Wow!! Who would have known that tucked away in a little suburban street of Boronia you would find a true foodie gem in The Flavour Gallery. On a quiet mid week evening we dined ordering 2 pizzas and they were simply 2 of the best Wood Fire Oven Pizzas we've ever eaten in Melbourne. The dough was Neapolitan style perfection and cooked at the right temperature. The sauce was authentic and the rest of the toppings fresh and flavoursome. The menu holds many other dishes that I'm keen to try in the next dozen or so visits. Highly recommended. UPDATE Didn't wait too long for the next visit so this time it was breakfast. Awesome, standing ovation food. Fresh bread, fresh produce, beautifully cooked and presented. I would give it 6 out of 5.

Delicious Seafood Marinara, rich garlic and butter flavour with a good helping of seafood. 🍝 The wood fired The Butcher Pizza was great with a generous cheese base and good amount of toppings. πŸ• Not the prettiest interior, quite a few people coming in and out for takeout so dining in wasn't too much of a vibe. But that's what you want for a small business, to be busy. 😎 Would come back πŸ˜‹

Came here on Saturday just before 4pm and there was only one occupied table of about 5 ppl. The staff didn't seem ready for us which is fair enough since it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. He quickly set a table up for us, a family of 5. He was really friendly and courteous. We ordered a kids Hawaiian pizza, BBQ pulled pork pizza, carbonara and pulled pork panini. The food came about 10 mins later which was a longer wait than normal but again, maybe they were not ready for customers. It was worth the wait because we all enjoyed our dishes. The pizzas were juicy, the crust crispy yet soft. The carbonara was really rich, generous amount of bacon. Panini was soft and juicy, the filling was generous too. It seems they've been here over a year but only just noticed them. I certainly will be back to try the coffee and caramel slice. The place is quite small though, perhaps can hold 15-20 ppl. Hopefully on warmer days they can put tables outside since the footpath has been widen recently. The decor is very cosy.

Fantastic service, owner is so friendly! Restaurant is very clean and vibes are nice. Food portions are big, and great value. Pictured: iced coffee, calamari rings and chips, onion rings, spaghetti carbonara.

The menu looks great and the decor isn't too bad but a pity that TFG has a takeaway vibe. I dined in on a Saturday @7pm and no one was around other than people picking up their orders. The stone-baked Butcher pizza is super yummy with fresh generous ingredients. I highly recommend it, if you're seeking a discerning Italian style pizza and will be back to try the others. The croutons in the Caesar salad were a massive letdown -they were tough and tasted old. A pity as otherwise everything else in the salad was fresh and tasty.

This place is a favourite of my girlfriend and I. We take friends there on occasion too. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The food is great! We like the breakfast and pizzas a lot (the crusts are fantastic). My girlfriend tells me the bacon is the best she's ever had.

Amazing wood fired pizza so fresh and it’s loaded with flavour and toppings. Try the chicken tandoori pizza. It will remind you of Mumbai. They deliver to so order up.

Great pizza; fluffy and nicely charred crust with generous topping portions! The chilli mussels are delicious. I can't help myself but order them every time. The burgers and Parmas are also recommended! Lovely and friendly staff. Grateful to have such tasty food in Boronia 😊

Pictures don't show the mushrooms as they were so good we ate them already!! One of the best breakfasts we've had, Gypsy and Monks breakfasts. Great food as always and great coffee and chai lattes. Super friendly staff, this will definitely be our new local cafe.

THE best pizzas in the area for sure. Woodfired is the only way to have pizzas! Have had Spicy prawn, Greek lamb, Pepperoni, Mexican and Vegetarian (which, in my opinion, tastes better without the pumpkin) have all been absolutely outstanding and with very generous toppings in the most balanced way. The staff is extremely polite and accommodating of any changes we ask to the orders. Now they do seem to fall behind a lot, especially on Thursday, Fri & Sat evenings when it comes to ready times for takeaway. But honestly, I don't hold it against them as they get a ridiculous amount of takeaway orders for a small place with VERY limited staff while also serving eat-in customers. I did wait a few times an additional 10-20 minutes past their suggested ready times, on their busy days. But, I've never been upset about it ( and I'm usually quick to anger) as the wait has always been worth it! If concerned about delays, then trying them Monday - Wednesday would be recommended IMO.

