πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely stunning. I'm not sure why these gardens aren't more popular. I love the Alfred Nichols gardens, but for my taste I adore these gardens more. Not as large but packed pull of gorgeous plants and flowers. It's also not as busy as other gardens. Do your self a favour and visit these gardens.... Gorgeous gardens which are quieter place to visit compared to other gardens in the Mt Dandenongs.Very picturesque with huge trees, cooler climate loving flowers and shrubs, definitely a visit for garden nature lovers. Seats scattered around the gardens to enjoy a quiet reflective moment. Old historical home to see.

Oh, and as a little secret, push on the large rock to the right as you enter the gardens!

A gorgeous garden to wander around in. The day we visited there were a group of dedicated volunteers doing such a great job tidying and maintaining the gardens. So much work. Lots of name plaques for the trees and plants. Well formed paths and some steep pathways. A wonderful collection of plants and trees to enjoy Toilets and plenty of park benches to rest and admire natures beauty

Peaceful and pretty gardens. Bring your picnic rug and set up in one of many suitable spots. A few mozzies around, so you may want to bring some insect repellent.

Stunning. One of our favorite gardens to visit especially during Autumn. Breathtaking range of colors on display. Bring a picnic, lots of grass to spread out on.

Stopped here on our way to Launching Place. Didnt walk all the paths, but what we saw was lovely. Toilet onsite was old but decent.

It was my first time going here. It's a beautiful and peaceful place like the Alfred Nicholls Garden nearby. Some of the walking areas are closed due to maintenance issues. On the remaining walks, you're surrounded with wonderful and colourful flowers and flora. For rest and reflection, there are wooden chairs scattered around the gardens. Also a gazebo for extra shade. There are toilets.

Wonderful selection of camelias, azaleas, and rhododendrons. The gardens deserve greater visitation. We encountered only one other couple in the hour or so we we were there.

A hidden gem in the 'Nongs off Sherbrooke Rd. Stunning hydrangea, tall mountain ash and a wonderful range of plants from around the world. A small grass area with table if you want a quiet spot to picnic. Parking available.

What a beautiful place! Paths wander amongst a rainbow of colour, every twist brings another mother nature masterpiece. Hydrangeas paint rainbows amongst lillies and magnificent trees. Beautiful lush green lawns make an ideal picnic spot.

Stunning location. Great for walking or a day trip. Free entry, toilet is accessible, car park is quite challenging on the peak time.

This is a small yet pretty garden with meandering paths and many varieties of ornamental plants and trees. Car park in front. These trees were lovely to sit under with park benches along the way.

Beautiful Garden with lots of colour and bloom at the start of spring. Very unique to see so much Camelia and other similar plans, almost huge trees. Very serene. The little paths / walks in the garden are very pleasant. A calm and quite place.

These Gardens would currently be the best in the Dandenongs due to a large number of flowering plants and the scents are wonderfully.

Loved it we had a great time, smallish garden wish there were more places to sit perhaps under some trees or rotundas provide more benches, open more of your old pathways I'd love to explore deeper into the garden. Clean bathrooms everything well looked after, a overall great place to explore with the family and our four legged family member, was steep as expected but wasn't as bad as it's split levels and sections of path rambled and hugged others. Would recommend anyone looking to get out for a short walk or looking for a very peaceful place to sit listen to birds or the breeze through the trees. Out dog had a great time as he always does exploring everything and never seems to tire of going there it's always something different for him.

This garden is a haven for Garden fans who love green plants and lovely ferny glens of tree ferns, garden beds full of Hydrangeas, Azaleas, Fuchsias, Azaleas and Rhododendrons.
