Candlebark Walk Reserve

Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍 Beautiful place for a walk, dog friendly but need to keep them on the lead. I noticed free dog poop bags supplied by the council, so nice to see. I hope others parks could do like this. Heaps of ducks and good seats along some of the paths. People often mention walk,

Nice place to take a dog for the walk and a bit of kick to kick with the kids. track circles creek/lake through bush on wide side and footpath on the other side. 2.3km around. A leisurely stroll on a autumn afternoon is just the ticke.

A great peaceful walk with lots of water and birdlife about. Links up with other trails and parks. Seating along the way with dome good views.

Really nice local reserve with tracks that go around the lake. Great for watching the local bird life and getting outdoors. This reserve is always pretty quiet and peaceful.

Stunning on a rainy day to feel like you're in a rainforest. There are signs for dogs in lead only so be aware as there are dog walkers along the trails. Great photography spot, too!

Nice, clean convenient park reserve. Nature therapy in the suburbs. A decent amount of seating. Recommended.

Green and lush and a full lake. Good walking paths circle the lake. Various waterbirds. I found this a great place for a strolling walk amongst established tall trees. Totally worth coming here for tranquility.

This is a lovely neighbourhood walk - among the gum trees, birds twittering away ... we often go here as a group to paint - so peaceful

Lovely place to unwind and enjoy nature. Well maintained paths make for an easy stroll around the lake. There are several strategically placed benches for one to relax, soak in the atmosphere and admire the wildlife

Absolutely stunning. Great place to walk or even have a picnic. Thanks to the Maroondah walking track guide as I wouldn’t have found this beautiful place without it.