Wood fired pizzas.. perfectly baked.. πŸ‘ Excellent staff - special mention to Su (Sudeshna) who's always willing to help you with her suggestions if you need.. πŸ‘Œ Tandoori chicken pizza is nice and flavoursome (I think it'll taste better if the mint chutney was spread all over the pizza..) vegetarian pizza is good - pumpkin on it was a bit strange to me though.. The ambience is not bad for the busy pizza shop.. Spicy Prawn Pizza is really nice. It's not too spicy, but it's definitely yumm...

Wow! What a find. The service the food amazing. Greta little local restaurant with legit wood fired pizza and great pastas. It’s been here for three years and we only just found it. Will be back for sure. Definitely worth going to for eat in or even takeaway.

Ordered via Uber Eats, the pizza (Pizza Bianco) is quite good, the Arancini on the other hand inedible, way overcooked, almost charcoal, greasy……

Just had dinner here for the first time. Service was a tad slow had to wait 55 mins to get dinner. The place was flat out with uber calls and im thinking they might need 1 more worker. Not exactly sure issue there. When the food finally came to the table i pretty much forgot about the long wait. It was amazing 10/10 i really enjoyed it. Friendly staff just there flat out.. i think if you had 1 more person this joint would of been perfect.

Ordered the Seafood Marinara Spaghetti. The food was perfect, five stars. However, the order was ready in 39 mins, 17 mins after the indicated time of 22 mins. Worth half a star deduction but Google doesn't allow half star increments so deducted one star for this. I wouldn't have minded if the order took 45 mins or so. They just need to more accurately estimate their wait time to minimise time spent waiting at the restaurant.

Omgoodness the pizza πŸ• is to die for! They are thin, crispy, hot and with the absolute top ingredients. Definitely my new go to for pizzas. You have to try it! If this shop was in the Main Street you’d not be able to get a table. It’s that good!

We ordered woodfire pizza for takeaway, one prosciutto and a pepperoni. The guy on the phone was pretty accurate with his 15 minute wait and when we picked up the pizzas, they were piping hot. Flavour on the pepperoni was amazing, especially because of the blue cheese. The prosciutto pizza was nice as well, with the greens and the balsamic sauce giving it just that extra punch. Quick service and delicious woodfire pizza made this a quick, local favourite. We'll be back!

Had my 18th birthday dinner, everyone couldn’t make a complaint in the slightest. The staff were super friendly, in fact just before we got up to leave the waiter asked us not to leave for a moment as he had a surprise, he went and got a cake out of their dessert fridge, and a candle and sung me happy birthday. That is service you can’t buy. I would go back in a heartbeat, could not recommend this restaurant anymore.

What an amazing hidden gem! This will now become my go to for wood fire pizza, the best I’ve had in a long time! Would just love to also mention how clean and presentable the shop is and how friendly the staff are, 10/10 would recommend πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

What a breathe of fresh air is this place!! A relaxed and charming little spot to enjoy, lunch or dinner, or just pop in for your morning takeaway coffee. Wonderfully friendly staff. An intriguing menu with plenty of options. I’ve tried some really delicious dishes prepared with attention to detail. I just love that this place has opened so close to my home, and so far away from noisy traffic or main roads. It’s a must try. Takeaway available too.

A couple,e of days ago I bought their Caesar Salad take away. It was pretty good, so tonight we decided to get another meal. The Calamari Salad. It was without doubt the most delicious take away meal I have ever eaten. A superb combination of fresh flavours and textures. And I'm told that the risotto and pizzas are also very good.
