Mehmet and the team are super helpful and welcoming. I dropped off 2 pairs of boots and they were both resoled within 45 minutes - way faster than I expected and the job was done really well. I sent my mum there too and she’s also very impressed with her shoe repairs.

Had an issue with my car key. Mehmet came out and helped at 9:30pm after he’d worked all day and got the key sorted. Then had an issue with my battery (needed a new one in the end). Mehmet tried a range of things to get the car started, even calling a mate of his who is a mechanic. He then lent me the jumper leads and drove me home. As good as service gets.

I can't thank the lovely man at Mister Mint (Mehmeet is his name I think) enough for his patience and skill setting me up with a spare car key, even coming to my car to finish the job. Nice to see old fashioned polite service.

I shop at Altona Gate all the time and have had the opportunity to get to know Mehmet, not only is he a great person he also has to be the hardest worker I have ever met in my life, he is there before any shop opens , and is still there when we are all going home. I have a large watch collection, and for a few years have been supporting this store for battery replacements plus pressure testing. Today I politely asked if I would qualify for a VIP discount as I do spend a lot of money here. The answer I got from the shop assistant ( not the owner ) was, " I don't get a discount when I go shopping at Coles, so why would I give you one. I found this response to be both sarcastic and rude. I then paid the full price nodded my head and left. This review is not about the monetary transaction, it's about the rude response I received.

Mehmet went above and beyond for me with replacement of garage door keys… aside from that, always very welcoming team at the shop … highly recommended!

Doesn't have good product knowledge. Got a quote but when I got there it had gone up 25%. They tried to tell it's because there were different keys for that car and that's why. Checked with manufacturer and there's only one.

Terrible car key battery replacement service. Was charged for $25 and the key fob still didn't work. I had to open the case and turned out they had put in a wrong battery type. The key fob indicates clearly what battery type it requires. They even sticked a white tape under the battery to make it "fit". Such a dispointment for a simple job like this.
