'ardeche! 😋👌

I've been here 8 times since 2019 (according to my Google timeline), and never had a bad dessert! We keep coming back for the La Lotus dessert crepe. It's a must-have for Lotus Biscoff lovers. It is a perfectly chewy crepe encasing 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, together with an amazing biscoff topping. Tonight, we also had La Belle Normande - also good. A positive change I noticed was that I wasn't asked for a tip (:

I am not a fan of crepes but when my teenage daughter adamantly requested for us to try this place, I actually loved it! It’s definitely a GO to place if ur craving for an authentic, fresh and delicious crepes. I ordered a ratatouille crepe and I just loved how the flavours are well balanced and you can taste the texture of each bite. Highly recommended but make sure you come early or after lunch so you can grab a sit.

Delicious crepes that comes in a various forms. Had the house special La Norvegienne and it did not disappoint. Filled with smoked salmon, potatoes and Swiss cheese, they are surprisingly filling. They are noticeably on the expensive side in my opinion, but a lot of fun.

🇫🇷 french galettes 🐽 capri 🥑 chicken avo 🥗 salade de chèvre chaud 🐟 truffle salmon 🏠: @roulegalettemelbourne 📍: Koornang Rd, Carnegie 📝: Cute French creperie in the heart of Melbourne CBD and Carnegie. Enjoy freshly made traditional savory galettes and sweet crepes. They won’t disappoint. ❤️: Love a delicious galette, so crispy and buttery with your choice of filling on the inside. My favorite would have to be the Chicken Avo galette with 🐔 chicken, 🧀 swiss cheese, 🌿 basil pesto, 🍅 cherry tomatoes, and, of course, 🥑 avocado. Refresh yourself with their house made Iced Tea 🫖🍋.

One of the best French dessert restaurant in Carnegie. The restaurant was very busy, all the dessert was freshly made and you can see them making it on the sport. The waitress also have a thick accent to give you that atmosphere. We ordered the La lotus crepes and Aumoniere crepes. I love the La lotus better because it was rich in flavour with salted caramel quick is salty and sweet vanilla ice Cream which is sweet. The crunchy cookies that comes with it was very nice as well.

Perfect place for delicious crepes & galette. Delightful experience, from entree to dessert. Both savory Galette & sweet crepes are tasty. I personally like sweet crepes more. The savory is authentic. Quite heavy in favour, and it’s filling. For a group of 2, I would suggest ordering one savory galette and 2 sweet crepes to share, if you are not a big eater. Friendly French staffs with great customer services. Great location with walkable distances of public transports & street parkings around!

This famous French creperie is so popular that you're often struggling to get a table! Sadly today they reached capacity due to covid capacity restrictions. It smells amazing inside and out of the venue so I'm not surprised. We'll be back soon.

Sometimes, I enjoy to go out and try some new places by myself. I went to this place yesterday night after looked up " crepe near me". The place was quite busy on Saturday night. And they still welcomed customers to come in even it was nearly 10pm , the closing time. All the Staff there are young Frenches, they are friendly and provided good service. I love the way they set up the transparent kitchen bench so you can actually watch the staff make your food. The food was quite nice but I still prefer the sweet one with homemade whipped cream, and it did not taste super sweet like other places. Will be back for sure!!!

Lovely crepes. It was my first time and I had the Chicken Chasseur special. Amazing flavour. My partner had the "Complete A La Roule Galette". Truffle oil on that one really bought the flavour out. Will visit again and try the others.

My favourite place in Melbourne! I almost always order the aumonière which is a sweet crepe filled with ice cream and whipped cream that is encircled in chocolate (photo attached). It is heavenly; c'est très delicieux! Plus, the presentation is consistently beautiful. I reckon these crêpes are the best in Melbourne! I've tried their galettes a few times (mainly la Complète à la Roule Galette) and the galettes are just as good as the crêpes! The staff are also super friendly and speak french so you can converse in French with them. Unfortunately, the prices have slowly risen over the past few years so it is a little on the pricey side but it's worth every cent!

it is a authentic french experience, I am not sure being french is a prerequisite for the employment, the crepe and galette were nice both savoury and sweet. What a lovely surprise to have found this place

Just like being in Paris! All the staff speak French so great to practice with. The food is wonderful whether you are choosing savoury or sweet. Oh the cider is fantastic but strong so maybe not for the DD. The demand is great so be prepared to wait in their busy times but trust me it’s worth it.

We went here today for an afternoon treat. Myself and the daughters. We each had a crepe and a drink. Being a Sunday there must have been a surcharge as it was almost $25 a head, but I think it was still worth it. If I'm in the area again I'm sure I would love to come back. All the staff speaking French added to the atmosphere too.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident while walking down the street looking for a nice place to eat for mine and my partner's anniversary, and this was where we ended up! Amazing menu full of delicious pancakes in all sorts of flavours and awesome wines/alcohol to go along with it! We would love to come back and try the rest of the pancakes at some point in the near future for sure :)

I was craving French cuisine and I got it. The perfect spot for when you’re craving a warm, comforting dessert to fill you up. And a savoury dinner or lunch is of course a bonus of this place’s menu - with their tasty galettes. The highlight for me was the special hot chocolate - which on the menu is called Chocolat ligeois and is a blended frothy mixture of whipped cream and chocolate. I cannot describe how delectable this was, the most comforting drink I have ever had. Not so much a strong chocolate flavour, but if you love a frothy texture in a hot drink I highly recommend this. The Dijonnaise galette was very tasty and included a lot of chicken. The Saint Jaques galette was delicate and enjoyable in flavour, with the galette served as a bed for the scallops. Service was friendly and prompt, the staff here are very organised and professional.

Caramel sauce is to die for here. Sometimes they sell in jars and I would buy it. This egg, cheese and mushroom savoury crepe was delicious too.

Crepe was delicious but very small for the price. I even paid extra for two, because I was hungry. So this is the double serving. Seeing other photos from reviewers with their crepes taking up the entire plate (some even overlapping the edge) I’m feeling a little short-changed. Nonetheless I would give them another go.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth then I would definitely recommend the Biscoff Crepe. The place is quite small and tables close together so not really a place to talk or relax.

My partner and I have been to Flinders lane branch before the Carnegie one and enjoyed the ambience of the Carnegie one much more. Plenty of seating and the open restaurant to the street gives great vibes. The food itself is great, some unusual flavours that we’re willing to try out. I think the downside is that given our appetite, it just doesn’t feel filling enough. We were able to eat through 3 galette orders between the two of us and didn’t feel too satisfied but that could be because we’re big eaters, not the restaurants fault. So many gluten free options. We ordered the Saint-Jacques Galette, canard confit galette and là belle Normande. Do I remember what flavours they were, not really, aside from confit being the duck. Scallops was interesting, nice and light. Duck was a little more hefty. I think I enjoyed our sweeter option with the salted caramel, it’s really rich though, I needed more ice cream. Overall great vibes, would go with friends for dessert or as a group and try out new flavours (a bit pricey). Drinks were really nice.

French breakfast cafe, staff were nice and welcoming. We asked for the heater but they couldn't/ we're not allowed to turn it on and offered blankets instead... I get it it's french and nice. But 4-6 dollars for half an avocado as an extra option?? There isn't much ingredients on your plates but it costs you around $24 You get a desert crepe to share and a coffee, you pay $50 at the register. I think the inflation also doesn't help 🤷
